In fact, after finalizing Megatron's upgrade plan over the past few days, Rimuru had already given quiet thought to how Bumblebee could grow stronger.
Seeing the little guy gaze enviously at the strong day after day, eager to surpass himself, he had deliberately considered Bumblebee's mobility and close-quarters fighting style, combed through every compatible technology template, and repeatedly weighed the pros and cons.
In the end, he had settled on a custom extreme upgrade plan: rebuild the operating structure of Bumblebee's entire body using the REV-9 Terminator's core framework as a template.
This upgrade would be a thoroughly revolutionary transformation, entirely different from Optimus Prime and Megatron's modular armor upgrades.
The cost was straightforward: once the upgrade was complete, Bumblebee would lose the modular disassembly ability unique to Transformers.
He would no longer be able to break his body into pieces and reassemble them, or separate his body in the usual way to coordinate its parts. The physical traits of a traditional Transformer would be abandoned entirely.
But the benefits were absurdly tremendous, granting him heaven-defying abilities in a class of their own!
He would perfectly replicate the REV-9's dual-body separation mechanism, allowing his metal shell and core mechanical skeleton to separate completely and fight independently.
The shell would be an independently mobile combat body made of alloy nanoparticles, agile and unpredictable, suited to all kinds of close-quarters fighting and ambushes. The core skeleton inside would be his main combat core, formidable in attack and defense, with its strength pushed to the limit.
That wasn't all. This framework also unlocked the ability to fight as a group!
Bumblebee could independently split off four to six tiny robots, using body separation like the Headmasters. Each separate unit would have its own role in scouting, surrounding enemies, sneak attacks, and keeping opponents
