Another Death

As soon as Thor stepped out of the portal, his gaze immediately locked onto the seven artifacts floating beside Martian Manhunter.

He stopped and raised an eyebrow. "Huh?!"

He stared unceremoniously at the green-skinned alien.

"I really didn't expect that anyone among you could actually gain the approval of all seven of these worthless people."

Thor pointed to Mjolnir, then to the Scepter of Lies, "That hammer is nothing more than an electrified lump of iron, and that scepter is a worthless toy. But to gain their approval at the same time, you're quite capable."

He glanced around at the Justice League's leaders, finally fixing his gaze on Martian Manhunter. "Tell me, J'onn, what is your wish?"

Before Martian Manhunter could even open his mouth, the energy within the portal surged once more, and the blue halo rapidly expanded outwards.

Reed Richards stepped forward first, quickly scanning the layout of the conference room before immediately positioning half of his body in front of the portal in a defensive stance.

Immediately afterwards, Valeria, wearing a loose-fitting lab coat, strode out.

As soon as she landed, without even glancing at the Justice League leaders, she raised her wrist, and a holographic projection lit up on her personal terminal.

" Lumina, take over the network here." Her fingers flew across the virtual keyboard, and strings of code cascaded down like a waterfall.

"Warn..."

The red light on the Watchtower's main control panel flashed instantly, and the piercing alarm was abruptly cut off after only half a syllable.

The lights throughout the base flickered for half a second before returning to normal, but control had completely changed hands.

The monitoring screen on the big screen was instantly replaced with the operating interface of Valeria's personal terminal, and countless folders and top-secret files were forcibly unlocked and automatically popped open.

This even included Batman's privately devised countermeasures against various League members, all of which were projected onto the screen without reservation.

"Done." Valeria curled her lip, looked up and glanced around at the metal walls, making no attempt to hide her disdain.

"Your equipment is so primitive. The toys I made when I was five were more advanced than this. The firewall is built entirely with the most basic binary code, without even a quantum encryption lock. You dare call this piece of junk a space station? Is this how you monitor Earth?"

Before she could finish speaking, Emma Frost and Betsy walked out of the portal side by side.

Susan Stone walked last, habitually creating an extremely thin, invisible force field to completely protect her family within it.

As soon as Emma Frost stood still, her invisible spiritual power instantly transformed into countless tiny, imperceptible tentacles, piercing straight into the brains of the six Justice League leaders beside the conference table.

This is a habit she has developed over the years: when she arrives in an unfamiliar environment, she first tries to find out everyone's weaknesses before she feels at ease.

Bang!

A solid and heavy mental barrier rose out of thin air, forcefully repelling all of Emma Frost's probing attempts.

Two extremely powerful spiritual energies collided in the air, creating a barely perceptible ripple, and even the surrounding air became distorted due to the high-frequency vibration.

Emma Frost took a half step back, turning her head in confusion. How could someone possibly block her casual probe?

She turned to look at the Martian Manhunter, the green-skinned alien who was protecting his companions with a steady yet unwavering strength.

Emma Frost caught a glimpse of Thor's practiced manner, snorted coldly, withdrew her mental energy, and stopped her attacking.

"Damn it!" Wally the Flash leaped back three meters, his finger trembling as he pointed at the newly appeared group. " Mister Fantastic? Invisible Woman? The White Queen and Psylocke from X-Men? And... that little girl is Mister Fantastic's daughter?"

He spoke so fast it left a trail of afterimages, circling the conference room twice and creating a gust of wind, "What on earth is going on? A cross-universe character free-for-all?"

Batman remained silent, his body taut beneath his cape.

Valeria breached the Watchtower's firewall in an instant, even uncovering his top-secret files. Coupled with the subtle mental intrusion just now, these two events were enough to prove that these uninvited guests were no ordinary people.

Like Thor, they were mostly a group of overly curious and unrestrained individuals.

