"Put the gun down!" Lucian shouted in a deep voice, silencing the restless Werewolf behind him. His cold, hard voice carried an undeniable authority.

The Werewolf slowly lowered their gun barrels.

The tense atmosphere froze instantly. Draco stood there, a smirk playing on his lips. " Michael is in our hands. Even if you manage to succeed today and smoothly advance your plan, you still can't bypass Michael, this crucial link, can you?"

"You're right," Lucian readily admitted, then consulted with Draco, "So I hope you can hand Michael... over to us; we won't harm him."

"Sigh!" Draco sighed, a hint of amusement in his voice. "It seems you still don't believe we can help you?"

"It's not that I don't believe it," Lucian shook his head.

"We're walking a dark game, and we have to be prepared for everything. We can't afford to gamble, and we can't afford to lose."

Raze, unable to contain himself any longer, moved closer to Lucian and warned in a low, urgent voice, "Boss, we can't afford to waste any more time. The best window of opportunity is about to be missed."

Draco didn't intend to stop them, simply stating in a calm tone, "Since you intend to handle this yourselves—then our agreement to help you is null and void."

These words immediately caused an uproar among the Werewolf team.

Several Werewolf immediately became dissatisfied and angrily mocked:

"You really think you're something special?"

"Exactly! Can't we get anything done without him?"

"Don't think too highly of yourself—we Werewolf have survived for hundreds and thousands of years, we don't need another wizard like you!"

Listening to the furious howls and curses of the wolf pack, Lucian's face remained calm and composed. This was a grand plan he had meticulously crafted for a century, and he could not abandon this operation. However, reality was indeed frustrating. The initiative was in Draco's hands, and Michael was also in the enemy's hands. His current situation was one of being caught between a rock and a hard place.

Lucian suppressed the restlessness among the wolves, lowered his stance, and took the initiative to seek negotiation. " Mr. Malfoy, it's not that we don't trust you, it's just that six hundred years of waiting makes us hesitant to place all our hopes on a single cooperation. We hope you can understand."

"Alright," Draco waved his hand.

He stepped aside, making way for Trillian, saying, "Since you have your own plans, we won't stop you."

He had no reason to stop them from putting their eggs in two baskets, but unfortunately he arrived too late. Otherwise, he could have taken this opportunity to find out the wolf clan's entire plan.

"Thank you." Lucian immediately waved and led the Werewolf team to quicken their pace, rushing towards the mission location.

"Young master, what do we do now?"

"Either follow them and see what happens, or wait for them to come back."

"Then let's hurry and catch up!" Trillian perked up again, excitedly saying, "It would be such a pity to miss out on this juicy gossip!"

Draco shook his head helplessly, then teleported with her to catch up with the Werewolf pack. The Werewolf had all completed their transformations and were moving at high speed through the narrow, winding sewers, their guns slung tightly around their necks.

As she followed, Trillian complained, "Young Master, their operation this time was an absolutely foolish choice."

Why do you say that?

Draco asked with great interest.

"Because you're never wrong, young master," Trillian said with certainty. "You're the man who has perfectly resolved two cruise ship crises in a row! And those wolves, instead of clinging to a perfectly good leader, insist on taking risks on their own. What is that if not stupidity?"

"Everyone has concerns and wants to have an alternative, which is not wrong." Draco did not deny the werewolf's choice.

Trillian retorted rationally, "Young Master, you yourself said that this road is already half blocked. If we don't change the road or open up a new one in time, what is that if not foolish?"

"You're using your brain again," Draco laughed.

"No, young master, do you really think of me as a thief who only knows how to steal?" Trillian pouted. "Getting the target item requires a lot of thinking, you know!"

"Alright, alright, our little thief Trillian is very clever," Draco praised with a smile, then returned to the topic, "However, it's not necessarily one path."

"They might be two separate paths; without sufficient profit, they certainly wouldn't take the risk. Their plan might be to open one path first, and then gradually open the other."

After listening, Trillian suddenly understood and exclaimed:

"Young Master, you are truly a wise man. No matter what the situation, you can always make it sound plausible."

"Of course—otherwise, how could you be your young master?" Draco chuckled. "Let's go, the show's about to begin."

Draco and Trillian followed the elite Werewolf force through a winding sewer system, finally stopping at a vent where they could see a train station outside.

As night deepened, the Werewolf, like phantoms blending into the darkness, silently lurked in the shadows on both sides of the platform.

On the roof of the waiting hall, many Werewolf were also lying in wait, their scarlet eyes fixed on the direction the railway tracks stretched out. Draco and his companion found a spot with an excellent view.

The distinctive roar of a steam train could be heard in the distance, the rails began to vibrate, and a jet-black steam train slowly pulled into the platform, its locomotive spewing out white steam that spread outwards.

Inside the carriage, a man was observing the movements outside the window.

Several black cars were parked on the platform. The slicked-back-haired man who had met Lucian earlier was standing next to one of the cars, rhythmically flashing the beam of his flashlight three times in the direction of the train.

The man also picked up his flashlight and flashed it three times in response. Then he turned and walked to the back of the carriage, respectfully informing a noble woman sitting on a velvet seat.

The woman nodded slightly, rose gracefully, and walked towards the carriage door with four maids. The four maids were dressed in matching dark red uniforms, and each carried a silver briefcase.

Behind them followed a group of people, most of whom were dressed in tailored suits or evening gowns, with silver badges representing their family or position pinned to their chests. Two rows of fully armed bodyguards stood guard on either side, vigilantly scanning their surroundings.

The woman walked to the train door, about to step onto the step, when she suddenly stopped. Her nostrils twitched, her brows furrowed, and her eyes sharpened. "Warning, there's Werewolf."

The guards raised their weapons in unison, pointing the muzzles at the surrounding shadows. The sounds of safety releases were detonated in unison. Four maids quickly crouched down, opened their silver briefcases, and inside were neatly arranged sealed blood plasma bags and syringes, the needles gleaming coldly in the dim light.

A wolf's howl pierced the night sky.
