Clark listened to Chen Mo's words with disbelief, and subconsciously nodded.
Before he could ask anything more, Chen Mo had already raised his right hand.
A dozen slender, dark red tentacles shot out from Chen Mo's fingertips, instantly piercing the bodies of the Krypton People hanging in the air.
Dark red viral tentacles were faintly visible beneath the skin of several Krypton People.
Once inside the human body, the Blacklight Virus was like a second home, easily tearing open the cell walls and massively replicating and recording the Krypton People gene fragments while simultaneously cutting off and sealing off all the gene fragments that could activate superpowers during the packaging process.
It's roughly equivalent to giving these aliens a permanent genetic sterilization.
The entire process took less than a minute.
Chen Mo slowly withdrew his hand, the few strands of black viscous liquid remaining on his fingertips evaporating into the air.
Big Super is just too pretentious. If it weren't for the fact that keeping these people around could still create some residual value in maintaining his personal image, he would have swallowed them all like appetizers long ago.
"Alright."
Chen Mo casually picked up a clean bamboo skewer from the table and picked his teeth, then pointed to the few people still swaying in the wind under the streetlights. "Their surgeries were all successful. Now, even if they moved to Taiyang, it wouldn't make a difference; at most, they'd save the cremation step."
Clark had just snapped out of his daze at Chen Mo's decisive actions when he heard that it was all settled. He stood up in disbelief and walked a few steps to Faora's side, who was still in mid-air.
He carefully extended his fingers and pinched Faora's arm with minimal force.
It lacks that indestructible firmness; the muscle fibers are soft and fluffy, and it even lacks the most basic bio-force field protection.
This is exactly the body of an ordinary human being on Earth, even somewhat over-engorged with blood.
"It's really... shut down?"
Clark stammered for a moment, then turned to look at Chen Mo. He knew Chen Mo was very strong, but this ability was just too convenient!
"Otherwise what? Remember to put them down, they might die if they stay congested with blood for too long."
Chen Mo rolled her eyes at him. "If anyone causes trouble again, just send them here. I'll teach them a lesson they'll learn."
For a moment, Clark didn't know what to say, so he could only chuckle awkwardly and put down his fellow villagers.
At least, it's all good news, right?
Bruce, who had been observing everything from the rear, finally spoke up after seeing that the biggest threat had been completely eliminated.
"Now that Clark's problem is solved, it's time to talk about what's next."
Bruce crossed his arms, and his deep, husky voice immediately energized Chen Mo: "This crisis exposed the weakness of Earth's defense system. Whether it's alien warlords or those mutated monsters, Earth's conventional forces are utterly vulnerable in the face of them."
He paused, his gaze sweeping over the people present.
"We cannot always entrust the survival of the Earth to some uncontrollable blessing."
As he said this, his peripheral vision unabashedly fell on Chen Mo.
Barry quickly stuffed some more biscuits into his mouth to stop himself from accidentally agreeing with Batman.
Bruce ignored the reactions of others and continued to present his long-conceived proposal.
"I propose that all of you take the lead in forming a permanent defense alliance."
He calmly cast out the bait. "A joint organization independent of national governments, capable of responding effectively at the first sign of a new crisis."
Clark pondered for a moment, then nodded seriously.
"I think you're right, and by pooling everyone's strength like this, we'll definitely be able to do better next time we face a crisis."
Hal didn't object, but simply twirled the Green Lantern Ring in his hand, displaying an indifferent, boss-like demeanor, though he couldn't suppress the smirk playing on his lips.
Diana remained silent, but did not show any resistance.
What Bruce truly cared about was Chen Mo's attitude.
He hoped to bring Chen Mo, this completely extraordinary and almost irresistible force, into a framework where his actions could be observed.
Even if this framework can only provide the most basic early warning, it is still better than letting it drift out of sight.
Chen Mo leaned back in the plastic chair, tossing the small bamboo skewer in his hand.
He has absolutely no interest in being a full-time masked hero.
However, teaming up with these hotheads in front of us to watch a joke when we have nothing to do, and maybe even get to order some nutritious takeout before they do, is a pretty good way to pass the time.
Moreover, the scoundrels in the Batman Who Laughs's ditch will surely continue to cause trouble, so having a ready-made intelligence-sharing network can save a lot of trouble.
"Setting up a makeshift team would be fine."
Chen Mo forced a smile and looked around at the people present. "But isn't there something missing from your lineup?"
Bruce frowned even more deeply.
"Let me look at the elder cousin, handsome Chen Mo, strong, fast, glowing, with a voice like a man with throat cancer, and long legs!"
Chen Mo curled his lip. "This setup seems to be missing one person, right? Where's that guy who can talk to fish?"
The people present looked at each other in bewilderment.
They know who the words above correspond to, but what's with talking to fish? Is that a superpower?
Bruce quickly searched through the information in his vast intelligence network in his mind.
He did indeed pay attention to an urban legend that supposedly involved Atlanteans.
"In my database, there is indeed a superhuman who spends most of his time in the Deep."
Bruce considered for a moment before speaking, "If you want him to join this league, I'll try to persuade him."
"Forget it."
Chen Mo waved his hand dismissively, interrupting the other person.
"The next time an alien warship comes crashing down on you, do you expect him to talk to fish and swim over to chat about life with a few tuna?"
Chen Mo leaned forward, his tone dripping with undisguised sarcasm, "Or are you expecting him to command two great white sharks to fly into outer space and gnaw a hole in the spaceship?"
"Puff--"
Barry covered his mouth, his body trembling slightly as he forced himself to stay upright.
Hal, who was standing next to him, quickly turned his head away and pressed his clenched fist against his lips, afraid that he would burst out laughing.
Even the usually serious and reserved Diana couldn't help but smile upon hearing this.
Bruce stood frozen in place.
Didn't you suddenly bring this up? Looks like my analysis of Chen Mo still has a long way to go! But I'm sure he has a foul mouth.
Just as the atmosphere became extremely eerie, with only Barry's mouth and the barbecue restaurant owner still working,...
On the streetlights.
Faora, bound together by tentacles and suspended in mid-air, twitched her eyelids slightly before painfully opening her bewildered eyes.
