Three days later, at the Justice League Watchtower.
A deep blue holographic projection unfolded in the center of the circular conference table.
Bruce typed on the keyboard, and dozens of video clips played simultaneously.
"Teleportation. Magic. Resurrection. Time reversal. Erasure of matter. Physical flight." Bruce listed these terms one by one, each of which was transformed into a specific data model on the main screen.
In the first video, purple lightning instantly reshaped the ruins of Arkham; in the second video, the Hawkgirl's broken wings healed as if time had reversed in a green light; in the third video, on the outskirts of the Central City, a blur easily tore through the sound barrier.
"Physical attributes are at least on par with Clark's. He doesn't have a fatal weakness to Kryptonite. What's more troublesome is that he can accurately track Wally's movements after he enters the Speed Force."
Bruce pulled up a surveillance video that had been slowed down ten thousand times.
In the scene, Wally transforms into a red and yellow lightning bolt, streaking across the street, while Thor, sitting at a roadside stall eating a hot dog, precisely turns his head, his gaze locking onto Wally's afterimage.
"Based on the comic's content, there's a 90% chance the other party possesses a high-dimensional artifact, possibly Mjolnir or something else."
Bruce paused for half a second before raising the key point of contention.
"The most fatal thing is that he uses these abilities without expending any energy."
Clark hovered above the seat, arms crossed. "He always needs something replenished; even Kryptonian need the radiation from the Sun."
Bruce cut out a series of photos of Thor enjoying meals at various restaurants.
From Gotham's cheese pizza to the Metropolis's Wellington steak, and Star City's top-notch seafood.
He eats purely to satisfy his appetite; he has no physiological needs whatsoever.
Bruce pulled up the energy wave spectrum scan. "His body is a perfect internal circulation system, constantly absorbing free energy from the surrounding environment."
Wally leaned back in his chair and whistled. "Well, I'd definitely get along with him. He'd love that super-sized hot dog stand in Central City; the owner's secret mustard sauce is absolutely amazing."
Bruce turned his head, his gaze sweeping coldly over them.
Wally immediately sat up straight and raised his hand to his mouth, mimicking the motion of zipping up a zipper.
"From the perspective of energy manifestation, he perfectly fits the definition of 'god' in the mythological system."
Diana pressed her hands on the table, the Sword of Hephaestus hanging at her waist, the metal clanging with a crisp sound.
"But his behavior is more like that of a mortal who accidentally gained limitless power; he has no divine aura and acts entirely based on personal preference."
The black-and-gold-clad Dinah sat on the outer edge, flipping through her tablet and transmitting a psychological assessment report to the main screen.
"One more point. After three days of observation, I've observed that he has an extremely high tolerance for women, provided they are attractive and have no malicious intent."
A short clip of surveillance video popped up on the holographic projection.
Several hot female reporters tried to approach for an interview. They had just raised their microphones and hadn't even had a chance to ask a question when a slight gust of wind blew them away, sending them flying more than ten meters away, leaving them dazed and confused.
"Even if she's a beautiful woman, if she annoys him, he won't show her any mercy." Dinah shrugged. "He has his own unique screening mechanism, which is very arbitrary, but also extremely brutal."
John braced his hands on the table and pulled up a set of trending search data; dense red entries occupied half the screen.
"The military is in an uproar. For the past three days, his name has dominated the headlines on all social media. The politicians at the Pentagon believe this is a new type of deterrent weapon from the League, and they are recklessly testing our limits. Several generals have even proposed activating the air defense matrix."
A photo taken from above appeared on the screen. A day earlier, Thor was dressed casually, holding an extra-large Coke, followed by a large group of people.
Oliver, Dinah, Helena, Jason, Stephanie, Cassandra, and even Damian.
A group of vigilantes who should have been lurking in the shadows walked out with the aura of a gang sweeping the streets.
"So, where exactly is this mobile nuclear bomb now?" Diana tapped the table, the metal wristband reflecting light.
Clark stroked his chin, seemingly recalling the scene from earlier.
" Metropolis South Beach. Half an hour ago, he was in line for a double scoop of vanilla ice cream and waved at me from three blocks away. He seemed to be in a good mood."
J'onn sat in the corner, his green skin blending into the shadows.
He turned to Bruce and posed a question everyone was deliberately avoiding. " Bruce, he took all your Protégé. Gotham is now in a defensive vacuum?"
Bruce paused for two seconds, and this brief silence made the atmosphere in the entire conference room drop to freezing point.
Instead of answering, he directly pulled up the Nebula of Gotham City.
