Chen Mo, enveloped in a continuous stream of blinding lightning, sped across the wilderness dozens of kilometers away. The air crackled sharply from the high-speed friction, and the clouds beneath his feet, already torn apart countless times, were once again compressed into rolling white waves.
In just a few seconds, he rushed into the heart of the main battlefield.
Below was a patch of scorched earth, repeatedly plowed by artillery fire.
Collapsed trenches, burning tanks, and corpses strewn across the ground. Large numbers of German cyborgs were advancing towards the Soviet positions. Stormfront of metal fragments swept across half the battlefield, and dense shrapnel rose from the ground, raining down on the enemy like a torrential downpour.
On the other side, mental energy formed visible, distorted ripples.
Hundreds of soldiers lay in the mud, clutching their heads, their weapons slipping from their hands, incapacitated.
Yet, amidst this chaos, a man in a jet-black military uniform stood there ramrod straight.
He wore a black and red helmet, its surface riddled with bullet holes but without a single crack. A surge of golden and blue energy emanated from his body, instantly making it clear that he was the big boss of this battlefield.
Siegfried grabbed a Soviet Battleship Class cyborg by the neck, his fingers slowly tightening.
The cyborg gripped his wrists tightly with both hands, while his legs struggled wildly on the ground, only managing to dig two deep trenches in the soil behind him.
"Is this all the Soviet Union's Battleship Class are capable of?"
Siegfried spoke through his helmet, his voice low and arrogant.
"What an insult to the name 'Battleship Class'! I thought they'd be formidable opponents, but they're just here to clean up a bunch of trash in military uniforms."
Click.
Siegfried broke the neck of the Soviet cyborg.
Siegfried casually tossed the body into the burning pit beside him, then stepped on a broken steel beam.
"Your so-called super soldiers are nothing more than piles up failed experiments and give them a fancy-sounding name."
He looked up at the Soviet Mutants resisting in the distance.
"They're not on my level."
Three Soviet Battleship Class cyborgs charged forward simultaneously.
The woman at the front was surrounded by a blue aura, which exploded when she slammed her fist down. The man next to her grabbed a wrecked armored vehicle and smashed it towards Siegfried.
"Stop talking nonsense!"
The woman's roar echoed across the battlefield.
" Katyusha is almost here. Hold on for ten minutes. Once reinforcements arrive, he's doomed!"
"That's right."
The man carrying the armored vehicle gritted his teeth, "Everyone, charge! Don't let him get close to our rear lines!"
Siegfried raised his arm.
The golden-blue energy surged forward.
The armored vehicle stopped in mid-air, then was slammed back by the immense force. Two Soviet Mutants simultaneously punched, blasting the returning armored vehicle into countless fragments.
The woman in the lead burst out from the wreckage and slammed her fist into Siegfried's chest.
Siegfried did not flash.
As his fist landed, golden-blue energy rippled across his chest.
He didn't even back down.
The next moment, he grabbed the woman's arm and slammed her to the ground.
boom!
The scorched earth was smashed into a deep crater.
" Katyusha?"
Siegfried looked down at the woman in the pit, his tone clearly mocking.
"You guys don't really think that woman can make it in time, do you?"
He grabbed the woman's ankle and pulled her out of the pit.
"Your Glory Class have already been stopped by our people. The Mutants under the Black King's command have already set off, and by the time she arrives, all she'll find are your corpses."
In the distance, on the Soviet lines, a young soldier heard these words and his face turned pale.
"Impossible, Katyusha will definitely come."
"Shut up, recruit! We have to fight, whether we get support or not! Think of your kids back home!"
An old soldier raised his rifle and repeatedly pulled the trigger at Siegfried.
The bullet hit the helmet without leaving a single spark.
Siegfried turned his head to look at the old soldier.
"Fight? Don't flatter yourself, you mortal."
He raised his palm, and golden-blue light quickly condensed.
At that very moment, the abandoned artillery pieces on the ground suddenly rose into the air.
A dozen tanks with broken tracks were dragged out of the mud by an invisible force. The wrecked bodies slowly spun in mid-air, all turning around and pointing at Siegfried.
Young Erik stood in the center of a bomb crater.
His clothes were covered in mud, his face was pale, but his hands were raised high.
All the surrounding metal was trembling, and a few arcs of electricity jumped out from the surface.
"Let her go."
