"Happy to see me?"
Sam was dumbfounded to see the head agent appear wearing a bulletproof vest. Without Optimus Prime and the others backing him up, the high schooler was instantly back to being an ordinary kid.
Rimuru looked at the two people who had been brought back and greeted them with interest. Sensing the Transformers watching not far away, he was even more convinced this was a plan. Looking at Bumblebee lying there motionless, Rimuru found it a little ridiculous. These good-for-nothings wanted to capture a Transformer with a few cans of freezing spray and no decent heavy weapons? No tanks, planes, rocket launchers, missiles, machine guns, or RPGs?
In the Defense Department's command hall, the secretary of defense was swamped. Just then, someone from Sector Seven came calling.
"Mr. Secretary, I'm here on the president's orders. You need to see what's in my briefcase.
"There are some things you need to know, things you can't learn about immediately... You may remember that NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory lost the Beagle 2 robot on Mars. Beagle 2 transmitted thirteen seconds of footage, and it's classified above top secret."
When the secretary of defense understood exactly how classified the secret was, he immediately realized how much trouble they were facing.
On the helicopter
Female adviser: "So, what do they want you to do?"
Sam: "I bought a car, and it turned out to be an alien robot."
The fat Black man wore an expression that any man would understand, and just seeing it made Sam unable to stop the corners of his mouth from turning up.
They drove to Hoover Dam. Back in this place again, Rimuru looked at the familiar surroundings and reflected that, after going all the way around, he could finally get his hands on the AllSpark.
Frenzy secretly crawled out of the backpack, then fell from the top of Hoover Dam and somehow came away completely unscathed. This little thing was that sturdy? How had the female lead managed to cut his head off? Could he be putting on an act too?
The head agent stood there in combat gear, waiting for the three of them. He wanted to smooth things over with Sam, but Sam wanted nothing to do with him and even extorted him. Young people really were hot-blooded.
Inside, the first thing they saw was Megatron. Looking at the surroundings, Rimuru really couldn't understand how they had done it. They had transported Megatron all the way from the Arctic without him waking up, and this world's technology had come from Megatron. Yet Megatron was completely intact, so how had they obtained the technology? By just looking at him? These people really had done nothing but freeze Megatron; they hadn't put a single physical restraint on him.
The group then came to the area where the AllSpark was stored. "Carbon-14 dating estimates that the energy source came to Earth ten thousand years ago. The Seven Elders discovered it in 1913... President Hoover therefore built the dam to hide it inside. With concrete four football fields thick, no one, nor any alien race outside, can detect the energy it emits..."
Rimuru watched him boasting. Frenzy had already slipped inside, and if nothing unexpected happened, the Decepticons knew by now. The Autobots were also on their way.
The voltage became unstable, and the lights flickered. Rimuru knew the Decepticons had arrived. Starscream was probably the first one there, and Megatron was about to wake up too. Frenzy had done a fine job.
Next, Bumblebee would shrink the AllSpark and take it away. Gillvalis would capture Frenzy first.
"Okay, sir."
In a hidden corner, a white light flashed beneath Frenzy's feet, and he fell through.
"Sam! I found Bumblebee!" Rimuru shouted, drawing everyone over.
When Sam heard him, he shot off, barging straight in despite the head agent's attempts to stop him.
Bumblebee was still strapped to the platform, being blasted with cold air. "Damn, you guys are useless. It's been this long, and you still haven't frozen Bumblebee. Not that I want him frozen, but with skills like yours, how did you manage to freeze Megatron? Could he have been faking it too?"
After calming Bumblebee down, they took him to the AllSpark. Even standing there, Bumblebee still looked tiny beside it. Once Bumblebee was in position, he began his work, and Rimuru grew excited. Here it comes, here it comes! Why did I go all the way around like this? Wasn't it for this?
Watching the AllSpark shrink from the size of a mountain to the size of a basketball, Rimuru thought, That technology-Dr. Pym, is that you?
Looking at the AllSpark before them, the group began making plans. Megatron was about to wake up next door, yet they were discussing hiding the AllSpark in the nearest city. Come on, man, are you a spy sent by another country? Hiding the AllSpark in a city? You really don't treat the people there as human beings. And the secretary of defense actually thinks it's a great idea and fully agrees. Have you betrayed America too?
But it didn't matter. Everyone got into the vehicles and fled. Rimuru sat in Bumblebee's back seat, holding the AllSpark like a certain cheese-stealing mouse.
They had only just emerged when a loud blast came from the tunnel and Megatron burst out. Why did that sound a little like the Titan from Giant City?
After speeding down the highway, they successfully met up with Optimus Prime and the others. The Decepticons caught up as well: Brawl, Bonecrusher, and Barricade.
A highway chase like this really was exciting, but something seemed off. Why was he running? He already had the AllSpark, so what came next was the Transformers' problem. Since that was the case, he might as well pack them all up and take them away.
"Stop! Stop, quick! Stop running!" Rimuru shouted, and the convoy slowly came to a halt.
Seeing the convoy stop, the Transformers came over. Optimus Prime spoke slowly. "What's happened, Rimuru?"
"Optimus Prime, why are we running? There's no need at all."
"But Megatron is about to catch up. If he takes the AllSpark, everything will be over." Ratchet didn't quite understand what Rimuru was thinking.
"So there's even less reason to run. I can just beat him, and that'll be the end of it," Rimuru said matter-of-factly.
Rimuru's bold statement left the Transformers speechless. Beat Megatron? Do you hear yourself?
"Little guy, you're going to beat Megatron? You?" Ironhide's voice was full of disbelief, as if asking whether he had gone crazy.
"What's that supposed to mean? What's wrong with me? Megatron's nothing. I can handle him easily. If I'm saying this, I obviously have my own means. Just watch closely from behind and learn."
Everyone was puzzled by his words, but seeing how confident Rimuru looked, perhaps he really did have a way to beat Megatron?
PS: I feel like something's off about the later plot. The Transformers plot doesn't line up from one movie to the next. By the time you get to Transformers 3, it starts conflicting with the first movie. That human villain made a deal with Megatron, but Megatron had been frozen for over a hundred years in the first movie. When the hell did he have time to make a deal with him? Surely it couldn't have been made by another member? Megatron definitely wouldn't acknowledge it then, but he clearly knows about it. The plot's logic doesn't add up. No wonder nobody writes about it. I was thinking of making it a side plot, but it looks like that won't work.
