As the third day ended, Luna stood on the bridge, watching the holographic projection.
It's been two whole days, and there's been no sign of the Orks launching an offensive.
"Is the message not being spread far enough?" Patton frowned.
"Perhaps..." Wood hesitated, "They need more time to digest?"
Luna did not speak.
She didn't doubt the feasibility of the plan provided by Wolong Fengchu, but time was of the essence.
That damn Lynn could arrive at any moment, which is putting her under even more pressure.
"Increase the effort!" Having no other option, she could only try to speed things up.
On the fourth night, as Luna stared blankly at the space station, a sense of foreboding suddenly welled up inside her.
For a Tzeentch champion wizard, premonitions are no longer a mysterious thing.
Sure enough, the next second, a piercing alarm sounded.
"Enemy attack!!!"
Luna turned sharply and looked at the radar screen.
A huge point of light was rapidly approaching from the direction of Carl II.
Its size is twice that of the five-kilometer-long Rule of Discipline!
"What's this?!"
No one could answer her.
Because they had never seen such a thing before.
It was a warship, with a strong post-apocalyptic punk vibe.
Its armor is predominantly purple, and its length exceeds ten kilometers, more than twice the length of the Rule of Discipline.
Someone recognized it: a gigantic Orks Battle Barge!
It resembles a rampaging iron coffin, with a giant horned Orks at the bow.
It used its enormous, unbelievable horns as ramming horns.
The sides were densely packed with all sorts of hand-crafted weapons, cannons, missiles, laser cannons, and some other things whose names I couldn't even make out.
Its tail spews orange-green flames, which leave a long trail in space.
The ship seemed to possess the ability to teleport through the void, suddenly appearing on the side of the Rule of Discipline.
Wolong knew what was going on; purple represented invisibility among the Orks clan.
But it's too late to know now; the other person is already right there on your face!
Several Sword-class Frigate blocked its path.
The blue Void Shield intersected with the green shield field of the Orks giant warship.
There was no explosion or impact, only the mutual interference and melting of force fields.
The Void Shield of those escort ships melted away as quickly as ice meeting a raging fire.
Following closely behind was a massive ram.
The three frigates were hit head-on.
One of the ships was hit and sent flying, rolling and drifting into the distance.
Two unlucky frigates were hit head-on by the bull's horn, their hulls breaking in half and exploding into two fireballs.
The colossal warship continued its advance, heading straight for the Rule of Discipline.
Luna watched the giant beast approaching, feeling somewhat helpless.
She wanted to do something, but found that everything she did was in vain.
boom!!!
The ram collided with the flank of the Rule of Discipline.
The entire bridge trembled the moment the green shield field touched the blue Void Shield.
The piercing alarm pierced everyone's eardrums, and the data screens flickered wildly.
"Void Shield energy storage decreased! 87%, 65%, 43%, 31%!"
In less than a minute, energy storage dropped by 56 percentage points.
It took Rule of Discipline over ten days to replenish those thirty-odd shield charges.
The Rule of Discipline was like prey struck by a giant beast, its entire hull groaning under the strain.
The lighting system flickered a few times and almost went out.
Luna steadied herself by holding onto the control panel, panting heavily.
Before she could react, more alarms went off in quick succession.
Behind that giant warship, more and more Orks warships appeared.
There are at least five cruiser-class ships and more than thirty frigate-class ships.
There were also countless small ramming boats and shuttle boats, densely packed and haphazardly arranged, like a swarm of bloodthirsty wasps.
Their paint schemes varied, with yellow, black, blue, and red mixed together.
Their numbers also far exceeded those of the Orks main forces that had been crushed by Luna's fleet before.
Moreover, their weapons are clearly more advanced.
Those previously common, inaccurate, and broken cannon barrels have disappeared.
Instead, there were various crude cannons, rudimentary missile racks, and laser emitters whose principles were incomprehensible.
Although the accuracy and power are still very poor, it is more than ten times better than before.
They were already able to hold their own against Luna's fleet thanks to their numerical advantage.
A thought flashed through Luna's mind.
My Power of Belief.
After witnessing the powerful weapons and equipment of the human fleet, the Orks, through exaggerated imitation abilities and special force fields, began to imitate them.
They can quickly elevate their technological level to the same level as theirs.
Lynn's words suddenly echoed in Luna's mind; she gritted her teeth, yet felt helpless.
Two Lunar-class Cruiser led the escort fleet in a counterattack.
The main guns fired simultaneously, their beams intertwining in the starry sky.
But those Orks warships are no longer as easily destroyed as before.
They evaded while retaliating, using their numerical advantage to harass Luna's fleet.
The frigates tried desperately to intercept the ramming boats, but there were too many of them, and some always managed to slip through.
The Lunar-class Cruiser began firing their broadside light spears.
Thick beams of light tore through the darkness, shattering one Orks warship after another.
But the Orks warships, like their race, multiplied and grew stronger with each battle.
Luna stood on the bridge, staring Daidai at everything, lost in thought.
"Sir!" the adjutant rushed over, "We have to retreat! Now!"
She sighed one last time and followed her adjutant away from the bridge.
No one believed that the Rule of Discipline would emerge unscathed from this attack.
But what Luna didn't know was that the Orks she longed for was standing on the bridge of that giant warship.
Iron Claw Chandler.
It grinned maliciously as it watched her ship being torn apart piece by piece.
Chandler knew exactly what these guys were up to, but they would never have imagined his method of attack.
Iron Claw Chandler's waaaagh!
This can significantly enhance the effect of graffiti on war machines!
This time it chose purple, which in Orks society represents "invisibility".
Amplified by the Waaagh! Field, it can even evade detection by both radar and Psychic Power psionic detection of Tzeentch Cultist.
Approaching the Rule of Discipline silently, launching a deadly attack!
This warship is named the Mad Bull.
It is Iron Claw Chandler's most prized work.
Chandler spent a full year and two and a half months using three scrapped Imperium freighters and two captured Imperium frigates.
It was pieced together from countless parts salvaged from scrap heaps.
Its design wasn't based on any blueprints; it relied entirely on Chandler's "flash of inspiration" and the " Waaagh! " of his Mekboy young men.
Its firepower system was a complete mess; the main gun would often jam after firing only a few shots. Its range was abysmal; it needed to refuel every three hours at full speed.
However, it has one advantage that no other Imperium warship can match.
Big enough, hard enough, powerful enough!!!
Its length exceeds ten kilometers, and its armor thickness is measured in meters.
Its bow is fitted with a pair of enormous bull-horn rams, which were forged from a single, decommissioned miniature space station.
Its engine was modified to operate at full power only, with no intermediate gears; it either stopped completely or charged forward like a mad bull.
Chandler stood on the bridge of the Mad Bull, grinning maliciously as he looked at the Imperium cruiser he had rammed.
