A long-abandoned corner bar in London.
The wooden door was slammed open with tremendous force, and Barry and the Raven perched on his back tumbled in, landing in a heap on the dusty floor.
His remaining left arm left a long trail of blood and mud on the ground, stretching from the endless dark street outside all the way here.
Inside the bar, an air thick with the smell of cheap alcohol and musty odor filled the air.
"Bollocks!"
A man's voice, thick with London accent, rang out, filled with annoyance at being disturbed.
Behind the bar in the corner, a disheveled blond man in a trench coat was holding a bottle, trying to pour out the last drop of red wine.
Beside him, a gigantic demon with scarlet skin and two horns on his head— Etrigan —was holding an oak barrel and chugging murky beer directly into his mouth, the liquid dripping down his Beast- like chin and soaking the hair on his chest.
John Constantine didn't even see who it was at first glance; he just impatiently tossed the empty bottle aside and pulled another one out of a hidden cabinet.
He skillfully popped the cork off the bottle with his thumb, grabbed a stained glass, and poured himself a drink.
" John! Stop drinking! Come help!"
Raven struggled to get off Barry, and its anxious cries made Constantine pause for a moment.
He rubbed his slightly drunken eyes and finally saw the miserable state of the two people at the door.
A man who has lost his lower body and whose arm is twisted and deformed, and a girl with a pale face and an ominous aura emanating from her body.
"Damn it..." Constantine cursed under his breath, pulled a crumpled cigarette from his trench coat pocket, put it in his mouth, but didn't light it.
With a casual wave of his hand, a crimson Mars appeared out of thin air at the end of the cigarette, and the smoke transformed into a visible rune that drifted toward Barry and disappeared into his severed right arm.
"There's nothing I can do for this kind of injury," he mumbled, then took a deep drag on his cigarette. "At most, I can set the bones; the rest is up to you."
After a faint grinding sound, Barry's twisted right arm was forcibly reset by an invisible force.
The excruciating pain caused him to groan, Speed Force's self-healing factors immediately began to accelerate, repairing the damaged tissue.
Constantine then strolled over, squatted down, exhaled a smoke ring, and looked Barry up and down. " Barry Allen? What happened to you? That son of a bitch Superman... did he abandon you?"
Barry felt the excruciating pain in his arm subsiding rapidly. Using his regained strength, he propped himself up and, without answering Constantine's question, said directly, " John, I need your help."
His words contained no pleasantries, only an unwavering resolve.
"Help me... create another Flashpoint."
Constantine's fingers, holding the cigarette, froze in mid-air. He stared blankly at Barry, then at Raven beside him. "What... Flashpoint?"
Within the League, only Batman and the Flash himself knew about this.
The Raven was able to know because of her special ability to read people's minds.
Barry didn't explain much, but simply raised his hand and pointed to his temple. "You'll see when you look."
"Sounds like a madman..." Constantine cursed a few more times, but still pressed the finger holding the cigarette against Barry's temple.
A pale golden aura of magic emanated from his fingertips and invaded Barry's brain.
In an instant, countless fragments of memories flooded Constantine's mind.
The tragic death of his mother, the wrongful imprisonment of his father, the joy of becoming the Flash, the fateful entanglement with Reverse-Flash, and... the apocalypse known as " Flashpoint " that he caused in order to save his mother.
He saw another world, a world where Amazons and Atlantis dragged the world into a war-torn Hell, a Metropolis without Superman, and... an old Batman with a gun.
Constantine's body jolted, and his fingers flicked away from Barry's temple.
He stood there, silent for a full half minute.
The cigarette butt fell to the ground and burned through the surface of his worn-out shoes, but he was completely unaware.
He raised his head, not looking at Barry, but at the air, and in an extremely suppressed tone, he cursed, word by word:
" Bruce... Wayne... you fucking..."
He figured it out.
Everything is connected.
When Darkseid's Parademons tore through the sky, Zatanna was right in front of him, Doomsday.
Why didn't he intervene? Why did he just stand by and watch?
It's not that he doesn't want to, it's that he can't!
A force, a damned coercive spell, locked his magic the instant he was about to cast a spell.
Now he knows, it's Batman!
That bastard must have deduced something from Flashpoint's memories. He knows how dangerous Zatanna's power is, so he gave Xiao Zha a hint beforehand, or directly through Xiao Zha, he also put himself on a damn insurance policy!
Constantine's teeth were grinding together.
He turned and stared intently at Barry: "What if we fail? What if we try again, and the world is completely destroyed, and we all become Void?"
"Then let's all perish together." Barry answered with unusual calm, even a hint of relief. "Anyway... it can't get any worse."
Constantine looked into Barry's calm blue eyes and suddenly laughed, a somewhat neurotic laugh.
"I knew it! Anyone who hangs out with Batman is a fucking lunatic!"
"You're right, Constantine."
A cool, clear female voice came from the bar entrance, interrupting him.
"We've been crazy for ages, haven't we?"
Constantine, Barry, and Raven all looked toward the doorway.
Suddenly, a group of people appeared there. Leading them was a woman with striking red hair, dressed in a black Batsuit — Batwoman, Kate Kane.
Beside her stood Barbara Gordon, also dressed in Batsuit, the resolute-looking Commissioner Gordon, and a man wearing a red hood, exuding a violent aura.
Between them stood a blond man in casual clothes and a woman in black, with a gentle yet intimidating aura.
Behind them stood a black-haired girl with a cold expression, dressed in Krypton armor, her fists clenched tightly.
Death, Thor, and Kara from the Flashpoint Universe.
Barry's gaze swept over everyone else and landed fixedly on the blond man's face.
That face was both familiar and strange, as if it came from a distant, forgotten dream.
"You..."
Thor ignored everyone else, walked straight through the crowd, and went to Barry's side.
He crouched down, reached out, and patted Barry's still relatively unharmed shoulder heavily.
" Barry, I remember saying, see you in the future."
Thor's voice wasn't loud, but it carried clearly throughout the dilapidated bar. He looked at Barry's mutilated body and raised an eyebrow.
How did you end up like this?
