Dinner is over.
Luca put down his wine glass and wiped his mouth with a napkin.
Outside the restaurant, Happy had already parked his car on the side of the road.
Luca led Gwen Stacy out of the restaurant, but they didn't get into the car.
He walked to the driver's side window and knocked on the glass.
" Happy, you go back now. Tell Tony I'm going on a very in-depth biological field trip tonight, and tell him not to leave the door open for me."
Happy paused for a moment, then gave me a knowing look.
"Okay, boss. Should I book your lower back treatment for tomorrow in advance?"
"Shit! My back is perfectly fine, solar-powered, you know?" Luca laughed and waved his hand dismissively.
Soon, the Rolls-Royce smoothly drove into the night and disappeared from sight.
Gwen Stacy stood under the streetlight, hands in her pockets, silently watching Luca walk towards her.
"A biological field trip?" Gwen Stacy raised an eyebrow.
"Is Stark Industries now venturing into the education sector?"
"Of course, I've always been a good young man who loves learning." Luca shrugged and walked naturally to Gwen Stacy's side.
"Let's go, we just finished eating, let's take a walk. I'll give you a ride home."
A gentle breeze blew through the Los Angeles night, and the streetlights twinkled along the sides of the street.
The two walked side by side on the sidewalk.
After dinner, Gwen Stacy gradually felt relieved.
Luca's promise to send people to protect her father gave her an unprecedented sense of security.
Thinking of this, she secretly turned her head to glance at Luca.
With Luca, tall and imposing, walking beside her, I felt incredibly safe.
Looking at the other person's outfit, they were wearing a suit with the collar slightly open, revealing their well-defined muscles.
Although this guy is usually talkative and unreliable, and a notorious Playboy, he's actually very reliable when it matters.
"What are you thinking about? Did you suddenly realize I'm way more handsome Tony and want to ask me for an autograph?" Luca asked without turning his head.
Gwen Stacy's thoughts were exposed, and her face flushed slightly, but she refused to admit defeat.
"No, I was just thinking, it's ridiculous that a billionaire like you would be walking down the street with me. If the paparazzi took a picture, tomorrow's headline would be ' Luca Stark goes bankrupt, homeless on the streets late at night.'"
"Then they are very wrong." Luca chuckled.
The headline should be. "Shocking! Luca Stark secretly meets with a mysterious blonde college student late at night; a new generation of the Stark Family genes is about to be passed on."
"You..." Gwen Stacy shook her head speechlessly, but the corners of her mouth couldn't help but turn up in a smile.
The two chatted casually like that.
They talked about everything from boring classes at school to Tony's embarrassing moments in experiments, and then about the breathability issues of Spider-Gwen- Man suit.
Overall, the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.
Before they knew it, the two had arrived at the apartment building where Gwen Stacy rented in Los Angeles.
This is an older apartment building; it's not luxurious, but it looks very clean.
Gwen Stacy stopped and turned to face Luca.
The dim light from the streetlamp shone on her face, and her long golden hair radiated a soft glow.
"I've arrived," Gwen Stacy said softly.
"I can tell." Luca looked down at her, a half-smile playing on his lips.
The atmosphere suddenly became somewhat quiet.
There seems to be something more inexplicable and hard to define.
Gwen Stacy gazed into Luca's deep eyes, and her heart suddenly began to race.
She knew Luca was a jerk; he changed girlfriends faster than he changed sports cars.
But she just couldn't help being attracted to him.
He was strong, humorous, and understood her.
"Um..." Gwen Stacy bit her lower lip, her gaze somewhat evasive.
"Would you like to... come up for a glass of water? I only have instant coffee and tap water at home."
Luca was stunned for a moment, then secretly overjoyed.
This Spider-Man, even its excuses are so clumsy.
However, being a Playboy with professional ethics, he certainly wouldn't refuse an invitation that came knocking on his door.
"Tap water? That sounds very tempting." Luca raised an eyebrow.
"Lead the way, Miss Stacy."
Gwen Stacy took a deep breath, turned around, took out her keys, and opened the door.
The two entered the elevator and walked to the room door.
Gwen Stacy opened the apartment door and quickly turned on the light switch.
The room wasn't big, but it was decorated very warmly.
Several unwashed clothes were still lying on the sofa, and the table was piled high with textbooks.
