Wang Canxin used Jian Luo and Noah to force Zhou Fan to surrender the Great Xia Night Stars’ command, then took the commander-in-chief’s seat. After burning Zhou Fan’s papers, he ordered Satellite to take him to the International Night Star Headquarters for a meeting.

• Zhou Fan threatened Wang Canxin with molten-metal blades, but Wang remained calm and revealed that Jian Luo and Noah had joined him.
• Jian Luo and Noah restrained Zhou Fan, and Noah explained that Wang had helped him after the Night Star higher-ups abandoned him.

Han Keru, who went by Keke, struggled with life in the Gravekeepers’ signal-free base until Lü Weitian accidentally knocked her down and broke the enclosure for her tarantula, Peter. After Lü Weitian used an unseen force to catch the escaped spider, he offered to take Keke to the logistics area to have the enclosure repaired.

• Keke left her room with Peter, planning to visit the logistics area for mealworms.
• Lü Weitian ran into Keke, knocking her down and breaking Peter’s enclosure.
• Lü Weitian used a mysterious force to catch Peter before the tarantula could crawl away.
• Keke introduced herself as Han Keru, and Lü Weitian introduced himself as Tiantian.

Nan Tian outlined the Light God Society’s plan to seize the Tree of Terra and escort Hela to reunite with the other [Five Calamities] and fuse into [Ultimate]. The group agreed to set out at noon the next day, with Ye Yiqing assigned to protect Hela and the [Four Seasons].

• Nan Tian assigned Aidan, Lin Wushuang, and the girl with bangs over her eyes to scout the Tree of Terra’s location before the main force attacked.
• Lin Wushuang agreed to the assignment after Ye Linwan persuaded him to follow Nan Tian’s arrangements.

The commanders proposed deceiving the public and secretly killing those who knew too much, while Chi Jiu carried the Light God Society toward the United States to meet [Four Seasons].

• Chi Jiu burst from the Antarctic snow and flew toward the United States with Ye Ciqing, Hela, Ye Yiqing, and the Light God Society aboard.
• Ye Yiqing told Hela that [Four Seasons] were in the United States and that [Autumn] had been resurrected with a different personality.
• Wang Canxin entered the international meeting and introduced himself as the commander-in-chief of the Great Xia Night Stars.

Wang Canxin and the Russian commander-in-chief seized control of the Night Stars during a meeting, killing the American and Atan Country commanders and taking the Nihon Nation commander into custody. Wang Canxin ordered [Satellite] to make all Night Stars follow him, while refusing to alert the Gravekeepers to the coming danger.

• Wang Canxin proposed abolishing the Night Stars' senior management system and establishing a new one, provoking the American and Atan Country commanders.
• The Russian commander-in-chief crushed the American commander's attack, backed Wang Canxin's proposal, and killed the American commander when he tried to flee.
• Wang Canxin shot Commander Qiao of Atan Country and ordered the Russian commander-in-chief to take the surrendering Nihon Nation commander away.

Hela and her companions traveled to City A in the United States to find Winter and Autumn, the only members of the Four Seasons there. Hela recognized Winter and was stunned by Autumn as the group approached them in Central Park.

• Hela set out with Yuliu, Ye Yiqing, Tuote, and Weier after Nan Tian explained their mission to find the Four Seasons and head for Ocean.
• Hela and her companions entered City A and walked to the city's largest park after Ye Yiqing confirmed the meeting location.
• Hela spotted Winter and Autumn sitting on a bench in Central Park and hurried toward them.

Hela reunited with [Winter] and met the reborn [Autumn] while they waited for [Summer] and [Spring] to arrive. Ye Yiqing spotted a white-haired man at a hotel, followed him to his room, and confronted him as he met a woman.

• [Winter] greeted Hela and introduced [Autumn], whom Hela teased for being short.
• Ye Yiqing thanked [Winter] and [Autumn] for waiting, then abruptly left after spotting someone in the crowd.
• Hela went to a buffet restaurant, while Yuliu stayed with [Winter] and [Autumn].
• Ye Yiqing tracked a white-haired middle-aged man to a hotel room, where the man was meeting a woman.
• Ye Yiqing burst into the room and told the white-haired man, “You really haven't changed your ways.”

Ye Yiqing tracked down the white-haired man who had abused him as a child and tortured him for information about the people who brought him to the city. After leaving the man unable to call for help, Ye Yiqing realized he had likely been lured away and rushed toward the building’s exterior.

