As soon as Strange finished speaking, the space behind him was like a canvas ripped open by a sharp blade, a pitch-black crack suddenly appearing.
Silver Surfer and Wong tensed instantly, and the Rings of Raggadorr and Cosmic Energy lit up simultaneously.
Strange's spirit also quickly floated upwards, warily watching the ominous crack.
A woman dressed in a gothic-style black halter top was the first to emerge from the door. She had pale skin and a distinctive teardrop-shaped line under her eye, and the Anka cross pendant around her neck swayed gently with her steps.
She looked around, her eyes filled with pure curiosity, as if this post-apocalyptic ruin was some kind of interesting tourist attraction.
Immediately afterwards, a tall figure peeked out from behind her, almost entirely hidden in the woman's shadow, revealing only familiar blond hair and a face that was identical to Thor's.
The three people inside the Sanctum Sanctorum were about to make a move when they froze upon seeing the newcomer's appearance.
" Thor?" Strange's spirit floated down, his translucent eyebrows furrowed. "Weren't you fed to the zombies by Invisible Woman Susan...?"
Thor didn't answer; he simply raised his head, his azure eyes sweeping over Strange, Wong, and the Silver Surfer.
An invisible spiritual force surged forth like a tide, gently brushing through the minds of the three.
In an instant, he had a complete view of all the information in the universe, from the Big Bang to the current zombie siege.
Thor's heart skipped a beat.
He finally understood why Death Tetiyu, that voyeur, had warned him that it was best not to come to this universe to join the fun.
This universe is one of the few where the God of Symbiotes Knull still has some prestige.
Although Grey was ultimately defeated by Phoenix Jean's "head pat" and deus ex machina, this did not diminish Knull immense power at this point in time.
Unlike other universes, the God of Symbiotes is utterly incompetent.
Even that God Butcher, Gorr, wields the All-Black the Necrosword better than he, the proper blacksmith.
Even more outrageous, in some universes, Knull was even imprisoned by Hela like a dog, his status so low that he was no different from a grunt.
If my memory serves me right, the Zombie Phoenix should be about to be born at this point in time.
After her birth, she will immediately devour one of the Beyonder's clones.
Tetiyu was right. Classic Loki really couldn't cause much trouble in this universe. He was most likely swept into that place called " Battleworld " along with the Avengers.
Although he was confident he could infiltrate, the Beyonder's clone was still wandering around outside.
As the saying goes, "the nail that sticks out gets hammered down," and whoever comes out first gets shot.
It's better to keep a low profile and be a little sneaky.
Having figured everything out, Thor withdrew his mental energy, forced what he thought was a very friendly smile, and looked at Strange other two:
"I'm from another universe. My good-for-nothing brother somehow ended up in this godforsaken place and got captured and taken to some ' Battleworld.' I heard you guys talking about going to find Thanos; maybe we can cooperate."
"Cooperation?" Strange's spirit crossed its translucent arms, scrutinizing him suspiciously. "How do we cooperate?"
"I should be able to remove the zombie virus from your body."
The moment Thor uttered those words, the entire Sanctum Sanctorum a deathly silence.
Wang nearly dropped the magic shield in his hand, and a hint of surprise flashed in the Silver Surfer's silver eyes.
Strange's spirit almost lost its balance, swaying for a moment before staring intently at Thor: "What did you say?"
"I said, I can heal your physical body," Thor shrugged and explained.
"Don't be so surprised. I've been to other Zombie Universe, and the viruses there are much more advanced than yours, so dealing with them... well, it's easy."
"Can you turn everyone back?!" Wang took a step forward excitedly, his voice trembling.
Thor shook his head, pouring cold water on the situation:
"Not for now. Knull is still lurking in the shadows. Helping you get rid of the virus is just a small matter, not a big deal. But if all the zombies on an entire planet suddenly return to normal, do you think the mastermind behind it all will sense something's wrong and come and slap us all to death?"
Upon hearing the name " Knull," both Strange and the Silver Surfer's expressions darkened.
They exchanged a glance, clearly understanding what the name represented.
"Alright," Strange's spirit nodded slowly, accepting the explanation. "Then what do you need us to do?"
"I'm not the Thor you know," Thor began, spouting nonsense with a straight face. "I'm not good at fighting, really. But I can heal your injuries and keep you in top condition at all times."
After hearing Strange, Strange's eyes showed even more suspicion.
He felt that Thor was lying, but after examining him more closely, he found that while the other man's life energy was vast as the sea, his divine power as Thor was pitifully weak, almost like a newly awakened Asgard recruit.
Is she really a nanny version of Thor?
Ultimately, Strange chose to believe him. "Okay. Deal."
Thor grinned and walked to the Vishanti magic circle.
He stretched out his hand, his fingertips swirling with two completely different laws of power.
One represents an endless, devouring hunger; the other represents vibrant life.
He first activated the Law of Hunger to forcibly "devour" the source of the virus originating from the Fearsome Four within the Strange's body, and then immediately infused it with a vast Law of Life to repair the flesh and nerves eroded by the virus.
In the center of the magic circle, the body that was frantically gnawing at the floor began to convulse violently.
His ashen skin regained its color at a visible speed, his cloudy pupils regained their light of wisdom, his broken tooth roots mixed with black blood were spat out, and new teeth grew rapidly.
A few seconds later, Strange's body stopped struggling.
He shook his head, sat up from the floor, and looked blankly at his intact hands, then at his spirit self floating in mid-air.
The spirit transformed into a beam of blue light and instantly entered the physical body.
Stephen Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme, has officially returned.
He stood up, stretched his limbs, and then looked at Thor with a complicated expression.
Then, Thor walked up to the Silver Surfer and used the Law of Life to repair the cracks on his body and the damage to his internal energy circulation.
Just as the three recovered and were about to discuss how to get to Titan to find Thanos, Death Tetiyu, who had been quietly watching the show, walked up behind Thor.
She reached out her pale hand and gently placed it on Thor's shoulder, her tone tinged with amusement:
"Hey, isn't this our 'not good at fighting' Thor? Tell me, what fun things would happen if I told them your true strength?"
Thor stiffened for a moment, then reached out and slapped Tetiyu's hand away impatiently. "Stop messing around. You said it yourself, this universe is a deep and complex place. Can't I be a little sneaky?"
"Yes, you're sleazy." Tetiyu nodded, walked around to face Thor, tilted her head, played with her black nails, and said lightly, "I remember, you ate 'imported seafood' a few days ago, and you seemed to enjoy it quite a bit!"
The moment the words "imported seafood" were uttered, the smile on Thor's face froze instantly.
He was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, his fur standing on end, staring at Tetiyu in shock and anger.
"You perverted freak! How much did you see?!"
"I didn't want to either," Tetiyu said, spreading her hands innocently.
"But your city is so small, I could see it with just a glance, what could I do? Besides, I never expected you to be like that old Zeus."
Thor was completely confused by her words: "What do you mean?"
Tetiyu leaned closer to him and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "You don't even spare your own sister."
boom!
Thor's face instantly turned as black as the bottom of a pot. He stared intently at the woman in front of him, who seemed to thrive on chaos, and squeezed out a sentence through gritted teeth. "I think you'd be better off going back to your DC Universe."
Seeing that he was genuinely annoyed, Tetiyu immediately put on a pitiful expression, her eyes brimming with tears, as if she were about to burst into them at any moment.
"I don't even know who it was that promised to travel the multiverse with me back then. And now, after such a short time, they've changed their minds... You, you really are a scumbag!"
