The next morning, everyone at the base was busy.

The old firearms needed repair, a batch of brand-new stock was taken out and carefully inspected, the vehicles were reinforced one by one, and several old prosthetic repair machines were put into operation at the same time to check the condition of everyone's prosthetics.

The wall that was originally covered with speakers and decorations has been cleaned up, and a new map has been placed on it, densely marked with the various surveillance points of Night City.

Chen Mo stood in front of the map, staring at the 372 red dots, his head gradually began to ache.

"No? You've been preparing for over a decade, and all you've marked are these red dots?"

The Joker held a metal rod and pointed it intently at the map.

"In fact, these are just the visible points; there are definitely many more hidden ones, but we are still investigating."

"Damn, you've been investigating for over a decade and you still haven't finished?"

"Firstly, our strength is too weak, but fortunately we have you now."

The Joker spoke very sincerely.

"Secondly, we simply don't have enough funds, and our equipment is too outdated. In many places, we have no way to deal with the other side."

Chen Mo nodded.

"I see. So you weren't without a plan, you were just too weak."

V walked over from the side, carrying two pistols.

"Stop talking nonsense, boss. Our first target is the District Nine underground transportation hub. They're responsible for collecting data from all the identity chips in the outer district. We need to destroy that place."

"Hmm, what happens after it's destroyed?"

"After this area is destroyed, according to our calculations, Nite Owl should temporarily lose surveillance of the outer area."

Harley Quinn, carrying a medical kit, followed behind her and added, "This will probably last twenty to thirty minutes."

Chen Mo turned his head.

"Just twenty minutes?"

"If we're lucky, it might take thirty minutes."

"That's something to celebrate; we don't even have to worry about what if we're unlucky."

The Joker picked up the mask from the table and put it back on.

"Don't worry, as long as you can disconnect several nodes in a row, even if Nite Owl's surveillance network has many backups and plans, it will definitely have vulnerabilities."

"Then you take advantage of the widening loopholes and launch a city-wide uprising?"

"That's right."

Chen Mo looked at the map, then reached out and pressed his hand on the location of District Nine.

An invisible force of thought emanated from him, instantly enveloping the city.

A few seconds later, the structure of this underground transportation hub was immediately imprinted in his mind.

Entrance, ventilation ducts, power lines, number of guards, backup power supply.

V looked at Chen Mo, somewhat puzzled, wondering why he had stopped so suddenly.

Dude? Are you okay?

"I'm looking at a map, don't interrupt."

"You're looking with your hands?"

"Ah, V, a pitifully thick barrier has already separated me from mortals like you."

V stared at him, gritted his teeth, and ultimately, considering he couldn't beat him at all, chose to win mentally.

The Joker reached out and patted Chen Mo on the shoulder.

"Shall we set off?"

Chen Mo glanced at him.

"Let's go straight there? Didn't you say before that we needed to make a detailed plan?"

"After careful consideration, the plan has been finalized."

The Joker pointed to the map that Chen Mo was holding down.

"The plan now is, we'll get here, you get off, and that's it."

A modified underground transport vehicle quickly drove onto a road, simply crashed into a flying motorcycle, and then merged into the local traffic.

There were a dozen or so Joker Gang members sitting in the carriage, all clutching weapons and looking tense.

Chen Mo sat at the very front, next to V and the Joker.

Harley Quinn was organizing medical supplies at the back of the carriage.

She would glance up at Chen Mo every now and then, then look down again and fiddle with the scalpel in her hand.

"I'm a little curious, why have you been staring at me like that?"

Chen Mo suddenly spoke.

Harley Quinn tilted her head and blinked.

"I was thinking, if you get hurt later, where should I start stitching?"

"Don't worry, I'm usually not injured."

"What if you get killed?"

"Then there's no need to sew it up, just bury it directly."

Harley Quinn nodded in satisfaction.

"You're a very good patient; you know exactly how not to cause trouble for the doctor!"

The transport vehicle stopped at an abandoned platform.

As soon as everyone got off the car, they heard a mechanical whirring sound overhead.

Dozens of red scanning beams pierced the darkness and landed on them simultaneously.

V immediately raised his gun.

"Damn it! We've been found out!"

"It's a small matter, no need to be nervous."

Chen Mo raised his hand.

A dark red substance spread from his palm, drilling into the surrounding lines along the ground.

The next second, all the scanning beams went out simultaneously.

The mechanical sounds coming from afar also stopped.

The Joker Gang members exchanged bewildered glances.

Is that all?

Chen Mo had already walked deeper into the passage.

"Don't just stand there, keep up."

He quickly chased after them.

What exactly are you planning to do?

"Go in and dismantle what's inside."

"It's that simple?"

"What else? I'll write a speech first, sharing my experiences and insights while doing this?"

At the end of the underground passage is a blast-proof door covered with silver wiring.

The door bears the black logo of the Nite Owl Consortium, with a line of smaller text next to it.

Unauthorized entry is prohibited.

Chen Mo raised his foot and kicked it.

The heavy blast-proof door caved inward on the spot and then collapsed with a crash.

The guards behind the door had just raised their weapons when Blacklight rose from beneath their feet.

There were no gunshots.

There were no screams.

More than a dozen guards were simultaneously pierced by black and red spikes, their bodies quickly shriveling up.

Chen Mo walked past them, and the Blacklight casually devoured all the corpses.

The Joker Gang followed behind, their expressions increasingly complicated.

They had been preparing for over a decade, only to have Chen Mo kick open the first door.

This suddenly gave them a strong sense of frustration.

Soon, the group arrived at the data center.

Inside the enormous circular server room, hundreds of servers were running, cool air blasted from the floor, and data streams from the identity chips scrolled continuously on a semi-transparent screen.

Just as Chen Mo was about to make his move, the central screen suddenly lit up.

A pattern of a black crystal appears in the center of the image.

The Joker stopped in his tracks.

"Wait? He's here?!"

Chen Mo narrowed his eyes.

The black crystal slowly rotated, and a manipulated, sinister laugh emanated from the screen.

"Of course I'm here. We've finally met, Chen Mo."

As soon as the sound ended, all servers started up simultaneously.

Countless red eyes opened from the darkness, and the mechanical walls of the entire data center began to unfold outwards.

The Joker raised his weapon.

"What? This is a trap?"

As Chen Mo stared at the black crystal on the screen, the smile on his face gradually turned cold.

"No."

He raised his hand, and a black and red net quickly spread out along the ground.

"This was a welcome ceremony he specially prepared for me."

The sound from the screen rang out again.

" Chen Mo, you're slower than I expected."

"I've been waiting for you for a long time."
