Tony's hand was already on the suite's doorknob, but he didn't push it down immediately. Instead, he turned his head, looked at Thor with a strange expression, and asked in a low voice:
"On another note, do you think that in his current state, conventional motivational speeches, admonitions, or even a beating would be effective?"
Thor chuckled, his tone casual yet confident, as if he had already devised a foolproof plan. "Why wouldn't it work? Given his condition, a couple of shocks will do the trick."
Upon hearing this, Tony's expression froze instantly, his eyes widening as if he had heard something unbelievable. He scanned Thor up and down twice, as if he were seeing him for the first time.
"Are you kidding me? You want to use electricity to shock Thor?! Are you crazy, or am I crazy?"
"What's the big deal?" Thor raised an eyebrow, looking completely nonchalant.
"You've seen the future scenes I showed you, haven't you? It's perfectly normal for Thor to be afraid of electricity, just like pirates are afraid of water—they're natural enemies."
Tony's lips twitched, his gaze falling on him with a hint of tentative suspicion. "Wait, so you're afraid of electricity too?"
Upon hearing this, Thor confidently raised his chin, a thin strand of golden lightning flashing across his fingertip, swirling twice before vanishing without a trace. "No, I am the exception."
Tony rolled his eyes at his expression, tapped the wall behind him, and said with a tone full of helplessness:
"Fine, even if you're not afraid, and even if this fat guy is afraid of electricity, how exactly are you going to shock him? My Avengers Tower can't withstand your two messing around. If you end up smashing the building down, you'll have to pay for the repairs!"
"Don't worry, it won't cause any big commotion." Thor smiled and raised his hand in a loose grasp.
The powerful Law of Reality and the Law of Thunder intertwined in his palm, and in the blink of an eye, a Crystal of crystal clear blue condensed and took shape in his palm.
The Crystal crackled with tiny sparks of electricity; it looked delicate and harmless, yet it concealed a power not to be underestimated.
He casually tossed the Crystal, and it landed steadily in Tony's hands.
Tony caught the Crystal, and the moment his fingertips touched the outer shell, he felt the surging lightning power within. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and look up at Thor:
"What is this thing? It looks like a magical toy."
"Simply put, it's a self-regulating monitoring system," Thor explained slowly, arms crossed.
"As long as it detects that Thor in your universe isn't doing anything productive—whether it's exercising, studying, or fighting—as long as he's lounging on the sofa playing games, drinking beer, or just lounging around, it will automatically discharge electricity."
He paused, then added with a sly smile, "Moreover, the more he resists, the harder the electric shocks are applied, and the pain increases exponentially."
Tony's expression grew even stranger. He examined the Crystal from top to bottom, his tone tinged with disbelief:
"Are you sure the pain increases exponentially? Aren't you afraid of killing him?"
"Hey, what's there to be afraid of?" Thor waved his hand dismissively, looking completely unconcerned.
"You've seen my abilities. Even if he were truly dead, let alone just being stunned by electricity, I can pull him back from the brink of death."
He stared at the closed door, his tone full of certainty:
"Anyway, there's only one way to deal with this kind of stubborn shut-in."
If an electric shock doesn't kill, then shock as many times as possible. There's nothing that a shock can't solve; if there is, then keep shocking.
"Wouldn't it be inappropriate to do this?"
A woman's voice, tinged with weariness and helplessness, suddenly came from the next room.
The two turned to look and saw Jane Foster, dressed in pajamas, rubbing her sleepy eyes as she walked out of the next room. Her eyes still held a deep weariness, clearly having been awakened by Fat Thor's roar and their conversation.
Thor looked at her and calmly asked, "So, do you think the Thor who once wielded thunder and protected the Nine Realms is better, or this chubby guy who stays in his room playing video games and never even leaves the house?"
Upon hearing this, Jane froze instantly. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but then swallowed it back. A complex emotion flashed in her eyes, and she was clearly hesitant.
She looked at the closed suite door, sighed softly, and remained silent, which was taken as tacit agreement.
Seeing this, Thor raised an eyebrow, glanced at Tony beside him, and said with a hint of mockery in his tone:
"See? Even his girlfriend can't stand it anymore. That's what we'll do—electrify him relentlessly."
Tony looked at Jane's expression, then glanced down at the azure Crystal in his hand, grinned, and revealed an expression that suggested he was enjoying the show.
He raised his hand, pressed the doorknob, gently pushed it open a crack, and with a flick of his wrist, accurately tossed the Crystal into the room.
The Crystal rolled twice on the carpet, making a slight sound that instantly caught the attention of Fat Thor in front of the computer.
He grumbled as he took off his headphones, his round belly protruding as he got up from the sofa. Curious, he bent down to pick up the Crystal from the floor and examined it closely, turning it over and over in his eyes.
"What is it? What's Tony up to now?"
Before he could finish speaking, a massive burst of azure electricity erupted from the Crystal, striking him without warning!
"Aaaaaaahh...
A piercing scream instantly shattered the doorway, making the walls of the corridor seem to tremble.
Fat Thor was trembling all over from the electric shock, his hair standing on end, but the Crystal in his hand seemed glued to it, no matter how hard he shook it, he couldn't shake it off. The electric current was stronger with each Bobby, and his screams were more and more shrill.
The commotion was so loud that within seconds, the doors to the rooms on both sides of the corridor were opened one after another.
Dr. Banner, Vision, Hawkeye Clint, Black Widow Natasha Romanoff, Steve Rogers, and Rhodey and Falcon Sam.
All the Avengers emerged from their rooms, their eyes immediately fixed on Tony and Thor.
Steve frowned, stepped forward first, looked at Tony, and asked with a serious tone, " Tony, what's going on? What happened inside? What happened to Thor?"
Tony raised an eyebrow, leaned against the wall, whistled at Steve, and made a joke:
"Don't be nervous, Old Popsicle. I knew you wanted to beat this good-for-nothing bastard up. I'll shock him first to vent your anger."
Natasha crossed her arms, stepped forward, her gaze falling on Thor, then sweeping over the closed door, and asked calmly, "What exactly happened?"
Tony didn't keep them in suspense, explaining the situation concisely, and pointed to Thor beside him:
" Thor came to Odin's aid, specifically to pull our universe's Thor out of that quagmire. The best and most efficient method they figured out is electricity."
Upon hearing this, Rhodey couldn't help but burst out laughing, leaning against the wall and shaking his head, his tone full of schadenfreude.
"That's hilarious. I've never heard of Thor being afraid of electricity before. I think his blood should really be filled with lightning, not cream now."
Falcon Sam, standing nearby, chuckled and nodded in agreement, "To be honest, he really needed that shock to wake him up."
