Earth-1610B Universe, Peter Parker's underground base in Queens.
A holographic projector rotates at high speed in the center of the laboratory, and blue data streams weave intricate geometric patterns in mid-air.
Peni Parker's hands flew across the holographic keyboard. The edge of the cockpit of the SP//dr mech flashed a blinding red light.
"The dimensional rejection response is intensifying exponentially."
Peni turned around and pointed to the constantly fluctuating data curve on the projector.
We have at most less than five days.
"We must activate Kingpin's multiverse collider before the cellular structure completely collapses, and return to our respective universes. Otherwise, we will all die."
As soon as he finished speaking, Spider-Man Noir's body suddenly convulsed violently.
Black and white pixels exploded on his body. He groaned and slammed one knee heavily onto the metal floor with a dull thud.
Gwen Stacy quickly reached out to support him, and a series of colorful double images flashed across the surface of her arm.
Peter B. Parker, the pot-bellied Spider-Man Peter, leaned against the edge of the lab table, tugging at his red and blue suit that was taut around his stomach, and extended his right hand.
Kingpin.
He pressed down one finger.
" The Prowler."
Press down with the second finger.
" Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Scorpion, Tombstone."
Peter B. Parker read out the rest of the names in one breath, then folded all Five Fingers together.
"They're all formidable old adversaries. And their equipment has been upgraded in this universe."
He lowered his hand and patted the metal edge of the lab bench.
"Perfect, we can each take one down."
Spider-Man Noir used Gwen Stacy's arm to stand up, forcefully brushing the dust off the hem of his trench coat.
"No. Someone has to deal with both of them."
Spider-Man Noir turned his head and faced Miles Morales, who was cowering in the corner.
Miles has only just gained his abilities. His condition is extremely unstable. He can't even control himself crawling on the wall.
Miles stood pressed against the cold wall, raising his right hand and pausing in mid-air.
"I..."
Miles was about to utter a word, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down, but he swallowed the rest of the words back down.
He lowered his head, put his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, and irritably rubbed his toes on the ground.
He really couldn't help.
In the test a few hours ago, he couldn't even shoot the most basic Silk and broke the crucial USB drive Peter had left him.
"Leave it to me."
Spider-Ham pulled a giant wooden hammer out of thin air; the Hammerhead was larger than his entire body.
"I can handle two. My hammer really hurts. Cartoon physics applies here too."
Spider-Ham swung his wooden hammer, creating a gust of wind, and smashed it into a nearby discarded metal can, instantly turning the can into a flat disc.
Spider-Gwen straightened up and walked up to Miles.
"Perhaps we can spend some time training Miles."
Gwen Stacy patted Miles on the shoulder.
"After all, in the end, it will still be up to him to shut down and destroy the multiverse collider."
Miles looked up abruptly and stared at Gwen Stacy.
Is there no other way?
Miles took a half step back, pressing his back firmly against the wall.
"I only have a few days. I'm not sure I can do it. I... I can't even control static electricity, I don't even know how to throw a punch."
Peter B. Parker sighed, walked over to Miles, and patted his protruding belly.
"There's nothing we can do about it, child."
"They've been fighting Spider-Man in this universe for so many years. They know Spider-Man's fighting style and limits better than anyone else."
"Ten years ago, I could have easily beaten all of them to a pulp by myself."
Peter B. Parker pinched the fat on his stomach and pulled it in forcefully.
"But now, you see. The hardware limitations don't allow it, and time waits for no one."
Buzz---!
A rumble of machinery came from the direction of the elevator shaft.
The elevator doors slid open to both sides.
Aunt May came out carrying a silver tray with several steaming cups of coffee and a whole freshly baked apple pie on it.
"Children."
Aunt May placed the tray on the lab table with unusually steady movements.
"Four more Spider-Man have arrived outside."
The underground base fell into dead silence instantly.
Six Spider-Man from different universes simultaneously turned their heads to look at the huge monitoring screen above the control panel.
The screen was divided into four images, each facing a different angle of the courtyard.
Four people of different shapes and sizes stood on the lawn in the courtyard.
The leader was tall and wore an extremely perfunctory red and blue bodysuit.
He wasn't even wearing a full-coverage hood; his long, golden hair was casually draped over his shoulders, and he held an antique hammer in his hand, with tiny sparks of electricity dancing on its surface.
On the left, a person wearing armor interwoven with crimson and dark gold is descending from mid-air.
Four thick, mechanical spider legs pierced the soil behind him, supporting his body.
The golden Spider-Totem on his chest shimmered faintly.
In the image on the right, a person wearing a dark blue and dark red patchwork suit is suspended half a meter above the ground.
