"Godfather." Valeria stopped typing and turned to face Doom. "Tell them to stop fighting, or Emma Frost will come after me again."
Doom took a step forward, his heavy metal boots slamming into the broken floor with a dull thud.
"With Doom here." Doom raised his metal-covered arm, shielding himself. " Val doesn't need to worry about a mere Mutants."
Valeria sighed, reached up and ran her fingers through her golden hair, tucking a few strands behind her ear.
" Emma Frost is the lord of Frost City, and Thor is behind her." Valeria looked up at Doom's metal mask. "That's the Thor who helped me beat Mephisto to a pulp."
Doom stopped in his tracks.
There was no movement beneath the metal mask; he stood there, silent for a full ten seconds.
The green cloak fluttered in the turbulent energy currents.
" Doom will try to persuade them."
Doom raised his hands, and green magical energy rapidly gathered at his metal fingertips, emitting a piercing sizzling sound.
In mid-air, a ball of orange-red flame suddenly expanded.

Emma Frost stood with her arms crossed over her chest, her white suit spotless.
" Valeria."
Emma Frost tilted her chin slightly upward.
"I don't recall ever granting you the right to carry out demolitions in Frost City at will."
