"I told you damned insects to stop right now!"
Loki's piercing roar had just subsided.
A loud bang suddenly came from above the S.H.I.E.L.D.. base.
Boom!
The entire base was shaking, and the lights in the monitoring room flickered continuously. The night sky outside was instantly covered by dark clouds, which gathered without warning, pressing down heavily on the base, with lightning flashing constantly within them.
Steve looked up.
"Thunderstorm?"
"Captain, I don't think this is a natural phenomenon."
Clint looked up at the ceiling, his expression gradually changing.
Something seems to be approaching at high speed.
Before the words were finished, a thick bolt of lightning crashed down from the clouds.
The alloy dome of the S.H.I.E.L.D.. base was instantly blown apart.
Fragments flew in all directions, and the strong gusts of wind simultaneously threw several people in the corridor into the air. Steve shielded his face with his shield, Natasha rolled over to hide against the wall, and Clint desperately protected the bow in his hand.
Chen Mo picked up the walkie-talkie, his tone perfectly calm.
"Attention everyone, the plan is entering its second phase. Regular agents are beginning their evacuation."
Thor lay in a pool of blood, struggling to lift his head.
He saw the bolt of lightning descend from the sky.
Amidst the lightning, a silver, short-handled warhammer, crackling with violent electricity, pierced through the shattered dome and plunged straight into the base.
Thor's breath caught in his throat for a moment.
Mjolnir!
His eyes lit up again, and an incredulous smile appeared on his blood-stained face.
"Father..."
He braced himself against the ground and struggled to raise his arms.
"Have you finally decided to forgive me?"
Mjolnir did not answer.
It sped up, Luffy Thor's rear.
Thor remained in the outstretched position, his smile gradually freezing as he watched helplessly as the warhammer flew over his head, crashing into the cell with a shower of lightning.
"Etc..."
boom!
The transparent wall shattered on the spot.
The bulletproof glass shattered into countless pieces, and the powerful Shockwave pushed Loki backward. The binding rings broke simultaneously in the lightning, falling to the ground with a crisp sound.
Thor stared blankly at the scene.
The cell he had just desperately tried to open but failed was smashed to pieces by Mjolnir's hammer.
But that's not the point.
The key question is, why didn't Mjolnir come to find him?
What does it mean that it went to find Loki?
The warhammer pierced through the shattered glass and stopped in front of Loki.
Loki looked down at Mjolnir, a hint of confusion flashing across his angry face.
He certainly recognized the hammer.
This is Thor's weapon, and one of the most powerful artifacts in Asgard.
But why did it appear in front of me?
Ignoring Thor, who was standing on the ground with his hand outstretched in longing, Loki instinctively reached out and grasped the hammer handle.
The moment the fingertip touched the hammer handle, all the lightning in the entire base suddenly converged.
A blinding electric current engulfed Loki.
" Loki!"
Thor let out a roar.
Steve and his two companions simultaneously raised their weapons, watching warily as the situation inside the cell changed.
The lightning flashed for a few seconds.
Then, all the sound disappeared.
Loki stood in the broken cell, clutching Mjolnir in his hand.
The tattered black robe had vanished, replaced by a set of silver armor. The armor covered his chest, shoulders, and arms, its surface adorned with ancient patterns, and tiny electric sparks crackled along its edges.
His wound has stopped bleeding.
Her long golden hair fell over her shoulders, and her pale face was completely bloodless.
Loki looked down at his hands, then at the warhammer in them.
"This is..."
He tried to wave it.
boom!
A bolt of lightning exploded from the Hammerhead, striking the end of the corridor with tremendous force. A huge crater was blasted into the alloy wall, and the alarm sounded again.
Loki slowly raised his head.
He looked at his armor, his eyes shifting from confusion to shock, and finally to undisguised excitement.
I picked it up.
Loki was overjoyed. The loveless child suddenly realized that his father still loved him, and perhaps his blue skin was just a curse from the enemy?
Steve stared at the warhammer in Loki's hand and slowly raised his shield.
Natasha turned to look at Clint.
Do you consider this part of the plan?
"I have no idea."
Clint tightened his grip on the bow handle.
"But I think we should stay away from him first; just looking at him makes me feel suffocated."
Loki took a step.
The silver combat boots clattered across the broken glass. The magic that had been suppressed within him returned, and lightning surged through his armor.
He glanced at Steve and the other two outside the cell, a slow smile spreading across his face.
"Who just said it was over?"
Steve paused for a moment, then raised his shield again.
"Everyone, prepare for battle!"
Loki lifted Mjolnir.
"You mortals, how dare you harm the brother of the Prince of Asgard!"
Steve: "The prince's brother? That's a strange prefix. Isn't he the crown prince?"
"Shut up!"
Loki swung his warhammer.
A gust of wind, carrying lightning, rushed out, and Steve and his two companions dodged to the sides. The lightning grazed their bodies as it struck, causing the ground to explode instantly.
Inside the monitoring room.
Tony stood in front of the screen, his expression completely frozen.
He slowly turned his head and looked at Chen Mo beside him.
"You knew all along that he could lift the hammer?"
"Know."
You also knew he would wear armor?
I roughly know.
"Then why didn't you tell me beforehand?"
Chen Mo sat in front of the monitoring station, picked up a piece of chocolate and put it in his mouth.
"After I tell you, will you still cooperate in the act?"
Tony pointed at the screen.
"This is acting? We almost killed Thor just now, and now we've unleashed a Bambi the Deer with an electric hammer!"
"Don't get agitated."
Chen Mo looked at Loki on the screen, his expression completely calm.
The plan is progressing smoothly.
Fury stared at him.
What are your plans?
"Stimulate Thor's awakening."
" Loki is awakening now."
"No problem."
Chen Mo spread his hands.
"It doesn't matter which of the two brothers awakens."
"Same as everyone else!"
Tony nearly threw his coffee at his face.
"Can you be serious?! There's a huge difference!"
Chen Mo did not answer.
He looked down the corridor.
Thor was still lying in a pool of blood, completely oblivious to the pain he was enduring. His eyes were wide open, staring intently at Loki, who was clad in silver armor, in the cell.
The younger brother was holding Mjolnir as he walked out of the cell.
Lightning struck his shoulder.
Loki raised his chin, regaining his usual arrogance.
"Brother, you look like you need help."
Thor opened his mouth.
He glanced at Loki, then at Mjolnir in Loki's hand.
After a long while, he asked, his lips trembling:
Did you grab the wrong hammer?
Faraway Asgard.
Deep within the Golden Palace, Odin lay on a couch beside the throne, fast asleep.
Suddenly, his eyelids twitched violently a few times.
A strong sense of unease rose from the bottom of my heart.
Odin suddenly opened his eyes.
"Not good."
