Facing this group of deformed monsters that reeked of a strong stench, Thor swung Hammerhead hammer, crackling with electricity.
He took a step forward, striking what he considered his coolest pose, and with all his might, let out a roar that resounded through the heavens, "For Asgard! For the glory of the Northern Gods!!!"
Before he finished speaking, he transformed into a bolt of lightning and charged forward like a brute possessed.
Then--
"Bang!"
Thump!
Two dull thuds sounded almost simultaneously.
The Zombie Hulk and the Zombie Thing at the forefront didn't even bother with any special moves; they simply extended their fists simultaneously.
One was green, the other orange, like two out-of-control trucks, which slammed into Thor solidly.
Before Thor could finish shouting "Glory," he was sent flying back at three times the speed he had come, tracing an arc through the air before crashing heavily into a pile of rubble, kicking up clouds of dust.
The entire room fell silent for a second.
Strange and the Silver Surfer were speechless.
You struggled so much against Beta Ray Bill just now, what are you going to do going up there to throw your life away against so many stronger guys?
Is it performance art?
As for the Grandmaster, he had disappeared into some corner the moment the Zombie Fantastic Four entered, and not a hair on his head could be seen.
"Roar--!"
The Zombie Hulk was clearly not satisfied with that punch. He pounded his rotting chest and charged toward the ruins, seemingly wanting to tear Thor out and rip him in two.
"Your opponent is me." Silver Surfer flashed and stood in front of Hulk. His surfboard drew a strange arc under his feet, and countless energy rays burst from his fingertips, like dense raindrops, constantly harassing Hulk and Thing, using his extreme mobility to firmly attract the attention of the two big guys.
On the other side, Strange drew circles with his hands, and two dazzling magical whips lashed out, precisely ensnaring Zombie Mister Fantastic Reed who was constantly elongating his body and trying to sneak up from the ceiling.
Meanwhile, the Zombie Invisible Woman Susan, appeared and disappeared intermittently nearby, attempting to attack with her energy shield. However, Strange seemed to have eyes in the back of his head, always able to anticipate her attacks and block them all with small magical shields.
He completely ignored Reed's rambling about the "molecular structure of fresh flesh" and focused intently on carrying two people at once.
At the heart of the battle, ironically, lies the most eerie calm.
Thanos, having collected Six Infinity Stones, did not rush to make a move.
His gaze was fixed on the Zombie Doctor Doom, who wore a green Cloak and had half his face covered by a metal mask.
He sensed that the energy fluctuations emanating from this zombie were extremely strange.
At times, his power surged to the point where he seemed to threaten himself, who wielded the Infinity Gauntlet; at other times, he weakened to the point of being as insignificant as an ant on the roadside.
This highly unstable state caused Thanos, who was cautious by nature, to feel intense unease.
Just as the battlefield was in chaos, Tetiyu walked gracefully past the pile of shredded flesh and arrived at the crater that Thor had just created.
She looked at Thor, who was crawling out covered in dust and dirt, a slight smile playing on her lips, "You overdid it, didn't you?"
"Not at all." Thor dusted himself off, picked up the Stormbreaker that had fallen to the side, and said with a serious expression.
"This is the Marvel Comics Universe. That Zombie Doom, and Thanos who collected all six Infinity Stones, I feel like they both have at least Multiverse Level power."
He looked at Tetiyu and lowered his voice. "Don't tell me you can't tell."
Tetiyu's smile faded slightly, and she nodded. "Of course I felt it; it was that rubber man who did it."
Thor's heart skipped a beat.
"Huh?" Tetiyu seemed to have discovered some new and interesting toy, her gaze piercing through the chaotic battlefield and landing precisely on Doctor Doom.
"I saw it. It looks like that rubber man has a nanometer-scale device attached to Doctor Doom, which is continuously transferring the Cosmic Energy absorbed by Doom into the antimatter realm."
Thor paused for a moment.
He never expected that Mister Fantastic Reed Richards would be able to scheme against Doctor Doom, even after he himself had turned into a zombie.
Sure enough, this notorious troublemaker in the multiverse experiences an exponential increase in intelligence whenever he becomes a villain.
When they're being upright, their behavior is truly indescribable.
"Can the Infinity Gauntlet solve this virus?" Thor looked to the other side of the battlefield, where the purple figure was still confronting Doom.
Tetiyu thought for a moment, then gently shook his head:
"It can be solved, but it's not a permanent solution. As long as that God of Symbiotes exists, even if you heal them here, they'll be reinfected the next second, and you can just start over. Besides..."