• Ye Yiqing entered the room and killed the woman beside the white-haired man, then cut the man’s legs and demanded to know who he was.
• The white-haired man recognized Ye Yiqing as the son of the woman he had abused, and Ye Yiqing beat him while asking who had sent him and why.
• The man said that unknown people had paid him to stay in the city, but he did not know their purpose.
• Ye Yiqing critically wounded the man, left a phone nearby, called emergency services, and turned off the phone’s location function before leaving.
• As the man failed to speak to emergency services, Ye Yiqing heard someone claim that Night Star could not handle two of the Five Calamities and rushed outside.

Hela questioned whether a person without emotions had any reason to live after hearing a teacher discuss the meaning of life. Delala invited Hela home to talk, and the chapter ended when Hela recognized Delala’s husband as someone she knew.

• Hela overheard a teacher explain that emotions gave life meaning and wondered whether she deserved to live without them.
• Hela approached the teacher, Delala, and asked whether someone without emotions had any meaning in living.
• Delala invited Hela to her home for dinner, where Hela described her inability to cry, grieve, or understand what she liked.

Hela shared a meal with Noah, Delala, and their son Nuonuo, and felt the family’s happiness stir something strange in her. After Delala took Nuonuo away, Noah told Hela that protecting his loved ones gave his life meaning, but he could not answer what remained for someone without feelings.

• Noah returned home with food and greeted Hela, whom he had known in Atan Country before moving to the United States.
• Noah, Delala, Nuonuo, and Hela ate together, and Hela watched the family’s happiness with a strange feeling.
• Noah told Delala that Hela was the person he had spoken about, and Delala took Nuonuo away while quietly sobbing.

Noah told Hela that living and striving to live better could be enough, prompting her to miss her old life with the Special Investigation Squad. Meanwhile, Ye Yiqing realized the Night Star was delaying him, suspected it was targeting one of the [Four Seasons], and discovered enormous steel pillars rising around the city.

• Noah explained to Hela that life could be its own meaning and that living better was worth pursuing, and Hela reflected on her past with the Special Investigation Squad.
• Ye Yiqing noticed the streets emptying and called [X] to warn Hela and Yuliu, but [Satellite] took over the phone and claimed his companions had been killed.
• Ye Yiqing destroyed the phone, rejected [Satellite]'s claim as an attempt to delay him, and hurried toward City A Park.
• Ye Yiqing suspected the Night Star was concentrating its forces to eliminate one of the [Four Seasons] after separating [Winter] and [Autumn].
• The city shook, and Ye Yiqing saw enormous steel pillars rise from the ground around its edges.

Ye Yiqing and Yuliu’s group discovered that the Night Star had sealed the city behind a barrier, cutting off their communications. Yuliu, [Winter], and [Autumn] were then attacked by two powerful combat robots, and the fight continued as Yuliu countered their coordinated assault.

• Ye Yiqing saw the barrier rise around the city, concluded it was meant to prevent [Summer] and [Spring] from arriving, and headed toward Yuliu.
• [Winter] recognized the barrier, while Yuliu found that the Night Star had cut off their network access; he then sensed an attack beneath the ground.
• Yuliu warned [Winter] and [Autumn] before an energy blast erupted, and [Winter] shielded [Autumn] from the explosion with ice.
• Yuliu fired at the two robots, but they protected each other and charged [Winter] and [Autumn]; [Winter] evaded their blades as [Autumn] struck the white robot with his scythe.
• Yuliu redirected a shot to intercept the black robot’s energy blast, then drew a dagger and fired three more shots at it.

Yuliu, [Winter], and [Autumn] fought two combat robots while Noah tried to stop Hela from leaving. Hela’s attack destroyed Noah’s home and revealed Delala and Nuonuo trapped inside a mass of flesh, leaving Noah’s assault interrupted as tentacles lunged at him.

• Yuliu dodged the black robot and shot it, while the damaged white robot unleashed a swarm of missiles and retreated to join it.
• Yuliu and [Winter] attacked the two robots as they stood back-to-back and fought on.
• Noah stopped Hela from leaving and challenged her for killing lives despite being [Life].
• Noah tried to blast Hela with a typhoon, but a mass of flesh erupted through his home and left him unable to find his wife and son.
• Noah unleashed wind blades at Hela, but he stopped when he saw Delala and Nuonuo inside the flesh, and bladed tentacles attacked him.

Noah sacrificed himself to stop Hela, insisting that he had acted to save humanity, and Hela realized he had deceived her about the Light God Society’s goal. Still furious, she raced to the city park, where she arrived amid the battle and was suddenly grabbed by the black robot.

