Wilt Mirage joined forces with Adam and Amon to contain the Circle of Inevitability’s corruption while pursuing advancement and money in Tingen City. He drew Lanevus and Madam D into a noble-targeting fraud, crossed paths with Klein and Trissy, and ended by investigating Old Neil’s resurrection ritual.

• Xu Zhe awoke in Wilt Mirage’s body, found a golden-swastika sarira in an ancient ruin, and survived Amon’s avatars when the sarira killed them and entered his body.
• Wilt entered the Key of Light and gained the Eternal Aeon Pathway’s Dancer boon, then met Adam and Amon, who assessed the Circle of Inevitability’s contamination and helped him advance in the Monster Pathway.
• Adam recruited Wilt into the Twilight Hermit Order to report on the Western Continent and the Great Old Ones, while Amon gave him a monocle and made him avatar Number 041.
• Wilt escaped Tris on the Alfalfa, went to Tingen City, and recruited Avatar 037 to help exploit Lanevus’s fraud as a gold-mine scheme targeting nobles.
• Wilt used his sarira to restore wandering ghosts and send them into reincarnation, then fought a river spirit that had attacked Selena, Elizabeth, and Melissa Moretti before Klein and the Nighthawks arrived.
• Wilt confronted Lanevus, exposed his fraud and Divine Descent Vessel status, then persuaded him and Madam D to help swindle nobles in return for assistance with their troubles.
• The Hidden Sage’s appearance gave Wilt knowledge of Life Alchemy, and a skeletal Beyonder creature drove him into a fight with Trissy before he escaped through Dream Traversal.
• Klein dreamed of Wilt and the sarira, while Wilt investigated Old Neil’s Life Alchemy notes and began studying them as he waited for Old Neil to return.

Wilt joined Old Neil in studying mysticism while pursuing his own schemes in Tingen, drawing the New Party and the Demoness Sect into his plan and joining the Tarot Club as The Lovers. The arc left him and Trissy facing Rose School of Thought attackers at a factory, with Wilt escaping and Trissy emerging from a mirror badly wounded.

• Wilt warned Old Neil that the resurrection ritual was unlikely to work, then persuaded him to cooperate and teach him mysticism.
• Wilt made a pact with Hailiye Walker and enlisted Earl Corodo’s help by claiming he had found a gold mine.
• Wilt recruited Sharon to help stir conflict between the Conservative Party and the New Party, then sent Hailiye into Sir Deville’s body and subjected him to nightmares about workers’ suffering.
• Wilt partnered with Old Neil, killed a rampaging Werewolf, and was pulled into the Gray Fog Space, where Klein learned about his corruption and three Pathways.
• Wilt joined the Tarot Club as The Lovers and learned that Lanevus’s plan had gained support from the New Party and the Demoness Sect.
• Wilt used collected grievances to frighten Maynard and other capitalists, then offered Audrey the Telepathist formula and helped her understand Susie’s transformation into a Beyonder creature.
• Wilt made charms through rituals to Klein and the True Creator, then returned Trissy’s Cheek’s Ring after she confronted him about taking it.
• Wilt and Trissy found mutilated workers and two Rose School of Thought members at a factory, where a Wraith possessed Wilt before he escaped by Dream Traversal and Trissy emerged bloodied from a mirror.
