Drowning Voldemort

Lorne opened the diary and dropped a drop of ink onto it.

The light brown paper slowly recedes inward, like water stains on clothes drying in the sun, the ink returning to a blank page.

A sentence slowly appeared on the page of the diary.

"Who are you?"

Lorne remained silent, simply continuing to pour ink into the container.

The first year's work is done, the second year's work continues. The main enemy of the General Affairs Office is to give you a full load of water today, and if the ink is not enough, switch to tap water. He doesn't believe that Tom's old diary can absorb the entire Pacific Ocean!

Oh right, and bitter tea too, so you can experience Colin's unbearable pain.

As an upright director of the General Affairs Office, Lorne had no intention of keeping the notebook for himself, nor did he intend to do anything that might threaten his personal safety.

Hand it over! Hand it over without hesitation!

But when Lorne remembered how Dumbledore had dragged him to buy Ron a wand, he felt he couldn't rush to find Dumbledore. He decided to wait until the next time Dumbledore summoned him and then casually pull it out, surprising him completely.

Anyway, it's safe with me. He's not some curious person who'll bombard Tom with questions.

At the end of November, the second year of Quidditch Hogwarts officially began.

Lorne wasn't interested in Quidditch, but he was very interested in Dobby, who could manipulate the Bludger.

Of course, student safety is the top priority.

" Harry," Lorne approached Harry in the Gryffindor dressing room, "You might be in danger later."

"Danger?" Harry asked confused, "What danger? How come you are the Riddler like Dobby, Director Lorne."

Lorne gave an embarrassed smile, "You guessed right."

The danger comes from Dobby.

Lorne explained to Harry Dobby was going to do next, using the Bludger to smash Harry down from the sky.

"Can you stop it, Director?"

"Of course," Lorne readily agreed, but then changed the subject, "However, Dobby won't give up. If you hadn't gotten injured this time, he might have affected you in the finals next time, or he might have smashed your head open during your final exams..."

Lorne listed over a dozen possibilities, each more gruesome than the last, until Harry grimaced and couldn't help but interrupt, "Am I really going to die?"

Lorne held a finger up in front of Harry's eyes and shook it. He leaned closer and said, "No, I have a great idea, but I need your help. It might hurt a little, but it'll definitely solve the problem once and for all."

Harry pondered for a moment, "Okay, tell me, I'll cooperate."

On the Quidditch Pitch.

The younger Gryffindor students were all cheering for Harry, with Ron being the loudest.

Lee Jordan, still commentating right under Professor McGonagall's nose, said, " Harry made a nimble turn and overtook Malfoy... Wait, the Bludger seems to be out of control. Harry is being chased very closely. Even in this situation, is Harry still going to chase the Golden Snitch?"

Ron roared angrily from the stands, "It's the same trick again! Just like last year, framing my brother right under my nose! Hermione, don't stop me! I'm going to teach that Bludger a lesson!"

" Finite Incantatem!"

Ron pulled out his new wand and, to everyone's surprise, successfully emitted a dazzling beam of light.

Unfortunately, the Bludger was too fast, and Ron's spell couldn't even touch its tail.

Harry rode his broomstick, weaving through the fields. Even Draco, riding the Nimbus 2001, couldn't outrun Harry and was quickly left behind.

The Golden Snitch, Harry, and the Bludger form a perfect trio, with Harry being both predator and prey, creating a situation where the mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.

The Quidditch field was soft, and Harry rolled several times as he finally fell to the ground. His left hand was clearly bent, while his right hand was tightly clutching the gleaming Golden Snitch.

" Harry caught the Golden Snitch! Gryffindor wins!"

The Bludger's pursuit hadn't stopped; it slammed down several more times, but Harry nimbly dodged them all.

Hermione arrived just in time and struck the Bludger with a Finite Incantatem it from moving. Ron seized the opportunity and kicked it dozens of meters away.

Lorne nudged Lockhart beside him. "It's your time to show yourself."

Lockhart's desire for a new lease on life had been burning ever since, especially with Lorne's personal permission. He immediately rushed to the front of the crowd. "It looks like a broken bone, but it's alright. Just like what happened when I was on the Voyages with Vampires, all it takes is a little spell— Brackium Emendo!"

Harry's arm went limp as if frozen.

"You're welcome, Harry. You're definitely not in pain anymore, right? I've successfully healed your fracture."

"Nonsense!" Hagrid's temper flared. "You've knocked all his bones out, how could there be any fractures!"

Lockhart's spell successfully turned Harry's hospital stay from an hour into a day. Harry drank the Skele-Gro that Madam Pomfrey him and lay in bed all day.

And his Magic Mobile Phone.

Harry had a rare moment of relaxation by himself. Playing on his phone with one hand was a little inconvenient, but Wizard Legend wasn't exactly a game that required much skill. In the quiet of the night, nothing was more comforting than being in his carriage listening to Yaoyao talk.

He was the only patient in the huge Hospital Wing. Harry played a little aloud, because it would be much less interesting if Yaoyao spoke in a mute.

" Yaoyao check it out! This little border town in England is surrounded by swamps, no need to worry. The Yaoyao is watching over the carriage tracks, so the little wizard can sleep soundly."

Harry wanted to get a good night's sleep; he was indeed a bit sleepy, but he still had a mission to complete.

Harry looked around, and when he looked up, he suddenly saw a long nose about to poke his face.

"Is Yaoyao House-elf too? He's so funny," Dobby jumped onto Harry's bed. " Harry Potter should have listened to Dobby and gone straight home after missing the train, so Dobby wouldn't have had to hurt Harry Potter with his Bludger."

"It really is you, Dobby," Harry threatened menacingly. "You'd better get out of here right now, or I'll slap you so hard you'll spin like a top once my bones have healed."

Dobby covered his face and cried, " Dobby didn't want this either, but it was Dobby only way. Dobby could only threaten Harry Potter to prevent him from being fatally harmed. Dobby punished himself for this by burning his hand with an iron."

Harry was speechless for a moment, but remembering the task Director Lorne had given him, he could only grit his teeth and say, " Dobby, I can forgive you, but you need to promise me one thing."

"Whatever it is, Dobby will definitely do it!"

"No Apparition allowed within one hour."

Dobby promises you, Dobby will stay here with you for a whole hour, without leaving your side.

Harry felt it was unnecessary. He wanted to shout into the darkness, but then remembered they were in the Hospital Wing, so he lowered his voice slightly. "It agreed, Director Lorne."

Dobby wanted to look back, but found his body suddenly floating up uncontrollably.

Lorne emerged from the corner, mimicking the smug tone Dobby had used when he took it away from the store. "Got you, Dobby."
