"Impossible, you can't take him away." Selene drew her dagger and coldly refused. Even Lucian, the leader of the werewolves, had to personally capture him. She could imagine the catastrophic disaster that Michael would bring to the vampires if he fell into the hands of Werewolf.

Lucian remained silent, waiting for Draco's reply. Draco, however, didn't answer him either, instead turning to the man in the car and asking, "Are you coming back with us?"

Selene is here.

It's impossible to get any answers from Lucian.

"I'll go with you." The man got out of the car, Selene didn't stop him. Raze roared angrily, and Lucian stopped him again.

Draco nodded to Hermione.

After Hermione responded, Draco took Selene and teleported to the other side of the car, then left with the man.

Hermione also disappeared with Trillian, leaving the two wolf cubs standing alone on the empty, dark streets at night.

After seeing the group leave, Raze broke down. He lunged at the car, venting his fury. His sharp claws lashed out, the piercing sound of metal tearing shattering the night's silence. The car door was easily ripped open, as effortlessly as tearing a piece of paper.

He roared, ripped the car door to the ground, then turned and smashed the windshield with his claws, shards of glass scattering everywhere.

It jumped onto the roof of the car and stomped on it repeatedly with its claws, denting the metal roof with a dull thud.

Within minutes, the car was completely wrecked, with shattered windows, a dented roof, and crisscrossing claw marks all over the body.

Lucian watched coldly as Razor vented his pent-up anger. Once Raze stopped, Lucian said indifferently, "Stop venting now. Smashing cars won't solve anything."

Raze questioned Lucian's decision, saying:

Why not just fight those people directly?

"Maybe all they know is teleportation and object manipulation—just a few fancy moves. They might not be that good in a real fight. It's so frustrating to just watch our target get taken away."

Lucian said in a deep voice, "Their teleportation ability alone is enough to overwhelm both of us. They clearly define their positions every day, but they still lean towards our wolf clan to some extent."

"They only choose to remain neutral when humans are involved. If we really turn against the vampires, even if they don't side with them, we might not be guaranteed victory."

Raze quickly interjected, "Can't we still--"

Lucian interrupted him, "The plan has been disrupted. And now... we don't necessarily have to follow the original plan."

Just as Raze was filled with resentment, a beam of headlights pierced the darkness in the distance. The car slowly stopped beside the wrecked vehicle, the door opened, and a man with slicked-back hair got out first, followed closely by a man with shoulder-length hair.

The man who got out of the car glanced at the wrecked vehicle, looked around, and asked Lucian, "Where's Selene?"

Raze said with extreme impatience,

"Don't bother looking, they're not here anymore."

The man waited for Lucian's reply, and Lucian said:

"They escaped."

"You ambushed her?"

Raze preemptively spoke up, "She hunted down countless members of our tribe. What's wrong with us ambushing and capturing her?"

Kraven sensed something was wrong.

"I suspect your purpose is not so simple."

"Let's talk in the car," Lucian said. Raze's constant interruptions from outside the car were disrupting their conversation, so it was more suitable to have a private talk inside.

Kraven nodded in agreement, and the two got into the car from opposite sides.

Raze and the slick-haired man remained on the street. Raze glanced at the slick-haired man, whose expression was very serious, as if he owed him a fortune, with the corners of his mouth turned down. Raze, on the other hand, remained calm, because they had dealt with this guy many times before, and he was always like this, and besides, he wasn't one of the Death Dealers.

Inside the villa, Draco looked at Selene, who was still clutching her weapon, and said, "Miss Selene, you can leave now."

Selene was taken aback.

She thought she would be detained and interrogated, or forced to make some kind of deal, and she was even prepared to find a chance to escape. She never expected that the other party would so readily set her free.

However, Selene did not let her guard down, nor did she leave the villa. Her hand remained pressed against the short blade at her waist, ready to speak.

"What are you planning to do with Michael?"

Michael panicked even more upon hearing this. He had relied entirely on Selene's protection the whole way, and the Werewolf was still lurking outside. If Selene left alone, he would be left with only three strangers with strange powers in the unfamiliar villa. A sense of fear instantly overwhelmed him.

Trillian crossed her arms. "What's wrong with you? You don't want to leave, and when we ask you to stay, you complain that we're restricting your freedom—what exactly do you want?"

As she spoke, Trillian's gaze fell on Selene's hand holding the dagger. "Why are you touching that broken dagger? Do you think this thing is of any use to us?"

Trillian was acting like a witch, swaggering around, but she was right. After she finished speaking, Selene released her grip on the dagger. " The Werewolf ' current goal is to capture Michael. I don't know your purpose either, I can't leave..."

A playful smile played on Trillian's lips, "Even if I told you, what could you do? Besides, your dedication to protecting Michael isn't entirely out of pure kindness; you're just using him to keep the Werewolf in check. There's no need to portray yourself as so noble."

"You're right," Selene admitted immediately, then added, "However, I will still protect Michael."

After much hesitation, Michael cautiously suggested, "If it's possible... could you let her stay too?"

"I know she might have had ulterior motives in approaching me, but there's no denying that my safety is truly thanks to her. Without her, I would have died long ago from the wolf pack's pursuit."

"If you stay, you'll need to answer a few questions for us," Hermione said, seizing the opportunity.

"Okay," Selene agreed.

"Please sit down, aren't you tired of standing?"

Draco was already comfortably sprawled out on the sofa.

Hermione and Trillian sat down upon hearing this, and Michael also sat down, though somewhat reservedly, choosing a seat to Draco's right. Selene was about to sit next to Michael when Draco told her, "Go pour us some water."

"That's good..." Trillian clapped her hands lightly. At that moment, another idea popped into her head: if the young master accepted this female vampire as a level two maid, wouldn't she have someone to command?

Thinking about it, Trillian nodded to herself.

Hermione shook her head helplessly. This guy liked to deliberately manipulate people; she didn't know when he developed this wicked sense of humor.

Michael looked at Selene awkwardly, not expecting her to be troubled by Draco because of him. Selene frowned, her aura hardening, and her eyes clearly showing displeasure.
