Onslaught tilted his head, looking at the red-haired girl in front of him with great interest, as if examining an interesting collectible.
"So you are Jean Grey of this universe." He spoke, his voice ringing directly in Jean's mind, carrying a condescending tone.
"How familiar this scene is. I recruited you once, but you refused and even used the Hulk to almost tear me apart. So, are you ready to face the pain, little bird?"
Qin's brain was buzzing.
What recruitment? What Hulk?
What nonsense is this guy spouting?
But she didn't have time to think it through; a deeper fear gripped her.
She could clearly feel that the phoenix phantom she had released with all her might vanished the moment it hit the other person's body, like a mud ox sinking into the sea.
That energy wasn't destroyed, but rather... absorbed.
The invisible psionic armor on her body was like a greedy black hole, relentlessly draining her power.
No, it wasn't just her power; even her mind and consciousness were being pulled and devoured by that terrifying force.
"Ah!" Qin let out a painful growl, clutching her head tightly, feeling as if her Soul Stone was being torn in two.
Just then, Mighty Thor Jane, finally regained control of Mjolnir.
Seeing Qin's pained expression, she cursed inwardly.
"Hey! Look this way!" Jane shouted angrily, raising the pink Mjolnir's hammer high.
The sky instantly darkened, dark clouds gathered, and streaks of pink lightning tore through the clouds like spears of divine punishment, bombarding the Onslaught onslaught!
However, faced with this devastating thunderstorm, Onslaught didn't even lift an eyelid.
He simply waved his hand impatiently.
A bizarre scene unfolded.
The raging lightning, upon contacting an invisible area in front of him, seemed to be muted the instant it struck; all the sound, light, and electrical effects vanished, transforming into countless emerald green leaves that fluttered down gently.
Jane's pupils contracted sharply.
What kind of ability is this? Changing reality?
Before she could even recover from the shock, an irresistible force gripped her neck.
At the same time, another invisible hand grabbed Qin's throat, lifting both of them into the air.
They struggled desperately, but felt as if they were sandwiched between two mountains, making it incredibly difficult to even breathe.
On the other side of the battlefield, Tony Stark, who was wrestling with a giant demon, caught a glimpse of this scene out of the corner of his eye.
"Damn it!" he cursed.
His opponent, Mephisto, the Lord of Hell, had completely lost his previous human form.
He transformed into a nearly five-meter-tall red demon, his muscles bulging, two horns sprouting from his head, his once-perfect suit now ripped to shreds, leaving only a few tattered pieces of cloth hanging from his body.
The enormous claws clashed with Tony's massive armored arms, producing a piercing metallic scraping sound.
This Mephisto is the essence of this universe, a genuine dimensional demon.
Tony knew that even wearing the strongest " Godkiller " armor, he could only achieve temporary suppression; a quick victory or even a kill was impossible.
But his expression was grim, not just because the battle was intense.
[Sir, a reality-distorting energy fluctuation of the same origin as Franklin Richards has been detected on the target " Onslaught ".] JARVIS's calm voice sounded inside the helmet.
Franklin Richards.
Tony's heart sank.
That incredible kid from Fantastic Four, Omega-level Mutant can create his Pocket Universe at will.
He finally understood why the helmeted guy felt the same as Apocalypse, and even more bizarre and troublesome in some ways.
The root of the problem is right here!
He really wants to rush into the Fantastic Four universe, grab Reed Richards by the collar, and ask him, "How on earth did someone take away Franklin's incredible abilities?"
But now is clearly not the time to think about these things.
The balance of power on the battlefield has been broken, and Jane and Qin are on the verge of collapse.
" Wanda!" Tony suddenly increased the power output of his armor, knocking Mephisto back half a step, and roared towards the sky, "It's your time to save the day again!"
No sooner had he finished speaking than a crimson streak of light descended from the sky, as fast as lightning.
A figure dressed in a red Sorcerer Supreme robe appeared instantly beside Tony.
Wanda Maximoff didn't even glance at Tony; she simply extended her pale hand and gently pushed Mephisto away as he roared and lunged at her again.
"Get out of here."
A pure, tyrannical burst of Chaos Magic erupted instantly, slamming into Mephisto's chest.
The five-meter-tall demon's body, as if struck by an invisible planet, let out a scream and was sent flying backward, crashing into rows of abandoned buildings in the distance.
Immediately afterwards, Wanda didn't even look at the results, and just flicked her finger.
Not far away, the Scarlet Witch, who had just been defeated and controlled by Mephisto and was also radiating chaotic energy, froze instantly.
Countless crimson rune chains emerged from the void, binding her tightly and forming an inescapable magical cage that hovered in mid-air.
After doing all this, Wanda turned around, and in a flash, appeared directly in front of Onslaught.
As he was enjoying the desperate, desperate Onslaught of his two prey, his expression froze when he sensed that familiar chaotic energy.
" Wanda Maximoff?" He laughed contemptuously. "Another lost sheep. I'll take your strength."
As a psionic entity that absorbed Professor X and Magneto and incorporated some of Franklin Richards' abilities, he was confident that he could absorb the energy of any Mutants.
Although Wanda's Chaos Magic is unique, it is still classified by him as a type of mutant ability.
However, the smile on Onslaught's face froze the next second.
He discovered that his vaunted energy absorption ability, the moment it came into contact with Wanda, was like hitting an incomprehensible and unfathomable wall.
That power was not a mutant ability, nor a product of the X-Gene, but a more ancient, purer, and closer-to-the-origin rule...
Not only could he not absorb it, but his own spiritual energy even began to show signs of instability in the face of that power.
"You... you're not Mutants!" For the first time Onslaught's voice carried a hint of horror.
Wanda simply couldn't be bothered to answer him.
She simply waved her hand casually, and the two invisible hands that were gripping Jane and Qin's necks vanished instantly.
Jane and Qin fell to the ground, panting heavily, staring in shock at the red figure hovering in mid-air.
"You all keep an eye on me while I'm being controlled." Wanda didn't even turn her head, her voice cold but carrying an undeniable command. "This guy, leave him to me."
However, she had barely finished speaking.
"Click--"
A piercing sound, like a mirror shattering, rang in everyone's ears.
Everyone turned around in astonishment, only to see the Mirror Dimension that Strange had used to trap Apocalypse shattering into pieces in mid-air, like a broken glass ball.
A tall, blue figure emerged from within, one hand gripping Strange's throat tightly, lifting the former Sorcerer Supreme into the air like a dead dog.
"Thump."
Apocalypse casually tossed Strange to the ground, leaving him covered in wounds and too weak to even stand.
"Come on, Strange," Tony, seeing this from afar, couldn't help but complain over the comms, "Why is it that every time we have a team fight, you manage to sabotage me?"
"Then you should see who I've chosen as my opponent!" Strange, lying on the ground, coughed up blood and roared back defiantly.
Apocalypse stepped out of the Mirror Dimension without even glancing at Strange at his feet.
His gaze immediately bypassed everyone else and landed on Wanda.
Like the Onslaught, he sensed a terrifying power emanating from this young Sorcerer Supreme that posed a threat to their very existence.
The next moment, Onslaught and Apocalypse, two Mutants who are considered the pinnacle of their respective universes—one the progenitor of Mutants, the other Omega-level psionic entity—two monsters who should have been mortal enemies, exchanged a glance.
They reached a consensus.
Two figures, one on the left and one on the right, slowly approached Wanda. The two completely different yet equally terrifying auras began to merge, forming a sense of oppressive despair.
They joined forces.
Simply because their opponent is the Sorcerer Supreme, Wanda Maximoff!
