"Sign a contract with me?"
Thor almost laughed in exasperation when he heard the voice echoing in his mind.
Is this devil out of his mind? They've fought this badly, and he's still running a pyramid scheme?
He stealthily took two steps toward Franklin beside him, lowered his voice, and whispered, "Hey bro, can you immediately step into the Omniverse Level and give him a couple of punches? Looking at him like this, my fists are itching to punch him."
Franklin glanced at him, as if he were an idiot.
"Do you think entering the Omniverse Level is as easy as eating and drinking? You think you can just walk in like that?" He lowered his voice as well. "If you can catch someone Beyonders for me, I won't even ask, I'll immediately hang him up and beat him to a pulp."
Upon hearing this, Thor shook his head even faster.
"Never mind then."
Are you kidding me?
If he could easily capture someone Beyonders, then in the entire Marvel Universe, probably no one could stand against him. Why would he need to waste his time here with a lord of Hell?
Since taking shortcuts won't work, we'll have to go all out.
The two exchanged another glance; their unspoken understanding was beyond words.
superior!
Franklin opened his arms wide; this time, he no longer clenched his fists with one hand.
The ruins of time, all concepts of existence, began to collapse madly around Mephisto.
Matter, energy, laws, and even "existence" itself are forcibly stripped away, to be completely erased from reality.
Thor's movements were almost synchronized.
He stopped with those fancy fusions of all laws and instead poured all his power, the purest Law of Power, into the Golden Battle Axe.
On the battle axe, the lightning was contained to the extreme, leaving only a deep darkness that seemed capable of swallowing all light.
There was no thunderous roar, only an unwavering determination.
Another axe blow!
Faced with a combined attack that was far more powerful than before, Mephisto's expression finally changed slightly.
His elegance was no longer merely superficial; it had taken on a touch of whimsy.
"This is getting interesting."
He put down his wine glass, letting it float in the air.
He raised his hands and drew a circle in front of him.
Crimson Hellfire erupted, instantly transforming into a rapidly spinning vortex of flames.
Franklin's reality distortion power and Thor's ultimate axe strike crashed into that vortex almost simultaneously.
This time, it didn't disappear without a trace like before.
"Boom--!"
An indescribable, enormous shock spread outwards from the point of impact in all directions.
Thor and Franklin were thrown backward by the recoil.
Mephisto, however, only took half a step back.
He looked at the energy at the center of the vortex of flames, which was somewhat unstable due to being torn apart by two forces, and his smile deepened.
The next moment, he reached into the whirlpool and pulled out his hand.
He actually pulled out those violent, universe-destroying forces and kneaded them into a ball.
Hellfire surged in, turning the energy crimson and shaping it into a gigantic, blazing skull.
"Roar!"
The skull let out a silent roar, carrying the power of Thor and Franklin themselves, and retaliated!
"Careful!"
Franklin's expression changed, and he crossed his arms in front of him, instantly forming a blue shield made of pure reality energy.
The flaming skull slammed heavily against the shield.
The shield emitted a cracking sound as it struggled to withstand the strain, and the cracks spread rapidly, but it managed to hold on for a while.
But Thor wasn't so lucky.
He had just used all his strength to swing the axe, and it was precisely at this moment that his old strength was exhausted and new strength had not yet arisen.
Faced with this incredibly fast counterattack, he could only hastily hold the Golden Battle Axe horizontally in front of his chest.
boom!
An irresistible force surged through him; he felt as if he had been struck head-on by a planet.
He was sent flying backward like a cannonball, his armor shattering inch by inch. A metallic taste rose in his mouth, and his vision went black; he almost fainted on the spot.
The difference in their levels of understanding was fully revealed at this moment.
" Thor!"
Seeing this, Franklin hurriedly wanted to go and help.
But this moment of distraction gave Mephisto his chance.
"You dare to be distracted while fighting me?"
Mephisto's voice rang in his ears, and Franklin's heart skipped a beat. He turned around and saw a hand engulfed in Hellfire pressed against his chest.
"Puff!"
Franklin also coughed up blood as a cold, domineering force invaded his body, sending him flying and crashing heavily a short distance away.
In the blink of an eye, both of them were seriously injured.
Just as Mephisto was preparing to press his advantage and finish off these two interesting "collectibles," his expression suddenly changed.
He lowered his head and looked at his own body, a look of astonishment and disbelief appearing on his demonic face for the first time.
He could feel the immense power within him, accumulated from devouring countless variants, rapidly dissipating, and his foundation beginning to falter.
He suddenly looked up at Loki on the throne.
What did you do to me?!
Loki finally shifted his gaze completely away from those timelines and focused entirely on Mephisto.
His voice remained as calm as ever, as if he were recounting a trivial matter.
"It's very simple. I simply erased all the variants you devoured, along with their timelines and Hell dimensions, before you succeeded."
Mephisto's pupils suddenly contracted.
"Are you insane?!" His voice was filled with disbelief. "You only got this position to stabilize the forests of the multiverse, and now you dare to destroy so many universes with your own hands?"
"I've never been a good person, Mephisto," Loki said calmly. "You should know that in most universes, I'm just a villain."
"I can give all beings the opportunity to retain their free will, so that they will not be pruned for trying to defy fate. But that doesn't mean I don't know what's important and what's urgent."
He looked at Mephisto, his eyes completely unmoved.
"To eliminate you, an Omniverse Level threat, at the cost of hundreds of timelines, is a worthwhile trade-off for me."
Mephisto's face turned extremely ugly.
He now has to do everything in his power to stabilize the power within his body and forcibly retain the dissipating energy sources, leaving him with no ability to attack Thor and the others.
Thor was struggling to heal his injuries using the Law of Life when he heard this, and his opinion of Loki was renewed once again.
That's ruthless.
To eliminate a single enemy, he casually crushed hundreds of universes.
This is the kind of work God should do.
However, before he could even catch his breath, another unexpected event occurred on the other side of the battlefield.
"Boom!"
A golden figure flew back at an even faster speed than Thor had just been, carving a long trench in the ruins of time before crashing heavily beside Thor.
It's Jean Grey.
She transformed back into human form, the phoenix flames on her body dimmed to an extreme degree, as if they might be extinguished at any moment.
"Puff..."
She coughed up a mouthful of blood tinged with golden flames, her face as pale as paper.
She looked at Thor, her eyes full of apology.
"I'm sorry, Thor... I couldn't stop him."
Thor disregarded his own safety and immediately diverted a portion of his Law of Life into Jean and Franklin, who was standing nearby, to help stabilize their injuries.
He looked in Loki's direction and reassured him, "It's alright, he's here."
The words had barely left his mouth.
A massive green figure, so large it obscured everyone's view, appeared before them.
The puppet Hulk, controlled by OBA's power, exuded an aura of destruction.
His empty eyes did not look at the seriously injured Thor, Jyn, and Franklin.
He didn't even glance at Mephisto, who was doing his best to stabilize his power.
His goal has been singular from the very beginning.
It is that figure sitting at the end of time, unable to leave the throne.
"Roar!!!"
The puppet Hulk let out a roar that shook the entire ruins of time. With a powerful leap, its massive body transformed into a green meteor, charging straight toward Loki on the golden throne!
