Ruins at the end of time.
There is no matter, no energy, only a deathly Void and a shattered timeline.
The fractured timeline is like shattered glass, reflecting faces from different eras, and all these faces share a common name: "Kang"!
Pharaoh Kang stood on a suspended cliff.
He raised his right hand, holding a pulsating green-gold light that didn't belong here.
At the heart of the radiance is a fragment of authority.
"We did it!"
His voice echoed in the distorted space-time, carrying an irrepressible fervor.
"Having exhausted the lives of thousands of variants, and utilizing the Ultimate Nullifier and fragments of the Cosmic Cube, we have finally... finally torn a gash in that so-called God of Time!"
Beneath him, countless Kang variants from different dimensions erupted in deafening cheers.
Some of them wore futuristic armor, while others were draped in the robes of ancient emperors, but at this moment, their eyes burned with the same greed.
Pharaoh Kang looked at the spoils in his hands, the Time Authority that had been stripped from Loki.
He could sense the immense power contained within it.
He thought of Immortus, the self-proclaimed " Immortus," the fool who hid in the Limbo Dimension and thought he had everything under control.
"That old codger Immortus, who only knows how to scheme behind the scenes, what does he know about conquest?" Pharaoh Kang's voice was full of contempt. "He used us as pawns, as tools to clean up the timeline. But now, look at what we have in our hands!"
He raised the fragments of power even higher.
"The era belonging to Kang has officially returned, starting today!"
The enthusiastic cheers lasted for less than a second.
The Centurion Kang closest to Pharaoh Kang had a flash of red light in his eyes, and he raised his hand to shoot a high-energy particle beam toward Pharaoh Kang's back.
"Hand it over!"
The sneak attack failed.
Pharaoh Kang didn't even turn his head; an energy barrier automatically blocked the attack.
But this is like a signal.
The cheers instantly turned into a bloodbath.
"It's mine!"
"Only I, Nathan Richards, have the right to control time!"
Kill them all!
In an instant, this graveyard of time was transformed into a primitive slaughterhouse.
Countless Kang variants ruthlessly killed their own variations in order to seize even the slightest fragment of power.
They know each other too well.
Each player knows the weaknesses, tactics, and trump cards of the other player.
Every second here, dozens or even hundreds of Kangs are erased.
They transformed into a string of meaningless code on the timeline, and then vanished completely.
Pharaoh Kang watched all of this with cold eyes.
These greedy fools are exactly like him.
But that's Kang—he can never truly unite people; he's always consumed by his own ambition.
He remained completely unmoved.
These variants were intended as consumables, the price to test authority, and... to purge house.
He gave a look to several of his key allies.
There is a Kang dressed in papal robes, a Kang whose entire body has been mechanically modified, and a Kang who looks like a teenager, known as " Iron Lad ".
They understood and simultaneously activated the devices on their wrists.
A deep blue portal tore open behind them. Beyond the portal lay stable, secure spacetime coordinates.
"Let's go." Pharaoh Kang did not hesitate at all.
He wanted to leave with this largest fragment of power and find a place to completely digest it.
When he returns, he will be the only Kang, the true Lord of Time.
As for these infighting scum, let them rot here.
He was about to step into the portal.
Just then...
The entire ruins suddenly shook.
It wasn't a physical tremor, but rather that all the distorted timelines and all the shattered Law of Space were forcibly straightened and smoothed out by an incomprehensible, terrifying force at this moment.
It's as if an invisible hand has gripped the neck of this space-time continuum.
All the warriors who were engaged in fierce combat paused for a moment.
They felt a fear stemming from their very survival instincts.
Pharaoh Kang suddenly looked up.
A glimmer of light appeared in the Void before the portal.
A glimmer of reddish-gold light.
The light rapidly expanded, transforming into an extremely violent bolt of lightning.
Amidst the thunder, black and gold axe beams intertwined and flashed, carrying the heavy aura of thirty kinds of cosmic laws.
That wasn't just a simple energy attack.
That was... a strike at "existence" itself.
Pharaoh Kang's pupils contracted; he wanted to hide, to activate the time shield, to do something.
But there was nothing he could do.
boom!!!
The black and gold axe blade cleaved down without any resistance.
There was no violent explosion, only a deathly Oblivion of annihilation.
The portal, along with all the space, time, and laws within several kilometers around it, was cleaved into dust from the conceptual level by this axe.
The violent energy aftershocks spread out, and dozens of nearby Kondratiev variants didn't even have time to scream before they were reduced to Void in the clash of the laws.
Pharaoh Kang and several of his key allies were thrown backward by the shockwave, crashing heavily into the broken wall of the void.
His Pharaoh armor crackled with dangerous sparks, its energy level instantly dropping below the red line.
What happened?
What kind of power is this?
His mind was in complete chaos.
This was not the power of the council, nor was it the attack method of any cosmic entity he knew.
This kind of unreasonable fighting style, which combines more than thirty top-level laws and uses them like a brick... he had never heard of it before.
The smoke and dust, along with the shattered fragments of the laws, slowly dissipated.
A tall figure emerged step by step from the cleaved Void.
He carried a black and gold battle axe on his shoulder, the blade dripping with a golden, blood-like energy liquid.
The visitor was none other than Thor.
His face showed no anger, no roaring, only a chilling, sinister smile.
That smile was a mixture of bloodthirsty excitement and the pleasure of finding prey.
His gaze swept across the entire area, finally settling on Pharaoh Kang, who was struggling to his feet.
"You moved my brother's chair and you think you can just run away?"
Thor's voice wasn't loud, but it reached the ears of every surviving Kang clearly.
He moved his neck, making a cracking sound.
"Let me see," he grinned, revealing a set of pearly white teeth, "How many lives do you have that I can chop up?"
