In the room specially designated for graduation assessments, a gigantic milky-white virtual assessment pod lay quietly in the center.
Compared to the virtual assessment pods at the Intermediate Military Officer Academy, this one was clearly much larger. Shaped like an eggshell, it was not overly flashy, instead carrying a sense of returning to simplicity.
At the bottom of the assessment pod, the green indicator light was already glowing. Clearly, it had been connected to the energy tank and could be activated at any time.
Against the nearby wall stood a huge crystal screen.
Since the assessment had not yet begun, the crystal screen was automatically cycling through the Advanced Military Officer Further Studies Academy's motto, educational purpose, teaching philosophy, and other such material.
Unfortunately, no one was paying attention to any of that right now.
The room was bustling with noise. A large group of young cadets sat crowded together, keeping their voices low as they chattered away about the upcoming assessment.
Clearly, when this room had been built, no one had expected it to host so many "guests," making the space exceptionally cramped. The "stools" beneath the cadets were a motley assortment—some had been dismantled from classrooms, some came from the cafeteria, and some people had simply hauled over stones or logs as temporary seats. There were even people sitting on puppet arms.
These young people had all come specifically to watch the excitement.
