"You... sneaked out?"
Valeria poked Franklin with the large syringe in her hand, still somewhat incredulous.
In Reed's view, Franklin was an extremely unstable cosmic bomb; if he got even slightly agitated, the entire galaxy would explode.
Even Susan didn't allow Franklin to go out and play freely, which shows how strictly he was watched.
"Yes, Valeria, you have no idea how difficult it was for me to create a clone that was so realistic it could escape Reed's detection."
"I have to consider both their research methods and their magical detection capabilities."
Franklin shrugged.
"As you know, every now and then, he brings those annoying guys like Tony and Strange over. I even have to report to them every day when I create a few toys."
"Wait! Franklin, you... didn't you say you were coming as a clone?"
Thor looked at Franklin, initially bewildered, then his expression brightened with surprise.
Good heavens!
What does Franklin's arrival in person mean? Need I say more?
With his foolish younger brother added to the mix, he now has powerful connections and backing. Who in the entire multiverse can cause him trouble?
Now even if he can't win, he has the leverage to call for backup!
" Thor, you were so afraid of me back then, I was just saying that to lower your guard."
Franklin began to explain.
"So, are you planning to stay in the Knowhere, or..."
Thor looked at Franklin, his eyes filled with longing.
"I'll just stay here. I think it's pretty good here; even Asgard moved here."
Franklin pointed to Asgard, which was high above Frost City, resplendent in gold and brimming with divine power.
"Where did Asgard come from..."
Thor looked up in the direction Franklin was pointing and saw a suspended continent standing quietly high in the sky.
He turned to Valeria, "You made this thing?"
"Yes, I used the power of the Infinity Stones to make it for you. Isn't it a perfect 1:1 replica!"
Why did you bring Asgard into this?
" Emma Frost said you might prefer living in the palace, so she let me do it. Oh, right, the city lord's mansion has moved east now too!"
Valeria, still determined, picked up her syringe again.
"Look how much effort I've put into recreating your hometown, aren't you going to give me something in return?"
Thor didn't speak, but turned to look at Franklin, his eyes flashing.
Aren't you going to do anything about your sister?!
"I can't control her. She'll be considered to have a conscience if she doesn't tell Reed on me."
Franklin said he couldn't help.
"Ahem... Valeria, I have two good research subjects here, you should know them too."
Thor pulled a shrunken cage from his spatial storage. Lightning could be faintly seen flashing inside, and two figures were screaming in agony.
Valeria took the cage, aimed it at her personal terminal, and began her unique unboxing process.
" Professor X's sister Cassandra and Shadow King Farouk?"
"This is indeed a good subject for research. I haven't been to the Astral Plane yet!"
Valeria put away the syringe, and a surge of research enthusiasm suddenly appeared in her eyes.
"I won't take your blood this time, but remember to bring me a Dimensional Demon God next time."
She reached out and made a sweeping motion in the air, and a rectangular, blue portal instantly swallowed her up.
"You're all Reed's kids, just as crazy."
Thor looked at the spot where Valeria had disappeared and muttered something under his breath.
"No, don't label me like that. You don't want to see me go crazy."
Franklin chuckled and joked.
"That's true. Let's go. Are you planning to ride a dinosaur, teleport, take a hovercar, or try the Hulk Throw?"
"I asked Thor asked.
"Dinosaurs, I suppose. They're quite rare even in our universe."
Franklin thought for a moment and then answered.
"Hey Steve! Someone here wants to try out our special feature!"
Thor called out to Hydra Captain Steve was standing not far away.
"Where should I sit?"
The Hydra Captain quickly walked over and looked at Franklin.
Franklin pointed to the flock of pterosaurs flying overhead.
"Okay, come with me."
Hydra Captain led Franklin to an open area ahead, and soon a pterosaur landed with flapping wings.
" Thor, where is Sylvie?"
At this moment, Female Thor approached.
"Come with me."
Thor sensed Sylvie's presence and opened a portal.
The two entered one after the other.
Earth56723.
In a small town, Sylvie leaned boredly against the table next to the cash register.
She was wearing a standard McDonald's's uniform and was absentmindedly poking at the fries plush toy next to the cashier.
" Sylvie, have we had any guests yet?"
Behind him, a black-haired woman in the same work uniform was scrolling through her phone while looking up at the gate.
"No, Alice, maybe they're not hungry right now."
Sylvie glanced at her colleague and said casually.
Business was exceptionally slow today; only a few groups of customers came around noon.
After all, customer traffic isn't always high; for fast food restaurants like theirs, it's normal to have varying numbers of customers.
In addition, this place isn't a famous tourist attraction; overall, it's quite remote.
However, for her, her current life is quite good.
She fought against the Time Variance Authority for half her life, and now she has destroyed and rebuilt the Time Variance Authority, and its ideology has changed.
There simply wasn't time to make that mistake.
No one else will have their life ruined by this organization's willful actions like she did.
Sylvie went to the kitchen, picked up a bag of freshly fried fries, squeezed some ketchup on them, and ate them one by one.
Whoosh!
"See? I told you she was hiding at McDonald's's eating fries!"
Thor's voice came from behind Sylvie.
"You... Thor?! What do you want with me?"
Sylvie had just conjured a dagger with magic when she turned around and saw Thor walking out of the portal with a woman wearing blue and gold armor.
"Only shit! Sylvie! You actually know Thor?!"
Alice heard the noise and looked over, her phone falling to the ground with a thud.
Several other colleagues nearby were also attracted by the commotion and came over together.
"Is that Thor from the Avengers?"
One of the male colleagues spoke up somewhat hesitantly.
"Yes! Look! It's exactly the same as the photos online!"
Another colleague took out his phone and searched online. After a quick comparison, he found that the photo didn't look too different from the real person, since the recognizable features were so high.
"Well, looks like I'll have to live in a different universe again."
Sylvie wasn't surprised by her colleague's astonishment, because the Avengers exist in 80-90% of the universe, with varying personnel configurations.
However, most of the people in the Thor are regulars.
"What brings you here, Thor?"
She looked at Thor, her face full of questions.
"Well, I ran into your sister in the multiverse. She's been saying she's been looking for you, so I brought her here."
Thor stepped aside, revealing the Female Thor had removed her helmet.
"How... how is this possible! My original universe was cut up by them long ago!"
Upon hearing this, Sylvie paused for a second before immediately retorting.
"Sister, you're right. Our universe is gone. Mother Queen sensed this crisis beforehand and, with all her might, she and Father King sent me to another universe, which is how I survived."
The Female Thor, recounted everything with a sorrowful expression.
"This..." Sylvie stood there stunned, not knowing what to do.
She already knew she had lost her family, but now Thor had come out to tell her that her sister was actually still alive?!
The atmosphere remained tense; neither of them knew how to start a conversation, and they could only stare at each other blankly.
What are you two women dawdling about?
Thor stretched out his hands, pressing down on their shoulders, one on each side, and forcibly pinned them together.
"I don't know what to say. A hug would have been enough. We have to go. I don't want to argue with the Sorcerer Supreme of this universe."
He opened the portal again and kicked the two inside, leaving behind several McDonald's's employees filming with their phones.
