Emma Frost rubbed her head, feeling that something wasn't right.

She looked at Elizabeth.

"What just happened?"

Elizabeth's face was expressionless.

"He grabbed you by the leg and held you in midair while you struggled for half a minute."

Emma Frost's face darkened.

"I don't need you to remind me, Elizabeth. What happened after that?"

"Then he touched your hair."

Emma Frost froze.

Elizabeth's lips curved in a rare smile.

"It probably felt nice."

Emma Frost didn't respond. Instead, she fell into thought, still feeling that something was missing.

"Then how did he get next to me?"

Elizabeth was silent for a long moment before answering. "Do you remember how those agents threw us into this dump? That's what he just did to you."

"Huh?!" Hearing Elizabeth's words, Emma Frost recalled what had happened just before she was pruned here by that baton.

"Wait, Elizabeth, are you saying Thor just stopped time around me? The same way those TVA agents did to us?!!"

"That's right. It's just a shame I didn't record it." Elizabeth shook her head regretfully. "The famous White Queen, handled with ease, and in such an undignified position."

Emma Frost's face instantly turned black as coal, and the veins on her forehead bulged. "Elizabeth---!"

"Don't worry, Emma Frost. If I get a chance to return to my universe, I'll be sure to tell Charles and the others!"

For the second time, the White Queen Emma Frost blew her top yet again.

She went straight for Elizabeth's chest with a black tiger heart rip, and Elizabeth, unwilling to back down, joined Emma Frost in a second round.

Thor wasn't surprised to see this. The two often sniped at each other in the comics, so it was nothing unusual. From what he remembered of his previous life, the two were basically friends who loved to roast each other.

The kind who, upon learning the other had been dumped, would make a special trip over just to make sarcastic remarks.

Thor looked down at the two remaining law fragments. One was orange, and the other was multicolored. He sensed that one was a soul law fragment, while the other seemed to correspond to the elemental law.

It looked like his lightning could have other attributes in the future. This reminded him of a wish-fulfillment novel he'd read in his previous life: "Don't bully a young man for being poor."

So Xiao Huohuo controlled heavenly flames, while he controlled heavenly lightning?

That name sounded a little strange.

Elizabeth and Emma Frost were fighting with increasing vigor, and they were clearly getting genuinely angry. Watching two women fight was quite a sight, but it didn't quite compare to getting stronger and recovering his power.

Thor immediately began absorbing the two law fragments, taking a few pieces of bread to munch on from the supplies the three unlucky fellows Emma Frost controlled had brought back.

A quarter of an hour passed, and Thor had fully absorbed the two law fragments. Watching the two women still locked in a fierce fight, he suddenly thought of something fun. He waved both hands in the air, and countless streams of elemental energy formed two chibi figures.

The two chibi figures were none other than Psylocke Elizabeth Betsy Braddock and the White Queen Emma Frost. They flew over to the fighting women and sat on their respective heads, their short little legs swinging back and forth. Clearly, they were watching the show too.

Emma Frost and Elizabeth also noticed the strange little figures that had suddenly appeared on each other's heads. They stopped fighting in unspoken agreement and turned in unison to look at Thor, who was eating bread nearby.

"Did you do this?" Emma Frost smoothed her slightly rumpled suit and walked toward Thor with a haughty, graceful stride.

"Yeah. Don't you think your chibi versions are cute?"

Thor spoke as he chewed his bread.

Emma Frost stared at him for three seconds.

"Thor, do you think that just because I can't beat you right now, you can do whatever you want?"

Thor thought for a moment, then nodded seriously.

"More or less."

As soon as he finished speaking, the chibi figure on Emma Frost's head shook its round little head and planted its stubby hands on its hips, perfectly copying her haughty, chin-up pose. It even mimicked the unconcealable irritation at the corners of her brows to a tee.

The perfect elegance Emma Frost had maintained for more than a decade instantly cracked.

She discreetly activated her psychic powers, intending to erase the little thing that dared act so brazenly on her head. But the moment her immense psychic power touched it, a soft yet indestructible elemental barrier bounced it back.

After several failed attempts, Emma Frost turned expressionlessly to Elizabeth. "Elizabeth, there's one on your head too."

"I know. I think it's quite amusing, don't you? It's really good at copying you."

Elizabeth was poking the chibi figure on her own head with interest.

Not only was the little thing unafraid of her, it hugged her fingertip and rubbed against it. It even raised a hand and conjured a purple Psylocke blade the size of a fingernail, performing a beautiful flourish. It was a miniature version of her, through and through.

"Thor, your craftsmanship is fine-it's just that the proportions are a little undersized. You'll have to fix them for me later."

"All right, Elizabeth." Thor swallowed his bread and nodded.

"Call me Betsy from now on."

Thor froze at her words. He looked up in disbelief and stared at Elizabeth for a full ten seconds before speaking. "Are you sure, Elizabeth?"

"Didn't I just tell you to call me Betsy?"

"All right, Betsy."

Emma Frost found their conversation even more unbelievable. "Elizabeth, even with the relationship we have, you won't let me call you Betsy?! But he can?! Whose side are you on?!"

Without turning around, Elizabeth said, "I'm on the interesting side. Besides, Emma Frost, we're not from the same universe. Strictly speaking, we really don't know each other well."

Emma Frost took a deep breath and ignored Elizabeth's "betrayal," forcibly suppressing the urge to go over and knock Thor's bread away. "Thor, I'm giving you three seconds! Get this little thing off my head, or even if it costs me my life, I'll make you pay! I, Emma Frost, absolutely keep my word!!!"

"Okay, okay, whatever you say."

Thor waved his hand, and the little figure on Emma Frost's head instantly vanished. Only her disheveled blonde hair remained as proof that it had ever existed.

"You're so bad-tempered all the time. Weren't you a little girl once too? I tried to cheer you up, and you weren't even happy about it."

Emma Frost was just about to turn and find those three unlucky fellows to vent her anger on them when she heard Thor's muttering. Her steps abruptly halted, and her body stiffened slightly.

Only after three seconds did she slowly turn around, wearing that familiar, chilling smile.

"What did you say?"

Thor kept munching on his bread without looking up.

"I said, you were once a little girl too. You just wrapped yourself up like a hedgehog later on, prickling anyone who came close."

"Am I wrong?"

Emma Frost stared at him without speaking.

The smile slowly faded from her face.

Not because she was angry, but because-

He was right.

Three seconds later, she put her cold, haughty mask back on.

"Thor, do you think knowing a little about my past means you can stand here and lecture me about life?"

"I, Emma Frost, didn't survive until today by 'once being a little girl.' I survived by never looking back."

"So-eat your bread and shut up!"

Thor looked at her and smiled.

"All right, I'll stop."

He took a bite of bread.

But as Emma Frost turned away, he muttered softly:

"Still, even hedgehogs have soft bellies. If you showed yours once in a while, nobody would laugh at you."

Emma Frost's steps paused again.

Then she walked faster.

But Thor noticed-

Her ears were a little red.

Betsy watched from the side, unwilling to pass up any chance to make Emma Frost uncomfortable.

"Emma Frost, he's right."

Emma Frost didn't turn around.

"Shut up."

Betsy's lips curved into a smile.

"I'm just stating a fact."
