Lucius's scheme

" Harry, we shouldn't have used the redemption code on that card," Ron whispered to Harry. " Fred and George told me that the gold character redemption code can be sold for five Silver Sickle or more, and Ginny's Witch of the Moon - Ozomuna can be sold for one Galleon if it comes with the original card."

"A card is worth that much?" Harry was very surprised.

Surprised, he felt he couldn't take advantage of Ginny for nothing, so he found Ginny after class.

"I didn't know that redemption code was so valuable. If it's alright, I'd like to give you a gift. Is there anything you need?"

"No need," Ginny said magnanimously. Galleon were precious, but not enough to make her rude to her friend. "You've already given me Lockhart's complete collection of books."

Compared to the children's innocent hearts, the Wizarding World's craze for redemption codes has become rampant and unrestrained.

In the Wizarding World, there are many wealthy individuals who spend lavishly on redemption codes, offering bounties for collecting complete sets of cards and redemption codes.

It became popular for no apparent reason.

The people on campus were completely unaware of this. Every day when Harry logged into Wizard Legend to check the leaderboard, he would exclaim, "How come these people are chasing combat power so fiercely?"

Lorne was still following along, but this time he was following second-year students. Many students at the school had a lot of complaints about this. Some said that Lorne was Dumbledore's bodyguard to protect Harry Potter, while others said that Lorne was following behind the second-year students in order to take back the Magic Mobile Phone that he had given away as a reward and resell it.

But everyone now calls the second-year students "the Crown Prince of the Royal Family," and there's no doubt about that.

Lorne rubbed his temples. This semester was destined to be anything but peaceful: the divide between grades, the giant snake, the Chamber of Secrets, the diary...

There's also Lockhart.

Only one week into the semester, Lorne already had a stack of reports and feedback about Lockhart piled up as high as a teacup.

I really don't know why Dumbledore would let someone like that into Hogwarts. He even flirted with the students and sent a bunch of Cornish Pixies out to smash the Defence Against Dark Magic Class classroom to pieces.

Lorne was furious after reading the students' feedback; these guys had the audacity to ask for funding.

He decided to put everything else aside and get rid of this cancer first.

At the same time, Lucius invited the patriarch of the Nott Family, who was also one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, to his home for a dinner party.

" Old Nott, was this your idea?"

A flicker of surprise crossed Old Nott's gloomy eyes; he didn't know what Lucius was referring to.

"Is it about exemptions from duties at the Ministry of Magic?"

As political allies of the Malfoy family, the Nott Family colluded within the Ministry of Magic, often changing unfavorable regulations simply by gathering for tea.

"No, it's about your public announcement of buying up cards and redemption codes at high prices," Lucius, his eyes full of admiration. "That's the greatest operation I've ever seen."

"Historically, those that have influenced the market through commodity speculation are all necessities. By using high buyback prices to encourage hoarding of those dirty cards, you're creating a false sense of prosperity. When the bubble bursts, we can simply shut down that shop according to existing regulations governing market influence."

Lucius, believing he had spoken Nott's mind, raised his glass to Old Nott from afar.

"That damn Magic Mobile Phone shop is corrupting my son. He had a huge fight with me because I confiscated his Magic Mobile Phone."

Lucius shook his head helplessly, but his eyes were full of fierceness. "The mastermind behind that shop is a complete Muggle. He's amassed a fortune in the Wizarding World, and sooner or later he'll affect our standing. Old Nott, you're incredibly prescient. I haven't even figured out how to deal with him yet."

Old Nott, seeing Lucius's penetrating analysis of the situation without uttering a word, immediately recovered from his earlier astonishment. "That's right, victory belongs to the Pure-blood."

Actually, he only bought it because the Wizard Legend in Magic Mobile Phone was fun.

In a recent event, a player named " Quiet " kept stealing his event points, so he decided to use Galleon to buy redemption codes and spend money to intimidate others.

But taking down the Magic Mobile Phone Shop...

That sounds good too. That way, he can take over The Wizard Legend, and then he'll definitely kick out " Quiet," the guy who called him a "poor bastard" in the game.

"First, inflate the price," Old Nott, a veteran of the Ministry of Magic, immediately offered a plan. "Like the hype surrounding antiques and rare magical items, trick wizards into thinking it's very valuable, using scarcity to gradually create room for short selling. When they realize their items are worthless, we'll create a buzz and get them to denounce the Magic Mobile Phone Shop."

"This way, I can earn some extra money on the side."

Lucius and Old Nott exchanged a glance, then burst into laughter, clinked glasses, and continued their daydreaming.

Inside the school, Draco watched as Goyle and Crabbe each held a Magic Mobile Phone and couldn't help but sneer, "Don't you two grind every night? How come you still can't get first place on the event character ranking?"

Goyle gave Draco a resentful look. "Even if you come, it won't work. I've almost collected all the cards in Hogwarts, but ' Quiet ' always draws one more character than me."

Draco, whose Magic Mobile Phone had been confiscated, was stung by this. "If I were in charge, I would have been number one long ago!"

"Come on, Draco," Crabbe gave up too. "How many cards does the school have? I even begged my father to collect some for me outside, and it still didn't surpass this guy's number."

"Your father?" Draco raised his voice. "Won't he scold you for playing with the Muggle- made Magic Mobile Phone?"

"No," Crabbe shook his head. "He also praised my political foresight, saying that Pure-blood are buying up these cards at high prices, and that your father was the one who initiated it."

Draco stared in disbelief. "What!"

A million possibilities flashed through Draco's mind, and he immediately picked the most likely one.

His father played with his Magic Mobile Phone and is now obsessed with Wizard Legend, no wonder he won't give Magic Mobile Phone back.

No, no, Father couldn't be that naive.

Draco continued his search. Based on his father's attitude towards Muggle, he would never acquire derivative products of the Magic Mobile Phone for no reason, not even if it could earn Galleon.

Suddenly, the image of his father looking out at the Magic Mobile Phone store from in front of Borgin and Burkes and saying, "I hope he can survive the Ministry of Magic's inspection," flashed through his mind.

Father is going to take action against Director Lorne and the Magic Mobile Phone Shop.
