The Myriad Races Black Market
My Second Sister sat listlessly in the meeting room.
Beside him were representatives of the Black Market from the other three races, as well as an elderly Night Clan member who had recently arrived at the Black Market, weary from his journey.
In the large conference room with the round table, only a few people sat on one side, leaving several seats empty.
The elder of the Night Clan said in a deep voice, "It's about time; we can begin."
As soon as he finished speaking, a phantom figure appeared in each of the other vacant seats.
They are the Grand Elder of the Blazing Sun Clan's Holy Temple, the Night Clan Council of Elders, the Grand Duke of the Cloud Clan, and the representative of the Intellect Clan.
The Night Clan elder spoke first, "The item was stolen on the road by a Demigod Level beast that spoke in Spirit Language, and there were others secretly helping them."
"It should be noted that the Demigod Level beast possessed the Blazing Sun Fire."
For a moment, the meeting room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and everyone's eyes were focused on the Second Sister and the Grand Elder of the Holy Temple.
The Second Sister glared at the Cloud Clan manager beside her. "Look again and I'll gouge your eyes out."
The Birdman reluctantly withdrew his gaze.
The Grand Elder slowly spoke, "It's just the Blazing Sun Fire; it doesn't prove anything."
"Who among you can guarantee that you're not Blazing Sun Fire right now?"
"Seven hundred years ago, the Holy Temple traded a considerable amount of Blazing Sun Fire with the nobles."
The Second Sister, her arms wrapped around her heavy conscience, said, "Maybe it was your Night Clan who embezzled and tried to shift the blame onto us."
The Grand Duke of the Cloud Clan said coldly, "You have no right to speak here; you're just here to listen in."
The Second Sister stared directly at the phantom of the noble elder, refusing to back down. "Father, Chief of the Blazing Sun Clan, if there's anything you're dissatisfied with, go and tell him."
With a "smack," the Second Sister slammed a Sunfire badge onto the table.
The Cloud Clan Duke's face turned ashen. "No manners whatsoever."
The Night Clan elder escorting the goods said, "That beast's Blazing Sun Fire is extremely powerful, easily tearing through my Nightfall Domain. This level of blazing Blazing Sun Fire only exists deep within the Blazing Sun Pool, and the Blazing Sun Clan has never traded with us before."
Representatives from the other two ethnic groups nodded in agreement.
There are differences between the Blazing Sun Fire of the Blazing Sun Fire.
The fire deep within the Blazing Sun Pool is far more intense than the fire on the outer perimeter.
Other Ancient Race all wanted to trade for the fire deep within.
However, apart from the Spirit Clan, the Blazing Sun Clan has never given any other Ancient Race any gifts.
The Grand Elder said calmly, "The most urgent matter is not assigning blame, since the deed has already been done."
"We've gathered here today to discuss solutions."
" The Myriad Races Grand Tournament will begin in a few days; we cannot afford any mistakes at this crucial juncture."
The Night Clan elder looked at him and said, "Solving this is simple; that thing split into three back then."
" The Night Clan, the Spirit Clan, and the Blazing Sun Clan each receive one share."
" The Spirit Clan will not participate in this matter; just contribute what your Blazing Sun Clan has."
"Furthermore, the resources you previously gave us in exchange for the Chaos Pearl will not be refunded."
The Grand Duke of the Cloud Clan said, "If the Blazing Sun Clan were to offer their Chaos Pearl for free, I would have no objection."
The previous plan was that the Night Clan would provide the Chaos Pearl, and the Blazing Sun Clan, Cloud Clan, and Intellect Clan would use corresponding resources to counter it.
In any case, the Cloud Clan only provides one portion of resources, and the Grand Duke doesn't care who provides the Chaos Pearl.
"It's not that my Blazing Sun Clan is stingy and unwilling to contribute Chaos Pearl, it's just... sigh~" The Grand Elder sighed, "Fine, fine, then the Blazing Sun Clan will provide the new Chaos Pearl, and we won't charge you any resources."
"I will immediately have the Holy Temple Army escort us. We will arrive at the Black Market in three days, just in time for the Myriad Races Grand Tournament."
There are spatial teleportation arrays between the Ancient Race and the Myriad Races Black Market, but the Chaos Pearl cannot pass through the arrays and can only be transported by manpower.
The Grand Duke of the Cloud Clan said, "Very good, the problem is solved."
The Night Clan elder nodded slightly. "Now that the Strange God has revived, we must unite closely together."
"This may be our last chance. If we cannot find a way to survive in the heavens, the War of the Gods from an era ago will be repeated."
"But now... we have no gods left."
The Grand Duke said, "With the resurgence of the Strange God, the Star God of that era will also be resurged."
"God wars are not something we mortals can participate in; we should try to avoid them."
The Grand Elder of the Holy Temple said softly, "In that case, everyone should go and make your preparations."
The four illusory figures on the seats then disappeared.
The representative from the Intellect Clan didn't say a word from beginning to end, as if he were blind.
The Second Sister, feeling drowsy, stretched and muttered, "These old folks are so soothing to the ear."
The elderly Night Clan member escorting the goods looked at his Second Sister: "As planned, I will stay behind to oversee security at the Black Market."
The Second Sister dismissed it. "Whatever."
With that, she got up and left the meeting room.
It was already dark outside, but the streets were still very lively.
As the grand competition drew ever closer, the elites of all races gathered here.
They weren't just after the grand prize; they wanted to explore the Land of Origin and find the answers they sought at its source.
The Second Sister frowned. "My right eyelid has been twitching lately. I have a feeling something bad is going to happen. I hope I'm just overthinking it."
The clouds above the entrance to the Black Market carried Bai Bai Qin Ze as they hovered nearby.
It must be said that Bai Bai's flight speed is much faster than Abyss Puppet's, reducing the travel time by more than half.
"Strange, I remember this is the place. I've been here twice. How did it become the entrance to a small world?"
Bai Bai stared blankly at the entrance to the Myriad Races Black Market.
Although tens of thousands of years have passed, the terrain and topography in this area have not changed much.
Everything around him matched the scene in his memory, except that the entrance to Chaos was gone, replaced by an independent world.
Qin Ze asked, "Are you sure this is the place?"
Bai Bai nodded. "I've walked this path twice, this is it."
Qin Ze connected this to the Otherworld No. Zero, where one world is used to suppress another, and the other world is the entrance to Chaos.
The Myriad Races Black Market likely serves the same purpose.
Qin Ze had previously wondered why the Myriad Races Black Market would choose such a remote and desolate location.
It turns out that this wasn't Myriad Races Black Market chosen by the Ancient Race, but rather something that had existed in this world all along.
Bai Bai said, "I've brought you here. What's your reward?"
Qin Ze replied, "You said you'd take me to the entrance to Chaos, but I didn't see the entrance to Chaos and you didn't give me any money."
Bai Bai's eyes widened. "But I already led the way for you!"
Qin Ze: "Where is the entrance to Chaos?"
Bai Bai panicked. "I... I don't know either."
Qin Ze's lips curled up. "Then I can't give you any payment, otherwise it would violate our previous agreement."
"My Lord Bai Bai, you don't want others to know that you're an eagle who breaks his word, do you?"
Bai Bai dropped open in astonishment. How could this be?
Having lived for tens of thousands of years, Bai Bai has now come to realize once again the wickedness of human nature.
"My life is ruined by you Human Race."
