Arc 26The God of War’s Inheritance
Qin Ze and Daoist Miao entered the God of War’s tomb, where Daoist Miao received the inheritance while Qin Ze absorbed part of its Source of God. The high priest’s corrupted faith turned the inheritance into a battle, and the conflict escalated as a spatial gate unleashed more Wandering Corpses.
- Qin Ze and Daoist Miao escaped the vault after Qin Ze’s entropy stones blasted open the road, then agreed to travel together to the God of War’s Divine Tomb.
- At the tomb, Qin Ze and Daoist Miao crossed the Corrupted ruins, met the high priest, and learned that Daoist Miao was the intended inheritor of the God of War’s legacy.
- Qin Ze and Daoist Miao endured the fiery passage and fought the Three-Legged Golden Crow, with Daoist Miao ultimately receiving the Source of God of War.
- Qin Ze absorbed a small portion of the Source of God, and the Divine Tree merged it into his golden Source before the God of War’s lingering thought directed him to the Land of Origin.
- The high priest corrupted Daoist Miao’s Divine Markings with black faith, forcing Qin Ze to break his barrier and defend Daoist Miao as the Holy Temple Army gathered at the altar.
- The high priest attacked the Holy Temple Army and summoned Wandering Corpses, while Thousand Faces and the Preacher arrived to open a rift with an offering of faith.
- Qin Ze and his allies fought through the Wandering Corpses and struck down the high priest, but the high priest sent his remaining faith into Daoist Miao, who unleashed a vast wave of Blazing Sun Fire.
- The statue opened a huge spatial gate and Wandering Corpses poured through as Dharma King arrived and the Preacher continued his offering.
