Qin Ze investigated the Ghost Type killings in Shi’an and uncovered Project Zero, a secret spirit-transfer program run by Black Mountain and Green Group. After rescuing the captured students, he helped them escape Cold Mountain while the clones stayed behind to face the pursuing forces.

• Qin Ze joined the Stars, reached level three, and traveled with his team to Shi’an for training, where he discovered a wave of unexplained deaths and investigated alongside the Daoist.
• Qin Ze and the Daoist exposed the Ghost Type attacks as part of a human scheme, and the Daoist traced the victims to Green Group and its Project Zero volunteers.

After surviving a sea-beast attack, Qin Ze and his team reached Thousand Streams Island and followed reports of a glowing light and a dragon corpse to Steamed Bun Island. There Qin Ze uncovered Wang Laoliu’s blood-sacrifice scheme and learned that the company’s deputy manager planned to sacrifice everyone on the island at noon.

• Fairy helped Qin Ze’s group defeat the middle-aged man at the research institute, and Qin Ze learned that Project Zero’s experiments had caused the hauntings before leaving Shi'an for Sea Capital.
• Qin Ze joined Xia Huai'an’s voyage to Thousand Streams Island, where the humpback whale sea beast Little White destroyed their ships before the Flying Circus Man rescued them.
• Professor Xu identified Little White and described sea-beast mutations, while Qin Ze investigated rumors that a glowing light and a dragon corpse were drawing sea beasts toward Steamed Bun Island.
• Qin Ze and Captain Hook sailed the Flying Circus Man toward Steamed Bun Island, fought off sea beasts rallied by the glowing light, and found the corpse of a level-nine Sea Serpent King.
• Little White destroyed the Flying Circus Man, and Qin Ze and the clones reached Steamed Bun Island, where they met shipwrecked sailors and saw sea beasts gather around the glowing light.

After winning the Hundred Schools Competition’s solo final, he and his team were trapped in the Mystic Dream Otherworld by Virgo, where Qin Ze prepared to reclaim its seized core.

• Qin Ze disguised himself as Wang Laoliu, recovered 4.6 units of the Source of the World from the light, and helped the Circus seize the manager’s ship and defeat him on Steamed Bun Island.