Erik stared at Siegfried, his voice hoarse.
Siegfried released the woman from his grasp and turned around.
"I know you, you little brat from the POW camp. You barely escaped with your life, and you still come here to die?"
Erik did not answer.
He suddenly swung both hands at Siegfried.
A dozen tanks and wrecked artillery pieces accelerated simultaneously, their metal shells groaning under the strain of the magnetic field. The next second, all the heavy debris was forcibly compressed into a high-speed spinning torrent of metal, which hurtled toward Siegfried.
Siegfried raised his arms, and golden-blue energy formed a semi-circular barrier in front of him.
The first tank crashed into the barrier and instantly exploded into pieces.
The second and third vehicles followed closely behind.
One piece of metal debris after another crashed into the energy barrier, Siegfried's feet gradually sank into the ground, finally causing a new crack to appear on the barrier's surface.
He glanced down.
"That's interesting."
Siegfried suddenly exerted his strength.
Golden-blue energy erupted from the barrier, blasting away all the metal debris. Several cannons disintegrated in mid-air, their broken barrels spinning as they hurtled towards Erik.
Erik raised his hand as if to grab.
The cannon barrel stopped less than half a meter in front of him.
Immediately afterwards, dozens of shrapnel and broken steel bars rose into the air behind him, spinning rapidly around him.
" Erik, you can't keep pushing yourself like this. Your abilities are about to give way."
A voice echoed in his mind.
Charles stood a short distance away, his hands pressed tightly against his temples, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
He did not engage in physical combat; instead, he focused on eliminating other cyborgs and attempting to bypass the defenses to enter Siegfried's consciousness.
"I know."
Erik responded in the mental realm.
" Charles, buy me some time."
I'm trying.
Charles looked up, his blue eyes fixed on the black and red helmet in the distance.
The mental energy was like countless invisible needles, continuously piercing Siegfried's brain.
But every time they made contact, they were bounced away by the helmet.
Siegfried seemed to realize something and suddenly burst into laughter.
You think we're not on guard against you?
He raised his hand and patted his helmet.
"One of the Empire's greatest achievements, specially prepared for you worms hiding in your brains."
The helmet surface shines with fine textures.
"This special alloy can block mental intrusion. You can continue to try; I have plenty of time."
Siegfried spread his arms wide, and energy spread wildly in all directions.
"Now, kneel down and beg for mercy from the Empire's greatest masterpiece."
Charles shifted his thinking several times.
Memory, emotions, senses, dreams.
The metal barrier blocked all directions, making it impossible to detect even the most subtle emotional fluctuations.
He gritted his teeth, concentrated his mental energy into a single point, and slammed it into the depths of the helmet.
Still a failure.
Erik saw this and slowly clenched his fists.
" Charles, stop trying."
"I can continue."
You can't get in.
Erik looked up at the sky.
All the broken metal on the battlefield was converging on him; tank tracks, gun barrels, shell casings, and steel bars were constantly compressed, forming a black metal spear that was tens of meters long.
I want to gather them all together.
He said this during a telepathic dialogue.
"Then shoot it at top speed. As long as the speed is fast enough, his defense can't hold it forever."
Charles remained silent for a moment.
"Will this work?"
How will you know if you don't try?
Erik raised his hands, and the spear, which had compressed all the metal on the battlefield, began to shrink further.
Siegfried also sensed the danger.
He was about to move forward when he suddenly stopped.
The already thin air above the battlefield suddenly emitted a sharp tearing sound.
The clouds were forcibly torn apart by a figure in black and red.
Countless blinding arcs of electricity cascaded down from the crack, like a thunderstorm crashing down.
A figure emerged from the lightning.
Covered in blood, clad in black and red armor, with lingering arcs of electricity behind him.
Chen Mo glanced down at the battlefield beneath his feet.
"Oh, looks like I've arrived just in time."
Charles abruptly interrupted his probing of Siegfried.
His body shuddered uncontrollably, his pupils contracted sharply, and the color drained from his face.
That spiritual force only tentatively touched Chen Mo, only to crash headlong into a boundless, dark ocean.
Countless chaotic memories, immense energy, and wails surged within it.
He couldn't even tell if he was hallucinating from fright.
Charles abruptly turned to look at Chen Mo, his voice trembling with extreme shock.
What is this?
He stared intently at Chen Mo.
"Have they reached the Supreme Class?!"
