The Divine Hall Sets Sail for the Sea of Stars
"Who is it?"
Intense curiosity welled up in Luo Feng's heart, and he hurriedly asked.
In the universe, he knew no other powerful beings apart from his teacher, Qin Yuan. Just who could make his teacher say such a thing, someone who would take him by surprise?
Qin Yuan saw the curiosity and eagerness written all over Luo Feng's face, but he didn't answer directly. He merely smiled and said with a hint of mystery, "If I told you now, there would be no surprise. You'll naturally know when you meet him."
"What I can tell you is that he has deep ties to both of us. Given his seniority, you should address him with respect."
Luo Feng was briefly stunned. Address him with respect?
Full of questions, he couldn't help guessing. Apart from his teacher, Qin Yuan, he had no other mentors. Could this person be an old acquaintance of his teacher? Or another of his own elders?
But no matter how he thought about it, he couldn't come up with a single clue.
Qin Yuan saw Luo Feng's bewilderment but offered no further explanation. Some things had to be seen firsthand before the reasons behind them became clear.
He hesitated no longer. His trip to Earth had come to a successful conclusion. He had not only seen his disciple Luo Feng, examined the results of his three years of cultivation, and corrected his mistakes, but had also seen to all the necessary arrangements. It was time to set off for the Universe Ocean.
With that thought, Qin Yuan willed it, and a brilliant silver-gray light burst from between his brows.
Within the light, an immense, majestic hall slowly flew out from between his brows and hovered in the void of space beyond Earth.
It was none other than the Hunyuan-level flying Palace Supreme Treasure-the Void God Hall!
The moment the Void God Hall appeared, the cosmic void in the space beyond Earth trembled slightly.
The hall was cast entirely from mysterious Hunyuan Divine Metal. Ten thousand zhang tall, it was magnificent and imposing, its presence shaking the heavens. Countless ancient spacetime runes and God King secret scriptures were inscribed across its surface. Every rune contained a supreme resonance of the Dao and coursed with power capable of suppressing the heavens.
Endless spacetime radiance and streams of chaos swirled around the hall. Even as it floated there motionless, it radiated a majesty that stood above all things in the universe, dimming the stars around it.
The hall stood ten thousand zhang tall across the cosmic void, blotting out the heavens and the sun and casting the entire starry sky into its shadow. Its grandeur had reached the utmost extreme.
Luo Feng stood beneath the Void God Hall, gazing up at the magnificent hall, so full of supreme majesty. He was utterly stunned, his eyes filled with shock and awe.
He could clearly sense the world-destroying power contained within the hall. It was far greater than all of Earth's weapons and powerful beings combined. This was his teacher's Supreme Treasure, the Hunyuan-level Void God Hall!
Qin Yuan looked calmly at the Void God Hall before him, then turned to Luo Feng. "Come aboard, Luo Feng."
"It's a long journey from Earth to the Universe Ocean. We'll have plenty of time along the way, so I'll tell you about the rules of the Universe Ocean and the story of that old acquaintance you're about to meet."
With that, Qin Yuan lightly lifted his foot, becoming a streak of light as he flew straight toward the Void God Hall's entrance.
Luo Feng came back to his senses and slowly suppressed the shock in his heart. Standing before the Void God Hall's silver-gray hull, smooth as a mirror, he couldn't help looking back at Earth.
The blue planet floated quietly among the stars. Its oceans reflected the light of its star, and a faint blue halo traced the edge of its atmosphere. Viewed from low Earth orbit, Earth was breathtakingly beautiful. It was the home where he had spent nineteen years growing up. It held the streets and alleys of Yangzhou City, the martial arts schools of Yi'an District, his parents and younger brother, and everything familiar to him.
Three years ago, he had been an inconspicuous advanced warlord on this planet, barely able to withstand a monster's claws. Three years later, he stood at the peak star level, about to follow his teacher into the Universe Ocean, where legend said only true gods could venture.
Farewell, Earth.
Luo Feng silently spoke those words in his heart, then turned resolutely, no trace of reluctance left in his eyes. He fixed his gaze on the silver-robed figure ahead and stepped forward, becoming a streak of light as he followed close behind Qin Yuan, flying toward the open entrance of the Void God Hall.
He knew that from the moment he entered this hall, a new chapter of his life would begin. His peaceful life of cultivation on Earth would become a thing of the past. Waiting ahead were the boundless Chaos Sea, perilous and unpredictable deathtraps, all manner of peerless experts, and the stage he had dreamed of, where he could truly grow and transform.
His heart was racing, not from fear, but from anticipation. Every punch he had thrown, every meditation, every time he had gritted his teeth and endured the agony in his soul over the past three years had been for this moment-for leaving this tiny planet and making his way toward that true sea of stars.
The entrance to the Void God Hall stood like a gaping mouth, silently waiting for the teacher and disciple. Qin Yuan entered first, his figure vanishing into the faint silver-gray membrane of light within the doorway. Luo Feng followed close behind, without the slightest hesitation.
Once their figures disappeared into the membrane, the Void God Hall's heavy doors slowly closed. At the very last instant, as the gap sealed shut, a deep, lingering hum sounded, like an announcement that some ancient ritual had finally been completed.
Dense silver lines began to light up across the hall's surface. They were spacetime runes that Sitting Mountain Guest had inscribed with his own hands, each containing the highest mysteries of the Space Law. The runes lit up one after another, like an ancient behemoth slowly opening its eyes after sleeping for hundreds of millions of years.
The next second, ten-thousand-zhang rays of radiance burst forth from the Void God Hall. Brilliant as a galaxy pouring down, the silver-gray light illuminated thousands of li of surrounding space in dazzling silver-white. The spacetime runes operated at full power, and terrifying spatial force swept out in all directions like a tsunami.
The space in front of the hall began to twist violently, like a mirror crumpled by an invisible hand. Spatial rifts spread in every direction. Immediately afterward, an enormous rift tore open directly before the hall. It was no ordinary spatial rift, but a spatial passage forcibly pierced through by the Void God Hall's power. At the far end of the passage, gray streams of chaos could faintly be seen surging and churning.
The Void God Hall shuddered violently, and the ten-thousand-zhang silver light instantly converged, wrapping the entire flying vessel in an incomparably sharp streak of light. That streak tore across the starry sky of the Primal Universe, moving so fast that even light could not match it. It ripped through space and crossed vast distances, bursting in the blink of an eye beyond Earth's star region, beyond the Solar System, and beyond the Milky Way Galaxy, speeding toward the vast and unfathomable Universe Ocean outside the Primal Universe.
Inside the hall, Luo Feng stood before a window, watching the starry sky outside race backward faster than the eye could follow. The countless stars were stretched into slender silver lines. In the end, even the silver lines vanished from sight, replaced by an expanse of gray that stretched as far as the eye could see.
That was the color of the streams of chaos.
The Universe Ocean-he had arrived.
The three-year promise was fulfilled this day; the voyage across the sea of stars began now!
