Qin Xiao didn't know what the Ancient One and Odin had talked about, but it was definitely about the Dark Elves and the Aether. As long as he took the Aether, he could be safe.
But the most frustrating thing is that even Odin doesn't know where the Aether are buried.
His father had only told him that the Aether had not been destroyed, but had not told him where Aether were hidden.
Odin's father worried that future generations would do anything for power, and there was a consensus among both the current Asgard and Odin's father's generation.
That is, the Infinity Stones only bring disaster, so it's best not to keep Infinity Stones around. This is why Odin initially hid the Space Stone on Earth in the movie, but later, after the Aether, he gave the Reality Stone to the Collector.
Of course, this reflects Odin's mindset as he grew older; in his youth, he might have collected all six Infinity Stones and unified the universe.
Not knowing the location of the Reality Stone, Qin Xiao had no choice but to go find Jane Foster, whose body had been invaded by the Aether in the movie.
After Thor made a phone call, Jane told them that she wasn't going to London until the next day.
The timing is perfect; everyone can spend a day in Asgard to experience the exotic atmosphere before getting down to business.
An abandoned factory on the outskirts of London.
Jane drove Daisy and Ian, a new intern who had just joined Daisy's group, and the three of them arrived at this place by following the spatial fluctuations on the equipment Jane had created.
"Take your phase meter, intern, and come in with us!"
Daisy got out of the car with Jane and said nonchalantly.
"My name is Ian, Ian!"
Ian, holding the equipment, called out his name loudly from behind.
Jane, who was walking ahead, turned around and said to Daisy.
"You should remember his name. Don't tell me you can't forget that guy. He's really into that female agent. To be honest, Natasha's a nice girl, pretty, and a superhero. Honestly, I don't think you have any chance."
"Come on, you know my goal is to become a great astrophysicist, at least as good as you. Men are like ice cream to me—I want to have them occasionally, but they're definitely not a necessity. Whether it's that rookie intern behind me or that superhero, they're all the same to me."
Daisy said it with a nonchalant expression.
No sooner had they finished speaking than a seven-colored beam of light, about three meters in diameter, descended from the sky about ten meters in front of them. Jane and Daisy both recognized the beam of light; it came from the Bifrost in Asgard.
After the light faded, two figures appeared in the spot.
One was Thor, and the other was Qin Xiao.
Daisy let out an excited scream, threw aside her car keys, and happily jumped into Qin Xiao's arms.
She buried her head in Qin Xiao's arms and took several deep breaths.
"Damn, I love how you smell. For God's sake, you should spend a little more time seeing me. How long has it been since we last met? Two years or three?"
Without waiting for Qin Xiao's reply, she wrapped her arms around Qin Xiao's neck and fiercely kissed him on the lips.
Daisy released Qin Xiao only after a long, almost suffocating French kiss.
He said to Jane, who was looking at him with disdain.
"It's been so long since I've had ice cream, there's bound to be a little bit of longing, isn't there?"
After saying that, he turned to Ian, who was staring in disbelief behind him.
"You'd better forget everything you saw, or I'll mark your internship report as unsatisfactory, understand?"
Ian swallowed hard and nodded repeatedly.
For a student fresh out of school, the appearance of two Avengers was incredibly shocking, especially given their sudden entrance.
"Y-you... hello, Mr. Qin, Your Excellency Thor, I... I'm Ian, an intern working with Daisy. I... I mean, it's a pleasure to meet you all. I've watched the battles in Wakanda online, and they were absolutely breathtaking! I mean, I'm a fan of yours. Could we take a picture together later?"
"No problem, intern. A group photo is $500. We're the Avengers, aren't we? Of course, Thor only costs $100!"
Qin Xiao smiled and said to the intern.
"Ah?"
Ian's mouth dropped open in astonishment.
"Just kidding! Come on, let's go inside and take a look. After we've finished our business, you can take any kind of photo you want, just don't make me show anything!"
Qin Xiao patted Ian on the shoulder and put his arm around Daisy as they entered the factory.
Jane rolled her eyes helplessly as she watched her best friend sweetly clinging to Qin Xiao's arm, looking every bit the little woman, and then pulled Thor into the factory with her.
Just like in the movie, there were several children playing inside the factory.
When Jane approached them to ask what was so incredible about this place, a little boy pulled everyone to an abandoned truck.
Gently reach out and grab a protruding part on the front of the car, then apply slight upward pressure.
The truck lifted off the ground and began to rotate on its own at a height of about one meter above the ground.
"Gravity here has completely lost its meaning, and the spatial fluctuations are exceptionally intense!"
Jane looked at the instrument in her hand and said.
"You just said that this is Convergence, and that the spaces of the Nine Realms will be compressed together. My God, Erik's research is correct. He predicted all of this long ago. He even created an instrument that can completely eliminate the adverse effects on Earth brought by the other eight kingdoms when the Convergence."
Where is Dr. Selvig now?
Qin Xiao asked Daisy.
"Um... he went to Stonehenge to test the gravimeter, and ended up stripping naked and running around there. The police took him away; I guess it was because he got too hot running back and forth testing the equipment!"
Daisy covered half her face with her hand and said that although Dr. Selvig was her mentor, it was too embarrassing to talk about this.
"Alright! Let's take a good look at just how many unbelievable things are happening here, and then we'll bail him out of the police station when we get back!"
As Qin Xiao spoke, he reached out and grabbed the front bumper of the truck. With a slight effort, he flung the truck out of the gravity-defying area, and it crashed to the ground with a loud thud.
"Kid, this is dangerous. Next time you play like this, if gravity suddenly returns to normal, 'Bang!' you'll be smashed into a hamburger patty, understand?"
After watching the weightless truck, a group of children led everyone to the courtyard of a building in the factory.
Standing on the steps on either side of the courtyard, the children took out a can of cola and threw it down. The cola bottle disappeared through the air and then mysteriously fell back down from above.
It began an endless downward motion directly in the courtyard.
It was as if Qin Xiao had opened two portals, one above and one below.
However, unlike Earth, this phenomenon cannot last long. The spatial fluctuations here are unstable, and the other side connecting to Earth may be changing position at any time.
