Qin Xiao helped Tony confront Ivan Vanko, then joined Thor’s allies in stopping the Destroyer and traveled to Asgard. He absorbed the Eternal Flame and the Fire God’s origin, learned to control his new powers, and ended the arc with Black Widow badly wounded by a missile attack.

• Qin Xiao and Tony formed the Illuminati, survived the hospital bombing, and searched for Ivan Vanko, whom they suspected of orchestrating the attack.
