"I have to say, you two are stronger than I thought!"
Natasha and Pepper Potts were strapped to stretchers made of special fireproof material and watched helplessly as Killian injected another tube of orange-red liquid into their arms.
"This is a stabilizer. Although it's not perfect yet, you've survived the second phase. With this, you'll soon undergo your final transformation!"
Killian looked at the two women, whose skin gleamed faintly, with the eyes of someone admiring a priceless treasure.
" Pepper Potts, the woman who made Tony Stark who he is. If it weren't for you, Tony wouldn't even be able to support himself. After he invented that ridiculous metal shell, you once again helped him take charge of that vast business empire. He doesn't deserve you, Pepper. Compared to you, Stark is utter trash!"
" Natasha Romanoff, a top agent who has undergone brutal training in the Red Room, you are already above most people. You don't have that ridiculous armor, nor do you have any so-called superpowers, yet you still became a superhero, Avengers. Although the name is laughable, in my eyes, you are a hundred times better than those who possess superpowers!"
"Compared to you, if Qin Xiao didn't have superpowers, he's nothing, and he doesn't deserve you!"
Killian stood before the two women, his expression one of supreme authority as he assessed them.
"And what about you? You took advantage of us being injured in the bombing to kidnap two women. You didn't even have the courage to confront Qin Xiao directly, yet you spouted nonsense in front of us. Is that what you're so proud of?"
Natasha's expression remained calm, and she even had a slight smile as she spoke, a testament to the pride she felt when she mentioned Qin Xiao.
Before Killian could speak, Pepper Potts spoke up as well.
"You despise everything about Tony, yet you threatened Tony with my life to help you perfect the virus. Even if he takes off his armor, you still need him to stabilize your fire-breathing body, Killian. You lost from the very beginning, both in terms of intelligence and courage—you lost to Tony!"
"Shut up!"
Killian could still listen to Natasha's words with a smile, but Pepper Potts's words made Killian furious.
Tony Stark, that's the deepest thorn in Killian's side.
"I don't have his illustrious family background or the excellent education he received from childhood. I have nothing but my own hard work, and in the end, I can't even get a shred of pitiful dignity back. If we switched places, I could do a million times better than him, a million times better!"
Killian screamed hysterically, only to be met with a disgusted spit from Pepper Potts.

Killian slowly wiped the drool off his face. Pepper Potts's spitting had actually calmed Killian down.
"Keep an eye on those two!"
After giving a brief instruction to the person beside him, Killian turned to leave.
Just then, bursts of gunfire suddenly rang out outside. If you listened carefully, you could hear the increasingly dense gunfire accompanied by thunderous sounds.
Rhodey fired the first shot of the battle; he had just arrived when he discovered the president hanging high in the air.
At this time, United States Colonel Rhodey still had a strong sense of loyalty to the president, seeing that the president was not only suspended high in the air, but also being scorched by two huge searchlights.
Rhodey felt a pang of pity and immediately drew his pistol, shooting out both searchlights with two quick shots.
The two shots attracted the attention of the Extremis Soldier scattered throughout the area, who all turned to look in their direction.
Qin Xiao, Tony, and Thor simultaneously soared into the sky, launching an attack on the large ship from three directions.
"Damn it, I really miss my armor!"
Rhodey glanced at the three people in the sky, grumbled, and chose a direction to slowly break in and take the opportunity to rescue the president.
The president was suspended high on a crane. He ran from there onto the ship and was trying to slowly climb up the crane. He had no strength left to fight.
"Hey, can one of you give me a ride? I need to drop off the president and retrieve my armor!"
Rhodey glanced at the distance and said helplessly into the headset.
"No, Rhodey, your president won't die from hanging there a little longer. You just wait for reinforcements to arrive!"
Tony's voice came through the headphones.
Who knows when your reinforcements will arrive?
Rhodey muttered something in frustration.
"Hey! Rhodey! Look up!"
Upon hearing Qin Xiao's voice, Rhodey abruptly looked up. In the distance, a cluster of fire composed of dozens of jets of flame was rapidly hurtling towards them.
In just two or three seconds, the fireballs had moved from afar to right in front of them, each flame splitting apart and arranging in the sky into sets of armor of different colors, shapes, and functions.
Rhodey only glanced at it briefly, but there were at least twenty sets of armor.
(I honestly don't know how many Warframes are in this section, but it definitely includes at least Mark 15 to Mark 37.)
" Tony, is this all you do every day at that base in the sky?"
Rhodey stared blankly at the rows of armored figures lined up in the sky.
"Everyone has their hobbies! JARVIS, lock onto all those bastards with excessive internal heat, and make sure to distinguish between Pepper and Natasha."
" Heartbreaker, take Rhodey with you, and protect him during the battle!"
All of Killian's Extremis Soldier were on this large ship. The ship was huge, and the enemy was relatively scattered. Qin Xiao and his two companions had been fighting piecemeal while flying.
With the arrival of Tony's armored army, the two sides finally began a large-scale battle.
" Thor, you find the highest spot and unleash some lightning from the sky to support JARVIS. Tony and I will go in and rescue them!"
The extreme heat and self-destruction of the Extremis Soldier pose a certain threat to Thor, especially close-range self-destructions. Although they are not fatal, if several of them were to occur at the same time, even Thor would not be able to withstand them.
However, Thor's lightning has a deadly effect on these Extremis Soldier. Once the energy of the lightning reaches a certain critical point, each strike can cause the energy within these Extremis Soldier to completely spiral out of control, turning them into human bombs.
Stability is the biggest weakness of Extremis Soldier. Not only must they avoid external energy stimulation, but even excessive emotional fluctuations can easily cause them to overheat and self-destruct.