"A localized thunderstorm has been lingering over Gotham City for the past 72 hours."
Bruce pulled up surveillance footage from several blocks; the images showed dark clouds looming overhead and lightning flashing across the sky.
"Anyone attempting a criminal act will be struck by a precisely falling purple lightning bolt a split second before they can act."
In the video, a thug pulls out a switchblade, attempting to rob a passerby, when a bolt of lightning strikes, leaving him charred black and convulsing on the ground.
In another scene, several mercenaries who attempted to blow up a bank vault were reduced to ashes without even uttering a scream.
Those who commit heinous crimes will be permanently erased from existence. Those whose crimes are less serious will be placed in a deep coma.
Bruce zoomed in on one of the charred craters, "This level of dimensional reduction attack completely shattered the psychological defenses of Gotham's underworld."
Wally raised his hand, trying to break the oppressive atmosphere. "I know that. He also packed all those unfortunate souls in deep comas into Wayne Enterprises ' private hospitals. The ER is overflowing, even the hallways are packed with electrocution patients."
"Didi--"
A piercing alarm suddenly cut Wally off, and red warning lights spun above the conference room.
" Bruce," Barbara interrupted from the communications channel, " Amanda Waller Waller is requesting access to the highest level of encryption."
"Connect." Bruce interlaced his fingers and placed them against his chin.
The main screen flickered, Amanda Waller Waller's powerful face occupied half the screen, with the core control room of the Cadmus Base in the background.
"What exactly is this guy named Thor?" Amanda Waller asked directly, without any pleasantries.
"That's none of your business, Waller," Bruce retorted coldly.
"Don't try that on me, Bruce." Amanda Waller braced herself on the desk, leaning forward, exuding an air of intimidation.
"I just need a definite answer. Does his current behavior represent the official position of the Justice League, or is it just the 'new view' of the masses held by a very small number of extremists among you? He has seriously threatened national security!"
"He comes from another universe." Bruce revealed part of the truth, keeping his trump card hidden deep inside. "Origin unknown. Ability mechanics unknown. Power ceiling unknown. My advice is, keep an eye on your bunch of idiots and don't mess with him."
Amanda Waller slammed her hand on the table, making the camera shake.
"Are you really going to let a high-dimensional being of unknown origin and extremely destructive power run rampant on Earth? Is the Justice League's security agreement just a piece of paper? If he decides to wipe Washington off the map tomorrow, what do you plan to do to stop him? With a speech of love and peace?"
Bruce stared at the screen; Amanda Waller's agitation betrayed the panic inside the Pentagon.
This was exactly the intelligence he needed.
The more wary the government is, the easier it will be to expose the true nature of the Project Cadmus.
He needs to use the government to test Thor's stress response, and at the same time use Thor to teach Cadmus.
" Project Cadmus to extract Kara's genes without authorization and clone Supergirl codenamed Galatea." Bruce spoke calmly, but every word was cutting.
"This violation appears to have been carried out without any permission from the League, or even Clark himself. The number of times you've crossed the line is enough for the entire League to conduct a full-scale purge."
Amanda Waller froze, and after a few seconds of standoff, she let out a heavy sigh.
The secret was completely exposed, and her proud intelligence network was riddled with holes in front of Batman.
" Bruce, the people upstairs have lost patience." Amanda Waller lowered her voice, a hint of helpless compromise in it.
"Ten minutes ago, the Pentagon bypassed my authority and issued the order directly. Galatea has already set off to test the limits of that unknown creature. That's all I can say."
Before the communication was cut off, Bruce gave his final reply.
"Then you'd better prepare yourselves mentally for losing this government property."
Bruce stared at the fading signal on the screen, his expression unchanged. "That clone is most likely not coming back."
South Beach of the Metropolis Area.
The sun was blazing, and the sea breeze whipped up white waves that lapped against the golden sand.
Thor was wearing a floral shirt and beach shorts, holding an oversized double scoop of vanilla ice cream.
He took the last bite of the crispy ice cream cone, the icy sensation spreading through his mouth.
boom!
With a terrifying sonic boom, the airflow suddenly became violently distorted.
Tourists nearby were thrown to the ground by the sudden increase in air pressure, screams erupting everywhere.
The parasols on the beach were uprooted and swept into the air.
Thor turned around and looked at the person who had come in.
The newcomer was a blonde woman whose white, high-slit, tight-fitting uniform accentuated her powerfully muscular physique, and her short blonde hair danced in the wind.
Galatea hovered half a meter above the ground, arms crossed, looking down at him.
