Luca defeated Madame Gao and Black Sky, drained the Dragon Bone, and claimed Hell’s Kitchen’s underworld for Stark Industries. Meanwhile, Pietro took Thor to a New York bar, where Loki secretly watched and plotted against his brother.
Pietro caught Loki preparing to deceive and attack Thor, defeated him, and exposed his scheme, but Loki convinced Thor that Odin was dead and Asgard was in danger. Thor sided with Loki, so Pietro called Luca and invited him to deal with the brothers.
Luca arrived in the alley and exposed Loki's fake injuries, then overwhelmed him in a fight and let him escape. He comforted Thor afterward and offered him work on Earth through the Justice League.
After Luca defeated him, Loki found the Tesseract at S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Project Pegasus base and used it to escape, destroying the facility. With Hydra controlling S.H.I.E.L.D.’s headquarters and the Tesseract gone, Fury took the surviving agents to seek Luca Stark’s help.
Odin, Frigga, and the Ancient One discussed Luca Stark’s immense power and Tony Stark’s attempt to turn magic into technology. Odin agreed to provide Tony with Uru ore in exchange for future armor upgrades for Asgard, while asking Luca to look after Thor.
Luca examined how the Dragon Bone and Chaos Magic had enhanced his strength and transformed his living, loyal suit, then planned to expand Stark Industries into space. Nick Fury interrupted Luca and Wanda to warn that the Tesseract had been stolen and Earth was in danger.
Fury asked Luca to help recover the Tesseract, and Luca extorted access to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s secrets in exchange. Thor revealed that the Tesseract was the Space Stone, an Infinity Stone Loki planned to use to summon an invading army, but Luca welcomed the chance to seize it.
Luca treated Loki’s threat as an opportunity and mobilized the Justice League to prepare for an alien invasion. Meanwhile, Loki reached Knowhere, learned about Thanos and the Chitauri, and decided to offer the Space Stone in exchange for an army to attack Midgard and Asgard.
Luca and the Justice League searched London for Loki, but instead encountered Sersi, a woman who could transform matter. After Luca’s team rescued her from armed attackers, he insisted she come with them to discuss her powers.
Luca questioned Sersi after she used her powers to save civilians, suspected she was hiding a larger secret, and gave her his private number. After Sersi resolved to warn Ajak about Luca, he left with Gwen Stacy and Wanda to look for Loki.
Luca and Wanda secretly overheard Sersi report to Ajak and Ikaris that Luca had discovered her identity and warned her of an alien invasion. After learning the Eternals planned to let humanity feed Tiamut’s Emergence, Luca decided to confront them after dealing with Loki, while Sersi feared he could defeat Ikaris.
Luca conducted a late-night attendance check with the Justice League teams searching for Loki and the Tesseract, but their reports from around the world turned up no clues. After Thor suggested Loki was hiding in a filthy place, Luca suspected Loki had left Earth and began checking orbital telescope data and records from the S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
Luca and Thor discovered that Loki had used the Space Stone to leave Earth and seek an army, so Luca recalled his team and approached Sersi in London to recruit the Eternals as allies. Sersi agreed to visit Stark Industries in New York, while Luca prepared to return home with Gwen and Wanda.
Nick Fury accepted Luca Stark’s help to search for the stolen Tesseract and ordered S.H.I.E.L.D.’s remaining agents to support Stark Industries. Meanwhile, Alexander Pierce mistook the real search for a plot against Hydra and ordered his forces to hide while Jessica cut off contact with headquarters.
Luca gathered the heroes and explained that Loki would likely target Stark Tower to open a wormhole using its Arc Reactor. He ordered the team to lure Loki into bringing his entire army through before sealing the portal and fighting them in New York.
Tony Stark forged the Mark VII Magic Armor, which he called the Godslayer Armor, from Uru and Vibranium using Kamar-Taj magic. After the Ancient One effortlessly destroyed it in a test, Tony accepted her instruction and committed to further study before leaving the mountain.
Luca Stark turned a congressional hearing meant to curb the Justice League into a public exposé of General Ross and Senator Stern’s corruption, then pushed Congress and the White House to accept his proposed law enforcement act. The White House agreed to the act, leaving the Justice League poised to operate with far less government restraint.
After Luca Stark’s hearing victory made Stark Industries the government’s authorized superhuman force, he showed Sersi the company’s advances and strengthened her doubts about the Emergence Project. Ikaris attacked Luca at the base, but Luca absorbed his Cosmic Rays and challenged him to fire again.
Ikaris attacked Luca at the offshore base, but Luca’s suit absorbed his Cosmic Rays and withstood his physical blows. Their fight moved over Manhattan, where Luca eventually battered Ikaris into a skyscraper and left him injured in the wreckage.
Luca defeated Ikaris and discovered that the Eternals were robots powered by Cosmic Energy. He captured Ikaris and pressured Sersi to reveal the Eternals’ secrets, including how many remained on Earth and what Tiamut was.
After Luca defeated Ikaris, Sersi revealed that the Celestial Tiamut was growing inside Earth and would destroy the planet when it emerged. Luca secretly planned to capture the Eternals and exploit their powers, then sent the Justice League to South Dakota to meet them.
Luca Stark and the Justice League confronted the Eternals at Ajak’s farmhouse, where Luca demanded their cooperation and revealed that Ikaris had been captured and used as a generator. The Eternals resisted, but Wanda, Pietro, Hulk, Thor, and the others quickly overwhelmed most of them.
