Anyone familiar with the Marvel movies knew that Hulk had been weakened countless times over compared to his comic-book version.
But the fact that he grew stronger the angrier he became was something of a hidden setting in the movies.
It was just that the gap between his maximum and minimum strength was not quite so enormous.
And the 30% granted by the system's improved Hulk serum was taken from that maximum.
That was a truly terrifying number.
So when Qin Xiao struck at full strength, filled with hatred, a single punch turned a terrorist's head into an exploding watermelon.
Blood mixed with brain matter splattered all over Qin Xiao's face.
Qin Xiao merely reached up and casually wiped his face as though wiping away sweat.
Then he revealed a smile uglier than a demon's, showing several large white teeth.
"Get ready to go to hell, you scum!"
Those words sounded the overture to the slaughter.
Most of the terrorists and townspeople had gathered in the center of town.
With the aerial advantage his armor provided, Tony had already spotted the large crowd in the middle.
He flew straight toward them.
Qin Xiao, meanwhile, followed the streets and side roads, clearing out the scattered terrorists on the outskirts.
An off-road vehicle was parked outside the town's only bar.
Three terrorists were carrying out crates of assorted liquor from inside.
The bar's owner, a bearded middle-aged man, lay on the floor with a bullet hole in his forehead.
His wife clung desperately to one terrorist's thigh, letting out grief-stricken cries of fury.
The terrorist still had a little humanity left and did not attack the woman right away.
He shook his leg several times but failed to shake her off.
Then he raised his rifle butt and smashed it down hard on her head.
Thud!
Once.
Thud!
Twice.
A trace of blood appeared at the corner of the woman's mouth, but her hands seemed knotted together, clinging to his thigh without budging or letting go.
The terrorist finally grew a little impatient and turned his muzzle toward her, intending to finish her with a shot.
"Fuck your ancestors!"
A furious roar, a quintessential Chinese curse.
Whether the terrorist understood it or not did not matter.
Accompanying that furious curse was a fist that suddenly emerged from the terrorist's chest.
In his fury, Qin Xiao had not even drawn his Tang saber. His punch not only shattered the man's spine but burst through his chest, punching straight through his body.
Splat!
The other two terrorists were carrying a barrel of liquor when a piece of internal organ, reeking of blood, slapped against one of their faces.
Crash!!!
The barrel hit the ground, spilling liquor everywhere. Before the two terrorists could react,
Qin Xiao had already darted in front of them, looking at the pair still facing each other with their arms held in their carrying positions.
Both his hands shot out, each grabbing the back of one man's head and gripping tightly, hair and scarves included.
Then he abruptly slammed his hands inward.
The two terrorists' faces crashed together at tremendous speed under that astonishing force.
Bones shattered, and flesh and blood compressed and mingled.
Qin Xiao had smashed their two heads into one.
Countless fragments of bone and flesh were driven into each other's brains. They clearly would not survive.
Finally, the two collapsed with a crash in an inverted V, like conjoined twins.
Faced with such a bloody, violent scene, the middle-aged woman lying on the ground with blood at her mouth from the rifle-butt blows
showed not the slightest trace of panic.
Instead, she snatched up the rifle from the ground and aimed at the terrorist whose chest Qin Xiao had punched through.
She pulled the trigger.
Ratatat!
Bullets poured out, carrying fury and hatred. Although the recoil sent most of them flying who knew where,
several still struck the man squarely in the head.
They blasted his head into a bloody mess.
After venting her anger, the woman slumped onto the ground and stared blankly at her husband's corpse.
Qin Xiao sighed. Without offering any words of comfort, he once again kicked up a long plume of dust along the street.
He raced off elsewhere.
Viewed from above, Qin Xiao would have looked like a snake in a game of Snake, moving through the whole town of Ukoda.
He raced through the streets, meeting every terrorist with the most direct bodily impact and leaving them mangled beyond recognition.
The town was small, and with Qin Xiao working so efficiently,
ten or twenty minutes was enough for him to plow through the whole place.
By then, Tony had also just killed all the terrorists in the town center.
He was about to say a few words to comfort the frightened people.
Just then, Qin Xiao slowly emerged from around a street corner.
His clothes were formed from the system-issued combat suit and had not picked up the slightest trace of blood.
But the exposed parts of Qin Xiao's body-
his face, head, neck, and even his hands-
were covered in blood mixed with dust and scraps of flesh, as though coated in a thick layer of dark red mud.
His hair in particular was not only constantly dripping sticky blood,
but also had a fragment of bone caught in it, from some unknown part of some unlucky bastard's body.
He looked exactly like a demon that had crawled out of hell.
Some of the more timid children and women could not help screaming at the sight of Qin Xiao's ghastly appearance.
Qin Xiao stopped, somewhat embarrassed, and stretched his mouth into a smile uglier than a ghost's.
Showing a mouthful of large white teeth, he said to Tony,
"I'm done. They should have a base nearby. Let's make another trip!"
Tony could tell that Qin Xiao's emotions were even more out of control than his own.
But this was hardly a good time for counseling. He gave a slight nod, turned, and took the lead, flying out of town.
He had only flown a few hundred meters.
Boom!
A cannon fired.
Some surviving terrorists had driven a tank over from somewhere.
It blasted Tony out of the air.
An ordinary tank shell could not put so much as a scratch on Iron Man's armor.
Tony sat up and shook his head, preparing to take flight and hit the tank with an armor-piercing round.
Instead, he saw Qin Xiao leap straight onto the tank from over a hundred meters away.
Bending down, Qin Xiao thrust both hands into the joint between the turret and the tank's hull.
"Aaaah!!!!"
With a furious roar, Qin Xiao actually tore the entire turret off the tank.
Never mind the terrorists inside-even Tony was stunned as he hovered in midair.
His eyes stayed fixed on the tank's armor as he estimated how many blows from Qin Xiao his own armor's thickness and defensive strength could withstand.
After wrenching off the turret, Qin Xiao tossed it aside casually, leaving the barrel lying across the tank.
Only then did he wrap both arms around the barrel and jump down from the tank.
Then he swung the barrel at the tank.
With the turret attached, the barrel was like an enormous, oddly shaped hammer.
It was aimed straight at the tank's hull.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
