"You can't escape!" Draco said helplessly.
"You just wait!" Ranrok seemed to have been pushed to the limit, and began to speak recklessly, using respectable words instead of proper ones.
"Fortune changes every ten years, so never underestimate a poor middle-aged person!"
"I will repay this humiliation tenfold in the future!"
"You weren't secretly reading Muggle novels!"
Draco, riding on the dragon's back, had a dark expression on his face.
"... Middle-aged poverty? Even Goblin care about this? Has your brain been burned by Fiendfyre?"
Just as the two were joking around,
Ranrok suddenly made a sharp turn, no longer fleeing outwards, but instead changing direction and rushing straight towards the exit where Hermione and Professor Babbling were!
It's trying to take hostages in exchange for its own survival!
"You're asking for it!" Draco's face darkened, and his joking disappeared.
The Rune God of War didn't even have time to turn his dragon head to give chase; he simply raised his huge left hand, which was not holding a sword, and aimed his palm at the streak of black and red light.
" Protego Maxima! -- Seal!"
Just as the ball of black and red energy was about to collide with the two, Draco pointed his wand forward sharply. " Protego Maxima!"
A solid, pale golden, translucent magical cube, like a cage, instantly solidified in the path in front of the black and red light, completely enveloping it!
The black and red light slammed into the inner wall of the magic cube with a dull thud and bounced back.
The cube wobbled slightly, but remained completely undamaged.
An invisible force, so powerful it was impossible to resist, acted upon the cube, and Draco pulled with all his might.
The cube was pulled back.
Under the combined effects of inertia and tension, the black and red energy ball slammed violently against the inner wall of its outer shield.
Ranrok felt as if he had been hit on the head with a heavy hammer, and he was instantly dizzy and disoriented, as if the world in front of him was spinning.
Seeing that Draco was about to arrive on his Fiendfyre, Ranrok knew that if he didn't fight desperately, he would surely die.
Despite its dizziness, it forcefully gathered its magic power once more, causing its body to surge with black light and transform back into a bone dragon with broken bone wings.
Then it suddenly spread its enormous bone wings, unleashing a piercing sonic wave that shattered the shield that was trapping it.
However, in the instant when its old power was exhausted and its new power had not yet been generated, Draco's rune sword had already fallen!
"Break it off!"
The sword light flashed like lightning, too fast for the naked eye to catch. Ranrok had no time to dodge. With a crisp "crack," one of its intact bone wings was severed at the root!
"Aaaaaahh ...
Losing its wings means that its skeletal dragon form has almost completely lost its mobility.
At the same time, Draco suddenly reached out with his left hand and grabbed the base of Ranrok's other flapping wing. Taking advantage of the Fiendfyre's momentum, he used his waist to throw it in the opposite direction like a sandbag!
Immediately afterward, before the bone dragon could recover from the shock of the impact, Draco tossed the greatsword of energy into his hand.
The greatsword drew a graceful arc in the air, and then, like the most accurate javelin, with a "thud," it pierced the severed root of the bone dragon's left wing, pinning it firmly to the thick stone pillar!
"Ugh..."
Ranrok let out another blood-curdling scream.
After completing this series of fluid movements,
Draco even had the leisure to turn around and wink at Hermione, who was not far away. "Honey, how was it? Was that combo you just did? Wasn't it cool?"
Hermione's face turned bright red instantly.
She urged, "Stop... stop being so cheeky! Let's finish this off quickly, what if it has some other tricks up its sleeve!"
Draco grinned and gave an "OK" sign. "Alright, my wife's orders are my command!"
Hermione and Professor Babbling exchanged a glance from a distance, both feeling completely numb.
Isn't something wrong with how this final battle is unfolding?
But then I thought about it again, and realized that this was exactly what Draco would do, so it made perfect sense.
The God of War turned back and focused his gaze once more on the one-winged bone dragon that was nailed to the stone pillar and struggling in agony.
He steered the Fiendfyre, slowly approaching.
Ignoring the excruciating pain, and seeing that all was lost, Ranrok's body disintegrated once more, turning into a weak ball of black and red energy, attempting to slip away through the gaps in the sword.
"Trying to run again?" Draco sneered. Having learned from his previous experience, he moved even faster this time.
The God of War raised his left hand again, his five fingers spread, and clenched it in mid-air towards the black and red energy ball that was trying to escape!
" Protego Maxima - Seal!"
Another solid, pale gold magic cube instantly sealed the ball of black and red energy inside!
Moreover, the inner walls of this cube seem to have some kind of effect that inhibits the flow of energy.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The black and red energy ball raged wildly inside the cube, crashing and rattling, causing the cube to flash with light, but no matter how it attacked, it could not shake the cage in the slightest.
Seeing no hope of escape, Ranrok could only barely reconstruct his dragon form, his remaining single wing drooping.
"Give... give me a chance..."
Ranrok's voice became extremely hoarse and weak, broken and intermittent, filled with a sense of desperation and humility.
"I've waited five years... five years! Do you know how I've spent these five years?"
"Ha, trying to outdo me with lines?" Draco laughed.
"Since you're so sad, then don't be sad anymore," he said jokingly. "Just go to the Underworld and reincarnate with King Yama."
"I'll fulfill a wish for you."
"Don't be Goblin in your next life, be a wizard instead."
"You—" Ranrok was enraged by this vicious mockery, his energy fluctuating violently, but even more so by despair.
"This is not fair!" it roared. "I just want to change the fate of Goblin being oppressed by wizards!"
"Why... why can you possess such immense power, while I... I can only be trampled under your feet like a dog?! This world is so unfair!"
"Fair?" Draco shook his head, a hint of mocking pity in his voice. "This world is inherently unfair."
"How naive you are! If the world is fair, why did you betray it?"
"What you've been pursuing has never been 'fairness,' but merely your own greed and ambition. Don't you find it ridiculous to use 'unfairness' to cover up your failures and despicable behavior?"
"..." Inside the cube, the bone dragon face that Ranrok had conjured twisted, only to find himself speechless.
Draco's words pierced through all its hypocritical pretenses.
"Alright." Draco slowly raised his free left hand, palm facing the sealed Ranrok. Azure light began to gather in his palm, emanating an aura of destruction.
It's time to end your dream of 'ten years east of the river, ten years west of the river'. Don't worry, I'll let you leave 'peacefully', after all, I'm a kind person too."
"Wait... I want to live..." Ranrok stared at the increasingly bright tip of the wand, fear surging back into his heart. His voice trembled as he made his final struggle.
