Meanwhile, the shop owners had already launched their counterattack. Their fear was completely crushed by their determination to protect their homes, and everyone pulled out all the stops.
Aberforth kicked the wooden door of the Hog's Head away.
What he held in his hand was not a wand, but a polished oak cane.
The black crystal embedded in the head of the staff gleamed with a dim light.
"How dare you run wild on my turf!" Aberforth roared, waving his staff. A thick red spell shot straight at the Troll's shoulder armor on the left. With a "clang," the heavy iron shoulder armor was shattered.
The attack silenced the entire arena for half a second, and even the Troll let out a painful roar.
Aberforth gave it no chance to catch its breath, flashing to the Troll's side and pointing his staff at its forehead.
That was the Troll's weakest point; even with armor, it couldn't withstand his immense magical power.
Almost simultaneously, the door with Three Broomsticks was pushed open.
Madam Rosmerta burst out carrying two bottles of her special Butterbeer, her wand tucked into her belt. Her usual gentle demeanor vanished, replaced by a raging inferno.
"Try this!" Madam Rosmerta slammed the Butterbeer into the Troll's right face.
The moment the beer bottle shattered, she uttered the Incendio," and the alcohol instantly ignited into a blue flame, sizzling as it burned the Troll's hood.
The Troll swung its giant club in pain.
Madam Rosmerta nimbly dodged the attack, turning to shout at the approaching fifth-graders, "Use the Freezing Charm! Fire can soften armor, freeze it now!"
The entry of Aberforth and Madam Rosmerta into the war instantly turned the tide.
Both were top wizards who had been in the Wizarding World for many years. Aberforth's Defence Against Dark Magic was no less than Dumbledore's, while Madam Rosmerta was good at practical offensive magic. One was close-range and the other was long-range, and they complemented each other perfectly.
The Flume couple from Honeydukes came rushing out carrying two large bags of specially made " Fizzing Exploding Sweets ".
Amelia Flume used Levitation Charm to precisely deliver the popping candy into the crack in the left Troll's shoulder armor.
Her husband immediately followed up with a Fire-Making Spell.
With a loud "bang!", the popping candy exploded inside the Troll's body. The Troll let out a shrill roar and staggered back two steps.
The quick-witted Zonko rushed out carrying a basket of " Itching Powder " and a " Fake Wand," then cast Levitation Charm at the Troll, sprinkling the Itching Powder on the back of the Troll's knees.
The Troll stopped attacking, tickled, and frantically scratched the back of its knees with its claws, its movements becoming sluggish.
"Try this one!" Zonko threw out a few more Fake Wand, which screamed shrilly as they landed, making the Troll Fake Wand.
J. Pippin, to his left, rushed over carrying several bottles of pale green Potions. He fired them at the gaps in the Troll's armor on his right, Petrificus Totalus and slowing the Troll's movements.
At the same time, he threw the Potions over. "This is a paralysis potion! It will paralyze you if you get it on you!"
The Potions splashed onto the Troll's skin, causing green smoke to rise and further slowing Troll movements.
Lady Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop did not rush forward; instead, she used Doubling Charm to duplicate dozens of quill pens from behind cover.
Then, Ventus was fired at the Troll, and the quill pen shot like an arrow towards the Troll's eyes, forcing the Troll to close them.
Albina Whittle then plucked several thorny Mandrake from the " Magic Neep ".
After the Growth Charm was cast on the Troll, the Mandrake instantly grew larger, its sharp thorns piercing the Troll's foot.
The Troll let out a painful roar.
Rita Spintwich charged out carrying a top-of-the-line Nimbus 2001 broomstick. She flew onto the Troll's head and unleashed a Troll Confringo at its hood.
Stan von Krupp then took several bags of magical biological feed from the " Brood and Peck " and scattered them into the sky.
This attracted the owls and ravens around the area, which swooped down and frantically pecked at the gaps in the Troll's armor.
At that moment, Aberforth struck the troll between the eyebrows with his Troll, and Madam Rosmerta seized the opportunity to shoot Cruciatus Curse into the Troll's chest. The Troll's body shuddered violently and then crashed to the ground.
The Troll on the right had already been exhausted by the paralysis potion and Mandrake.
Draco seized the opportunity, rushing to the Troll's side with Hermione. Simultaneously, they pointed their wands at the core of the Troll's shoulder armor, chanting in unison, " Diffindo!"
"Clang!" The heavy armor shattered completely, and the Troll lost its support, staggering and falling to its knees.
Aberforth strode forward, tapping the troll's forehead with his Troll. A flash of red light appeared, Troll completely lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground, motionless.
From the shopkeepers' all-out counterattack to the subduing of the two armored Troll, it took no more than ten minutes.
The battlefield gradually quieted down, with only the sizzling of the burning embers remaining.
The students looked at the fallen Troll, then at the dust-covered shopkeepers, and burst into thunderous applause.
Draco gently wiped the dust from Hermione's face. "Are you alright?" Hermione shook her head, looking at the chaotic yet now orderly street, and smiled softly. "I'm fine. We won."
Ron, holding a few sunflower seeds, came over and exclaimed, "Mr. Aberforth is amazing! And Madam Rosmerta, that Butterbeer arson was absolutely brilliant!"
"To run a pub in Hogsmeade, you need to have some special skills. Otherwise, what will you use to protect your customers if the pub gets demolished one day?" Madam Rosmerta said with a smile.
Seamus, who had come up behind, looked eager to try. He rushed forward, wand in hand, and shouted at the armored Troll lying motionless on the ground:
"Behold my final blow! Explosion!"
A blinding yellow light exploded, and fragments of the Troll's shattered armor flew everywhere with a "whoosh".
Dean was standing right next to it when a piece of metal nearly grazed his ear and flew past, startling him so much that he flinched.
He covered his ears, staring at Seamus with a look of utter shock. " Seamus Finnigan! Can't you stop blowing things up for once?! I almost ended up meeting Merlin!"
Seamus scratched his head and chuckled awkwardly, "It was an accident, purely an accident... I just wanted to finish him off."
At that moment, Olivia raised her wand and called out in a clear voice, "Let's all use Reparo to help Hogsmeade return to its original state!"
The third and fourth graders' eyes lit up when they heard this, and they were all incredibly enthusiastic.
They may not be of much help in actual combat, but the Mending Charm is simple, fun, and can actually be quite useful.
One by one, they rushed forward, wands in hand.
" Reparo!"
" Reparo!"
Amidst a chorus of synchronized incantations,
Shattered shop windows, broken planks, trampled stalls, and scattered goods all flew back to their original positions in the silver light, and the street returned to cleanliness at a visible speed.
The shopkeepers felt warm and grateful as they watched the group of young wizards helping so diligently. Mrs. Flume thanked them repeatedly.
"Thank you so much, children. Hogsmeade owes you a thank you."
"Thanks to you all, otherwise we wouldn't have finished cleaning up until midnight," said Casper, the bookstore's scroll owner, with gratitude.
Wood waved his hand. "We don't want such a beautiful place like Hogsmeade to be destroyed by Troll either. It would be great if it could be restored to its original state."
The shopkeepers nodded and began to dispose of the Troll's corpse.
