When Voldemort was hysterically refuting Draco, he wasn't actually paying attention to Hermione at all.
To him, Hermione was just a Muggle-born witch, an appendage of Draco, and not worth mentioning.
After venting his anger at Draco, his eyes swept over the two of them, noticing Hermione's suddenly pale face and her tightly gripped wand. A smirk of undisguised contempt curled at the corner of his lips.
" Miss Granger, it seems you're scared too!"
"Once we deal with this arrogant Malfoy, you'll be next, you Muggle-born little witch. I'll make you wish you were dead."
Draco stopped engaging in pointless verbal sparring with him.
No matter how much you argue about this, Voldemort will always find a million reasons to refute it in the name of his so-called nobility and power. In the end, it will only be a waste of time. He only said one thing:
"Do you really think souls are like cabbages sold at the market, something you can take as many as you want? Splitting your soul is going against the will of Heaven; the slightest mistake will result in your soul being scattered and destroyed," Draco sneered.
Upon hearing this, Voldemort was about to lash out when Draco abruptly changed the subject, shifting his focus to another crucial and fatal point.
"Stop with the nonsense."
"I'm curious, who helped you not only escape the Soul-Sealing Jar, but also retrieved Pettigrew from Azkaban, and finally gathered all the materials for your resurrection?"
Upon hearing this question, Voldemort's impending rebuttal instantly caught in his throat.
"You certainly know how to pry into things you shouldn't ask." Voldemort wanted to use this to completely destroy the boy's confidence.
"Since you're so eager to know, I'll grant your wish."
" Victor Young Rookwood."
Voldemort uttered a name.
Upon hearing this, Hermione's expression changed drastically. This guy had just colluded with the traitorous Goblin Ranrok to steal Ancient Magic.
Now this vicious dark wizard has colluded with Voldemort and become an accomplice in saving him from resurrection.
Draco wasn't surprised at all; instead, he gave a disdainful sneer, "So it's him. I just taught him a lesson a while ago, and he dares to cause trouble again so soon."
"What about Harry? Was Harry also hidden away by Young Rookwood?" Hermione asked again.
"She's quite a clever girl!"
Voldemort casually complimented Hermione.
Before Draco and Hermione could think for another second, Voldemort's Dark Magic aura surged instantly, all traces of his earlier playfulness vanishing, replaced by a destructive killing intent.
He slowly raised his Yew Wand, its tip gleaming with a brilliant, eerie green light that interrupted their thoughts, "Unfortunately, those who are too clever never live long in my presence."
The moment Voldemort finished speaking, his killing intent, like tangible frost, froze the air in the graveyard.
A fierce glint flashed in his scarlet snake eyes, and the tip of his Yew Wand emitted three beams of deathly light, almost simultaneously, each representing one of the three extreme forms of evil!
" Avada Kedavra!" A blinding green light, without any charging, shot straight at Draco's chest!
" Cruciatus Curse!" An eerie red light followed closely behind, accompanied by a piercing scream of agony that tore at the soul, engulfing Draco!
" Imperio!" The eerie blue light, like a ghost, attempted to invade Draco's mind and manipulate him into a puppet!
The Three Unforgivable Curses, unleashed instantly!
This was the Dark Lord's highest-level greeting to his enemy, and a display of his absolute confidence in his newfound power. He was going to instantly send this brat who dared to seal him away to hell.
Peter screamed in fright and scrambled backward. Hermione tried to rush forward but was pushed away by a force.
In a split second, Draco used Nonverbal Spell to give Hermione a push, moving her away from the center of the main battlefield.
Faced with this torrent of spells that could instantly kill any Auror, Draco raised the ancient wand in his hand.
" Protego Maxima!"
Draco waved his wand in front of him.
A pale golden magical shield completely enveloped him.
The three unforgivable curses—green, red, and blue—slammed into the pale gold shield one after another.
There was no earth-shattering explosion or energy clash.
The three spells vanished Silencio the moment they hit the shield, without even causing a ripple!
Voldemort's cruel and confident expression froze instantly.
For the first time, Snake Eyes showed an unbelievable wavering!
He stared intently at the slowly flowing pale gold shield, as if he were seeing something that should absolutely not exist.
The Three Unforgivable Curses... were... blocked?
So easy? So... complete? That's impossible!
Avada Kedavra is unstoppable! The Cruciatus Curse reaches the very soul! Imperio manipulates the mind! This kid... what kind of magic is he using?!
While fierce fighting was taking place on the main battlefield...
The battlefield on the flanks is equally dangerous.
After Voldemort launched his attack, Peter received a silent order from his master: kill the Mudblood witch!
Although Peter Pettigrew was terrified, his master's unquestionable will made him dare not disobey.
Taking advantage of the moment Hermione's attention was drawn to the main battlefield, he suddenly swung the wand he had temporarily acquired:
" Expelliarmus!"
A weak beam of red light shot towards Hermione.
Although Hermione's combat experience was not as extensive as Peter's, a seasoned veteran who had spent years in the underworld, she reacted extremely quickly and remained highly vigilant.
" Protego!"
The pale blue Shield Charm rose up, blocking the Disarming Charm.
Hermione immediately retorted, " Stupefy!"
Peter rolled to the side like a startled mouse, dodging the attack, while insidiously casting a Jelly-Legs Jinx at Hermione's feet to try and throw her off balance.
Hermione doesn't act rashly.
She immediately cast an Shield Charm on herself and used " Impedimenta!" to slow Peter's dodge speed.
When the two started fighting, Voldemort's main battleground stopped because of his shock.
Draco slowly lowered his wand.
The pale golden shield faded away, but an unfathomable magical aura still lingered around him.
Seeing the incredulous astonishment in Voldemort's eyes, Draco's mocking voice rang out:
"See that, Voldemort? This is a power you can never comprehend or attain."
"Times have changed. Your Dark Magic, built on fear and torture, is utterly useless against me!"
The term "brother," filled with contempt and age-based oppression, was the most vicious mockery, piercing Voldemort's extremely arrogant and twisted ego.
Beneath his pale skin, it seemed as if blue veins were throbbing.
The shock in his eyes was quickly replaced by overwhelming rage.
"You... you're asking for death!!!" Voldemort roared inhumanly, no longer holding back, seeing Draco as a threat that had to be crushed with the cruelest methods!
