The air grew quiet again.
All eyes were on Madelyne, Cable, Scott, and Jean, clearly eager to get some juicy gossip.
Upon hearing Thor's words, Scott froze on the spot, his eyes darting around in a panic, unsure where to look. He dared not look at Madelyne, nor at Cable, and could only manage a dry, stammering sentence:
" Madelyne, Nathan..."
He stopped mid-sentence. He owed the mother and son so much, and despite his deep remorse and regret, he didn't know how to express it.
Madelyne's face instantly turned as cold as a block of ice. She glanced at Scott, her eyes filled with undisguised disgust.
She then looked at the Cable, a faint, almost imperceptible tenderness flashing in her eyes, but she quickly suppressed it.
She turned her head, her tone cold, a mocking smile playing on her lips, and said icily, "Professor, mind your own business. It's over between him and me a long time ago, from the day he abandoned me."
Cable listened quietly, glancing first at Madelyne, then at Scott, before finally speaking calmly.
"I do know about our relationship, but now is not the time to talk about that. We are not completely safe yet."
Seeing the somewhat delicate situation, Phoenix Jean gently patted Scott's arm, signaling him to calm down, then looked at Madelyne and Cable and said in a calm tone,
"Don't worry about that now, let's get out of danger first. We can talk about these things later."
She could clearly sense Madelyne's resentment, Scott's guilt, and Cable's aloofness, but now was not the time to discuss these things.
Thor looked at the four of them with some disappointment. There was no fight going on. How boring. He had even deliberately stirred things up.
Scott had just looked up when he caught this scene, his lips twitched slightly, and he was completely at a loss for words.
Professor, what are you disappointed about?
" Betsy! I'm so glad you're okay!"

Iceman Bobby knelt down before Thor with a thud.
" Bobby, you are all my children, this is what I should do, isn't it?"
"When Anna wakes up, don't miss this great opportunity! How about having a daughter to be my granddaughter?"
Thor used his telekinesis to lift Iceman Bobby, pointed out the way, and even made a joke about it.
"Professor... I will."
Bobby was clearly embarrassed, his ears were bright red, and he carried Anna to the side to rest.
"Professor, Magneto is in danger too. Should we go help him?"
Scott finally calmed himself down and said to Thor.