• Noah unleashed his wind blades at Hela while her tentacles pierced him, and his attack only damaged her surface.
• Hela taunted Noah about killing his wife and son, but he declared that he had acted to prevent humanity’s extinction and died.
• Hela realized Noah had known the Light God Society’s goal, tore apart his corpse, and swallowed the pieces.
• Hela charged through the city and reached the park, where Winter, Autumn, Yuliu, and the two robots stopped fighting to look at her.
• Winter recognized Hela and relaxed, while Autumn remained ready to fight; then the black robot rushed at Hela and grabbed her.

The Night Star trapped Hela in a cage powered by the city’s shield while Russia’s commander-in-chief restrained Spring for an impending satellite strike. The plan left Spring helpless in midair as he struggled to hold her for ten minutes.

• Two robots transformed into a cage around Hela, and the city’s shield energy reinforced it.
• Yuliu recognized the trap, and Ye Yiqing failed to break Hela free before deducing that the Night Star was targeting whichever of Summer or Spring arrived alone.

Winter sensed Spring’s distress signal, and Ye Yiqing led the others after a clone of Tuote who promised to guide them to her. Meanwhile, the Russian commander-in-chief struggled to finish killing Spring before the rescuers arrived, and Satellite offered him a solution as his deadline closed in.

• Winter sensed that Spring was sending a distress signal, but she could not tell where Spring was being held.
• A clone of Tuote told Ye Yiqing and the others that Spring was near the department store and offered to guide them; Ye Yiqing accepted and led the group after him.
• The Russian commander-in-chief kept Spring restrained while she begged and threatened him, and Satellite said the kill would take three more minutes.

The Russian commander-in-chief tried to escape after Yuliu’s shot weakened him, but Wang Canxin threatened his family and forced him to keep fighting. As Ye Yiqing, Winter, and Autumn attacked, Satellite activated Heavenly Tribulation and struck them with lightning.

• Satellite changed Heavenly Tribulation’s target, planning to paralyze the approaching enemies so Heavenly Lightning could bombard them, even though the Russian commander-in-chief would also be at risk.
• Yuliu shot the Russian commander-in-chief from several kilometers away, and the commander stopped the bullet but was badly weakened by the strain.

Ye Yiqing and the others were paralyzed by the Russian commander-in-chief’s electric attack as the Heavenly Thunder satellite descended toward the city. Yuliu and Tuote prepared to free Hela by destroying the reactor, while the satellite’s arrival threatened everyone.

• Ye Yiqing, Winter, and Autumn were incapacitated by the current, while the Russian commander-in-chief continued restraining Spring as Heavenly Thunder was set to land in two minutes.
• Yuliu watched the confrontation from a metal pillar, and Tuote told him that Hela could intervene if they destroyed the device holding her.
• Tuote led Yuliu to the reactor and warned that detonating it would kill them, leaving Yuliu to sacrifice himself to release Hela.

Yuliu sacrificed himself by detonating a grenade and the reactor, disrupting Hela’s restraints just before Heavenly Thunder struck the city. Hela shielded Ye Yiqing, Spring, Winter, and Autumn from the blast, and after Spring healed the survivors, they thanked Hela for saving them.

• Yuliu gave Tuote his name and stayed behind as Tuote escaped with two androids.
• Yuliu detonated a grenade, triggering the reactor’s explosion and shutting off the beam restraining Hela.
• Hela broke free and expanded her body around the others moments before Heavenly Thunder struck and its missiles detonated.

Hela defeated Summer with Sky’s help, then absorbed the Five Calamities’ feathers and devoured the Russian commander-in-chief after he asked her to end his life. After Ye Yiqing learned that Yuliu had died sealing Hela, the group set off to meet the remaining two of the Five Calamities.

• Hela and Sky tore through Summer’s abdomen and severed his limbs, leaving him helpless.
• Hela told Summer he was the weak one and tossed him to Spring, who began healing him.
• Hela absorbed four of Summer’s feathers and devoured the injured Russian commander-in-chief at his request.

Public reaction shifted in Night Star’s favor after a livestream revealed the commander’s sacrifice and the Five Calamities’ power, while Wang Canxin prepared to carry out a secret mission. Meanwhile, Lin Wushuang, Aidan, and Chi Jiu traveled on foot toward the Tree of Terra, and Lin Wushuang began sharing their abilities.

• The livestream showed Russia’s commander-in-chief’s final conversation with his daughter and the battle against the Five Calamities, prompting people to recognize Night Star’s fight against the Variants.
• Wang Canxin told Satellite that the mission had succeeded because it won public support and strengthened his claim to become Night Star’s sole leader.