He didn't say anything to stop Reed and his daughter; he just stood there quietly, his mind racing, calculating countermeasures and comparing the strength of both sides.

If war breaks out, the immediate physical connection between the Watchtower and the ground must be severed, and backup satellite weapons must be activated simultaneously...

Clang!

The Sword of Hephaestus was suddenly drawn, and Diana strode forward, the blade pointing directly at Emma Frost.

She keenly caught that brief moment of brain intrusion; had J'onn not intervened, the other party would have succeeded.

For Amazons warriors, unannounced spying is the greatest provocation.

"Put away your sword, Amazons." Betsy took a step forward, pale blue spatial smoke shimmering around her, and a psionic blade instantly condensed in her palm, facing Diana's sharp edge.

The aura of the Law of Oblivion flowed along the blade, even shattering the surrounding air into fragments.

"Alright, don't do anything, Diana." Superman Clark quickly floated forward, standing between Diana and Betsy, pressing his hands down. "They were brought by Thor. Let's find out what's going on first."

"Alright," Thor waved his hand, breaking the tense atmosphere.

He turned to look at Martian Manhunter, who was still standing there, "Alright, I know your wish. Isn't it to resurrect your wife and children? Nothing else, right?"

Martian Manhunter abruptly raised his head, his previously steady breathing instantly becoming rapid, his chest heaving violently.

Thor didn't give him a chance to confirm; he simply raised his left hand and clenched his fingers tightly.

The Law of Time, the Law of Soul, the Law of Creation, and the Law of Existence.

He roughly kneaded together four laws that were powerful enough to overturn the laws of the universe.

The once peaceful conference room was instantly engulfed in an energy storm.

The radiant light emanating from the embodiment of the laws made Thor appear as if he were a true creator god.

The four colors of light intertwined to form an invisible net, piercing straight into the depths of the void.

He didn't chant any incantations or use any instruments; he simply relied on his absolute control over the underlying logic of the multiverse to forcibly reverse life and death.

The space inside the Watchtower twisted violently, and the timeline groaned under its own weight.

Thor yanked his arm back sharply, tearing two semi-transparent phantoms out of Void.

In just a few seconds, the phantom image quickly solidified and reformed.

First the skeleton, then the meridians, flesh, and skin, and finally the distinctive Mars appearance.

Thump-thump-

Two vibrant lives, an adult Mars woman and a little girl, landed safely beside the Martian Manhunter.

Their chests began to rise and fall, their warm breath spreading through the air.

On the Marvel side, Reed adjusted his glasses and began recording data on this phenomenon.

Valeria yawned, taking it all in stride; Emma Frost and Betsy didn't even lift an eyelid.

But everyone in the Justice League except Batman was in an uproar.

Knowing that Thor has the means to resurrect people is one thing, but seeing it with your own eyes is quite another.

Superman froze on the spot, his feet unconsciously landing back on the ground, completely losing his balance.

Diana's Sword of Hephaestus veered off course, its tip pointing directly at the ground, as she completely forgot about defense.

Wally, Wally the Flash, stared at the scene with his head in his hands, exclaiming in astonishment, "Oh my god?! Resurrecting the Deadman?! Is this for real?!"

The Martian Manhunter stared silently at the two people so close to him, his body trembling uncontrollably.

" J'onn?" The female Mars tentatively reached out, her fingertips touching his cold cheek.

"Daddy!" The little girl rushed over and hugged his leg tightly.

"It's me, M'yri'ah, K'hym..."

Martian Manhunter knelt down, opened his arms and hugged the two tightly, tears streaming down his face.

Before everyone could recover from this miracle that defied life and death, a plaintive female voice suddenly drifted from above the conference room.

His words were extremely gentle, with a relaxed lightness, yet they clearly penetrated into everyone's ears.

" Thor Odinson, this is the second time you've stolen my client. You're putting me in a very difficult position."