She glanced at Thanos. "That Titans's power isn't enough for him to use the power of the Six Infinity Stones without paying a price."
Thor realized that there was no way Thanos could solve the problem with a the Snap.
Just then, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Zombie Reed bound by Strange's magical whip, whose rubber-band-like neck twisted into an unbelievable angle, opening its mouth wide and biting at the back of Strange's neck!
Without a second thought, Thor flung the hammer from his hand.
"Bang!"
The hammer struck Reed precisely on the back of the head, the immense force sending him flying into a pile of mud as he crashed into a wall some distance away.
Strange glanced back, gave Thor a look that said, "At least you're still somewhat useful," and then continued to focus on dealing with the Invisible Woman.
Thor shrugged, picked up the hammer that had flown back, and rejoined the battle, continuing to coast along, occasionally lending a hand to Strange and the Silver Surfer, looking like a hardworking but incompetent ordinary helper.
The battle was only halfway through when, "Boom!"
Another loud bang!
A strangely shaped Quinjet crashed into the other side of the palace wall in a suicidal maneuver, belching black smoke as it landed in the center of the main hall.
The hatch burst open, and a Legion figures rushed out.
Leading the group was Zombie Captain America wielding a shield but missing an arm.
Beside him stood Zombie Iron Man, his armor tattered and revealing rotting flesh beneath; Zombie She-Hulk, Zombie Daredevil in a red bodysuit... More than a dozen former superheroes had now become monsters who only knew how to devour flesh.
The entire hall was instantly surrounded by a huge crowd.
Thor was horrified when he saw this.
As he dodged the shield thrown by the Zombie Captain America, he sidled up to Strange and whispered, "Hey, mage, maybe... we should just run?"
Strange's forehead veins throbbed. He conjured a massive magical shield, blocking a barrage of energy and physical attacks, and retorted irritably, "Weren't you having a good time just now?"
"Fighting fiercely doesn't mean you can't run!" Thor righteously. "A wise man doesn't fight a losing battle; there are just too many of them!"
He secretly gestured towards Thanos's direction with his lip. "Anyway, there's still a big guy holding things up here, isn't there?"
However, no sooner had Thor finished speaking than...
Completely enraged by the endless swarm of zombies, Thanos finally lost his patience.
He didn't want to play any more standoff games with Doom.
"Enough!"
With a roar, Thanos raised his left hand high.
The Six Infinity Stones on the Infinity Gauntlet instantly erupted with an unprecedentedly brilliant light!
An indescribable torrent of will, centered on Thanos, swept across the entire Sakaar arena!
All the zombies froze at that moment.
Their cloudy eyes began to clear, their rotting skin returned to normal at a visible speed, and their torn wounds began to heal...
In less than two minutes, everyone in the palace, except for Thor and his group, returned to their original appearance.
Reed, Susan, Hulk, Captain America... they stared blankly at their hands, then looked around, completely bewildered as to what was happening.
However, before they could even raise a question—
An extreme, pure darkness, as if seeping in from another dimension, instantly enveloped the entire palace!
The darkness was colder than the deepest void of the universe, carrying a hunger that devoured all life.
The heroes, who had just recovered, instantly showed extreme pain on their faces.
Their skin began to fester again, their eyes became cloudy once more, and they emitted inhuman roars.
This time, however, the dark aura emanating from them was more than ten times stronger than before!
The power has also become even greater!
Strange's expression finally changed as he watched this. He looked at Thor and said gravely, "Alright, you're right, Thor, we should run."
Without further hesitation, he swiftly drew a huge, circular portal in front of him, shimmering with golden sparks.
On the other side of the door, there was a familiar view of Earth.
" Silver Surfer! Let's go!" Strange shouted, pulling Tetiyu along with him.
Thor immediately followed, but just before stepping into the portal, he suddenly shouted, "Wait!"
Everyone paused.
Thor's figure blurred for a fleeting moment, so fast that almost no one saw what he did. Then he immediately turned and rushed into the portal. "Alright, let's go!"
Strange was filled with doubt, but he didn't have time to ask any more questions and immediately closed the portal.
The golden sparks dissipated, and the four figures disappeared from Sakaar.
Thor, meanwhile, discreetly opened his palm as he passed through the spatial portal. He was internally screaming, "Are you kidding me? What if Thanos gets infected too? That would be disastrous!"
In his palm, a gem emitting a soft orange light lay quietly.
With so many Infinity Stones, if I just randomly pick one,... no one should notice, right?