Two red magical ribbons extended from his shoulder blades, and a spider symbol made of golden defensive magic circles was imprinted on his chest. His hands formed a hand seal, and golden sparks danced at his fingertips.
The most unmissable thing was the enormous creature standing at the very back.
He was nearly three meters tall, and his muscles were growing wildly.
An oversized red and blue stretchy bodysuit was tightly constricting his body, the black Spider-Totem stretched distorted beyond recognition, and the fabric made a teeth-grinding tearing sound.
He wore a red hood that only revealed his eyes, and his feet crushed the stone slabs of the courtyard.
The data bar at the bottom of the screen is moving, and the audio receiver is turned on simultaneously.
The conversations in the courtyard could be clearly heard in the underground base.
"Mara Law School."
The man in red and gold armor raised his feet and used his four mechanical legs to elevate himself.
" Thor, you opened that portal way too far off-center. My armor's sensors show I stepped in a pile of some unknown creature's excrement."
The magical Spider-Man, suspended in mid-air, snorted coldly.
" Stark, could you please retract your mechanical legs? Don't completely ruin this rose field. Even the apprentices at Kamar-Taj are more polite than you."
"Shut up, you magician." Tony raised his wrist, and a strand of nano- Silk shot out, sticking directly to the magic circle on Strange's chest. "Those two red ribbons of yours are absolutely stupid."
Banner didn't make a move, just stood quietly at the back scratching his head.
The blond Spider-Man, who was leading the group, turned his head and glanced at his three oddly dressed companions.
"You'll get used to it, friends," Thor laughed. "That's the fun of the multiverse. Besides, we have a mission to complete."
Thor turned around to face the security cameras in the courtyard.
"Let's go. Let's go meet the Underoos of this universe."
Inside the underground base.
Gwen Stacy leaned closer to the screen, placing both hands on the console.
"Is this some kind of new mutation? That big guy, is he also Spider-Man? His size completely defies the principles of agility."
Spider-Man Noir pulled his hat down low, his fingers rubbing together in his trench coat pocket.
"The one in the mecha is equipped with technology far ahead of this era. But the leader is a complete novice. His uniform doesn't even fit properly, and he's still holding a melee weapon."
Peni Parker zooms in on the leader and rapidly types on her keyboard.
"No genetic fluctuations were detected in the radioactive spiders. There were no traces of spider venom in their bodies. They are not our type."
Peter B. Parker was reaching for the coffee on the tray.
When his gaze swept across the four people on the screen and he finished listening to the conversation, he froze completely.
The coffee cup hovered in mid-air, steam rising from it.
Peter B. Parker stared intently at the screen.
The blond man wielding Mjolnir.
That foul-mouthed tycoon in red and gold armor.
That arrogant mage with a magic circle glowing on his chest.
And that green, berserk monster.
Stark, Thor, Strange, and Hulk.
All of them are correct.
Peter B. Parker's eyes widened suddenly, and his fingers began to tremble uncontrollably.
Coffee spilled from the rim of the cup, dripping onto the metal floor and splashing up brown droplets.
He was very familiar with those Spider-Man outside, or rather, the people dressed as Spider-Man; after all, he had collaborated with them countless times in his universe.
Those were a group of monsters who stood at the very top of combat power.
Kingpin? Doctor Octopus? Green Goblin?
Compared to these people, those villains weren't even a warm-up.
Hulk could turn Kingpin into a 2D animation with a single slap.
Now, this group of monsters, dressed in comical Spider-Man costumes, are standing in Aunt May's yard.
Peter B. Parker slammed the coffee cup back onto the tray.
"Bang."
The cup collided with the tray, making a crisp sound.
He turned around, strode to the corner, and dragged out a folding recliner.
"Splash."
He forcefully unfolded the recliner and slammed it onto the ground.
Peter B. Parker slumped back in the recliner, letting out a long breath as his tense muscles instantly relaxed.
He reached out and grabbed the largest apple pie from Aunt May's tray.
Miles walked over, puzzled.
" Peter? What's wrong? Shouldn't we go check on them? They might be the enemy."
Peter B. Parker took a big bite of apple pie, chewed, and swallowed.
"Relax, guys."
Peter B. Parker held up the remaining half of an apple pie and pointed at the four Spider-Man on the monitor screen.
"We don't need to worry at all."
Gwen Stacy turned her head, her face full of confusion.
"What do you mean? Who exactly are they?"
Peter B. Parker shifted to a more comfortable position, placing his legs on the lab table.
"Those few ' Spider-Man ' outside."
Peter B. Parker took the last bite of apple pie.
Even if Thanos came, he'd still get beaten up.