Sorry, it's a bit messy.
Gwen Stacy hurriedly picked up the clothes and stuffed them into the laundry basket next to her.
Luca entered the room and closed the door behind him.
A soft click.
In this enclosed space, the sound was exceptionally clear.
Luca took off his coat and casually hung it on the coat rack.
He was wearing only a black tight-fitting T-shirt underneath, revealing clearly defined, perfect chest and abdominal muscles.
He walked to the sofa and sat down, casually crossing his legs, his gaze fixed on Gwen Stacy, who was pouring water in the kitchen.
With her Gwen Stacy felt a burning gaze on her back, making her extremely uncomfortable.
She turned around, carrying two glasses of water, walked up to Luca, and handed him one.
"Give."
Luca didn't take the water glass; instead, he grabbed Gwen Stacy's wrist directly.
Gwen Stacy's hand trembled, and the water in the glass almost spilled.
" Luca..." Her voice trembled slightly.
With a slight effort from Luca, Gwen Stacy lost her balance and fell onto his lap.
Luca caught the water glass steadily and casually placed it on the coffee table next to him.
The two were very close together.
Gwen Stacy was so close that she could clearly feel the aura emanating from Luca.
Your heart is beating fast.
Luca wrapped one arm around Gwen Stacy's slender waist and gently lifted her chin with the other.
Gwen Stacy didn't dare look Luca in the eye and could only lower her gaze.
"This is Spider-Sense... it's warning me."
"What am I warning you about?" Luca's voice turned low and husky, with a deadly allure.
"Warn me... it's dangerous now." Gwen Stacy's voice was barely audible.
"Did it tell you that when faced with danger, the best approach is to confront it head-on?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Luca lowered his head and kissed her soft lips.
Gwen Stacy's eyes widened suddenly, but only a second later, she closed them again, her hands unconsciously reaching up to Luca's broad shoulders.
The kiss started off tentatively, but quickly became passionate.
Luca easily broke through Gwen Stacy's defenses.
The temperature in the room began to rise sharply.
Gwen Stacy felt like she had fallen into a fire, her reason completely burned away.
Luca's hand slowly moved upwards along her waistline, and the warmth from his fingertips made Gwen Stacy let out a soft moan.
That soft hum was like a signal to attack.
Luca stood up abruptly, picked up Gwen Stacy, and strode towards the bedroom.
The bedroom door was kicked open and then slammed shut.
Outside the window, the moon quietly hid behind the clouds.
The room was dark, with only a sliver of light filtering in through the gaps in the curtains.
The sound of clothes rubbing together was exceptionally clear in the quiet room.
One by one, the clothes were thrown onto the carpet beside the bed.
The mattress emitted a muffled protest.
Gwen Stacy felt like a lone boat adrift at sea, clinging tightly to Luca and letting him toss and turn her in the storm.
Luca's stamina is astonishing, as if he possesses inexhaustible energy.
Night deepened.
The reflections on the wall overlapped, constantly changing shape.
The next morning.
The Los Angeles sun appeared precisely on time, shining on the messy carpet.
Luca opened his eyes, his gaze clear, without a trace of fatigue.
After a whole night of intensive on-site investigation.
His body, far from being hollowed out, instead emitted a pleasant roar once again under the sunlight.
That's what makes him so domineering.
As long as there is energy, it is a perpetual motion machine.
Luca turned his head and glanced at Gwen Stacy, who was fast asleep in his arms.
Her long, golden hair was scattered on the pillow, and there was still a trace of tired tears at the corner of her eyes. Her breathing was even and long.
Clearly, last night's conversation was too intense for her.
Luca chuckled softly, carefully withdrew his hand, and rolled out of bed.
He picked up his clothes from the floor, put them on, walked to the table, picked up a pen, and wrote a line on a sticky note.
Breakfast is in the microwave. Your father's security team will be reporting to the New York Police Department this morning. Get some rest, my Spider-Man.
After finishing writing, he casually pulled out a black card without a PIN from his wallet and placed it under the note.
After doing all this, Luca opened the window and slowly rose into the air, welcoming the morning breeze.
"Boom!"
With a soft sonic boom, he transformed into a streak of light and disappeared into the Los Angeles dawn.
Playboy's code of conduct is to never give a woman an awkward eye contact in the morning, but to always provide her with ample money and a sense of security.
