Hermione, held in his arms, felt limp and powerless, her voice trembling softly, "You... you let me go... Draco, you did this on purpose..."
She struggled twice, her strength as weak as a kitten scratching an itch.
"Then tell me, does it count?"
Hermione bit her lip and mumbled, "... Fine, you win! Don't get so close anymore..."
Draco loosened his grip slightly, but still held her tightly in his arms, his fingers gently stroking her flushed cheek.
"If you had been this good earlier, you wouldn't have been bullied."
"You're the naughty one... you're a big bad guy." Hermione's words lacked any forcefulness; instead, they sounded like she was pouting.
Draco lowered his head and gently kissed her cheek.
Hermione froze instantly.
"That scoundrel is taking my Miss Star out now." He propped himself up and ruffled her messy curls.
If you don't get up now, you're going to miss your date today.
Hermione covered her burning ears and buried her face in the pillow for a long time, refusing to lift her head.
A minute later, Hermione finally managed to lift her head from the pillow, her cheeks still as red as ripe berries.
She glared at Draco, who was grinning smugly, and turned her face away angrily, but he gently pulled her back with his hand.
"Still angry?" Draco's fingers brushed along her flushed jawline, his voice softening. "I won't tease you anymore, really."
Hermione remained silent, the annoyance she felt earlier shattered by his closeness, leaving only a rapid, pounding heartbeat that she couldn't calm down.
Draco chuckled softly at her shy yet tense expression, then resigned himself to his fate.
"Alright, you've done your job. Anyway, I've already gotten all the benefits, so I haven't lost out."
Hermione's face flushed again, her eyes widened suddenly, and she glared at him, both angry and embarrassed. "Who asked you to go easy on me! I already finished it!"
She was stubborn, but she gently snuggled into his arms, as if she hadn't quite recovered from their closeness.
Even though she had clearly won, he had teased her so much that she didn't dare to look him in the eye, "You, you better not be so smug--"
Her voice trembled slightly, but she still forced herself to speak.
Anyway, from now on, you're not allowed to play tricks on me anymore!
Draco looked at her slightly pouting lips; she didn't seem angry at all. She was clearly soft and obedient, letting him do whatever he wanted.
He felt a softening in his heart and pulled her closer to him, saying, "Okay, I'll do whatever Miss Star says. Now you won't be angry anymore, right?"
Hermione grunted, barely letting him go.
After tidying up their disheveled hair and clothes, Hermione suppressed the blush on her face and followed Draco downstairs to check out, pretending nothing had happened.
"Your matching outfits look great on you, and you two look so well-matched standing together," the receptionist said with a smile.
Draco proudly put his arm around Hermione's shoulder. "Of course, we're a match made in heaven."
Hermione's face flushed, and she secretly pinched his waist, whispering reproachfully, "Don't talk nonsense..."
After checking out, the two went into a Muggle breakfast shop. They had barely sat down when they saw two pretty girls at the next table being harassed by a slick man.
Hermione strong sense of justice, frowned and couldn't help but speak up, "Sir, they don't want to be disturbed. Please leave."
The man turned around, and his eyes instantly lit up with an alarming light.
Hermione was even more dazzling than the girl he had just been bothering.
He immediately abandoned the two girls, moved closer to Hermione, and said flippantly, "So nosy? Why don't you keep me company and talk to me instead of them?"
Hermione's face turned cold, and she was about to speak when Draco acted, silently chanting the " Slipping Jinx."
The man's foot suddenly slipped, and he almost fell flat on his face, looking completely bewildered.
After regaining his footing, he still tried to be defiant, but Draco silently cast a "Hearing Charm" on him. The man instantly lost his hearing, his ears rang, and his whole body felt goosebumps.
The third time, Draco flicked his finger, and the " Dizziness Jinx " landed on him, causing the man's vision to go black and the world to spin.
Three bizarre and outrageous events occurred in a row, leaving the man terrified and pale.
Thinking it had bumped into something dirty, it scrambled away.
"Did you do it?" Hermione asked.
"He dares to mess with my wife? He's got a death wish!" Draco admitted.
"Keep your voice down!" Hermione blushed.
At this moment, the two girls came over to thank them. The older girl smiled and said, "Thank you very much. I am Pheobe, and this is my sister Gabrielle."
Hermione paused, and after a few polite words, Pheobe suddenly looked at Draco: "You used magic just now, didn't you? Aren't you afraid of getting caught by the Ministry of Magic?"
Hermione was startled. "How did you know?!"
"My sister is a student at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic!" Gabrielle explained.
Hermione looked bewildered and turned to look at Draco.
Draco explained to her in a low voice:
"The most famous magic school in France, it is considered one of the three great magic schools along with Hogwarts and Durmstrang."
Hermione then realized, "So you're wizards too."
Gabrielle looked at Draco curiously again. "Aren't you afraid of the Ministry of Magic? Underage wizards will be punished for using magic in front of Muggle!"
"Don't worry, my family has connections in the Ministry of Magic."
Upon hearing this, Hermione secretly pinched him under the table and whispered urgently, "Don't talk nonsense! How can you just say things like that? What if someone hears it and reports it?"
Gabrielle, however, was quite straightforward, tilting her head and earnestly retorting, "Even if your father is the Minister for Magic, he can't just remove his Trace in front of Muggle, can he? Rules are rules!"
Hermione couldn't help but burst out laughing, her eyes filled with schadenfreude as she looked at Draco.
"You don't know this, do you? We're Britain magic students; the French Ministry of Magic has no jurisdiction over us."
Draco is trying to fool the children.
Gabrielle immediately tilted her little face up and corrected him seriously, "That won't work either! The Britain's Ministry of Magic and the French Ministry of Magic have a mutual assistance agreement; we can transfer your violation record there!"
Draco's smug expression froze instantly, while Hermione watched from the side, laughing uncontrollably.
I was thinking, "Let's see how you explain this now that you're so arrogant."
Draco was rendered speechless by Gabrielle's words for a long time, and then coughed lightly in an attempt to save face:
"... Even a handover requires evidence. My method was very clean; no one can find any fault with it."
"I saw it!" Gabrielle immediately raised her hand and said earnestly, "My sister and I both saw it. You used magic three times."
Pheobe, suppressing a laugh, gently patted her sister's shoulder, her gaze towards Draco carrying a hint of amusement:
"Don't think you can fool a kid. I'm a student at Beauxbatons, and I know these rules better than you do."
" Gabrielle isn't old enough to go to school yet, but she's been around me every day and has picked up a lot of things, so she's much smarter than you think."
"Did you hear that, Malfoy? Nobody's buying your act this time." Hermione couldn't stop laughing.
