"Why?" Yang Zhen exchanged a surprised glance with Hua Youyue.
Before the Shameless Cat could speak, a faint voice came from ahead. "Because the Blood Illusion Bronze can directly confront the deepest desires in the hearts of living beings, plunging them into an endless illusion until death!"
Yang Zhen was startled and looked at the Shameless Cat.
The Shameless Cat nodded, saying in a strange voice, "Damn it, that's not all. It's said that this thing was created by an evil force in High Antiquity times. It's incredibly sinister. It's said that this force could achieve immortality during the Tribulation Transcendence Realm because of the Blood Illusion Bronze."
"What?! An existence from High Antiquity times, even earlier than the prehistoric era?" Yang Zhen was shocked. "Can it really grant immortality?"
The Shameless Cat sneered, "Damn it, immortality isn't that easy. The reason Blood Illusion Bronze is evil is that it can steal the life essence of any living being out of thin air and store it in something called the Heaven-Burying Nail. Yang Zhen listened with a mixture of surprise and doubt, looking at Hua Youyue with a bewildered expression.

Hua Youyue shuddered, a look of confusion crossing her face, and shook her head, saying, "No!"
Her tone was firm, and Hua Youyue never lied.
Yang Zhen breathed a sigh of relief. He had the same thought as the Shameless Cat. After all, it was rather strange to feel furious about something you'd never seen or even heard of before.
"Oh shit!"
Yang Zhen exhaled a breath of stale air, looked up at Shi Yan, Liu Zongqi, and the others who were about to disappear, and said, "Let's chase after them and see what happens!"

Mo Xueling, who followed closely behind, was also shocked. Looking at the ancient bronze tree that stretched as far as the eye could see, she showed a look of horror.
" Blood Illusion Bronze, such a huge... Blood Illusion Bronze Tree!"
Mo Xueling muttered to herself, a flicker of fear crossing her eyes, then suddenly cried out, "Run!"
The sudden sound startled Yang Zhen. Just as Yang Zhen grabbed Mo Xueling and Hua Youyue, one of the cultivators from Liu Zongqi and the others arrived at the Blood Illusion Bronze Tree, leaped up, and climbed onto it.
Looking at the cultivator who had been pierced through the chest, Yang Zhen was startled and said with a bewildered expression, "Wow, that's some serious skill!"
The cultivator hung precariously on the Blood Illusion Bronze Tree, a stream of blood flowing down the bronze branches and being absorbed by the tree's massive trunk.
Yang Zhen felt a chill run down his spine and turned to run away. Suddenly, a loud hum came from the bronze tree. It was as if something on the ancient bronze tree had been activated. With the hum, an invisible wave of energy burst out from the ancient bronze tree and radiated rapidly in all directions.
"Run!"
Yang Zhen shouted, not caring about anything else. He grabbed Mo Xueling with his left hand and Hua Youyue with his right, and with a loud bang, the ground beneath his feet exploded as he leaped forward.
The Shameless Cat glanced back, and everyone affected by that invisible wave of energy shuddered, becoming dazed and walking in bizarre, unnatural ways, like living corpses, towards the ancient bronze tree.
"Holy crap, run! Run! This thing is too weird!" The Shameless Cat kept patting Yang Zhen's shoulder as Yang Zhen ran as fast as he could. "Damn it, if you keep whining, I'll throw you back."

A muffled thud was heard, indicating that someone had hung themselves up again.
Yang Zhen's expression changed. He turned around and watched helplessly as the invisible wave of energy suddenly accelerated and rushed towards him, leaving him no way to escape.
"Damn it, I'm so angry!"
Yang Zhen put down the two women, rolled up his sleeves, and rushed towards the blast wave.
"What are you going to do?" the two women exclaimed.
"Get it!"
