Ch. 1Prisoner

Imprisoned in the seventeenth World Prison and nearly out of divine power, Zhou Qing discovered an Infinite Simulation Panel that could grant him a clone, items, or memories. He began his first simulation as Zhou Xian, with the goal of reaching Empyrean God or Celestial Immortal within a thousand years.

  • Zhou Qing recalled how he became Ancestor God Fantian’s disciple, then was imprisoned after his master died and the Nine Directions Chaos Kingdom blamed the Maha Sect for its defeat.
  • Zhou Qing held on for several chaos cycles, strengthened his Dao-heart, and advanced his Heartforce to the third level, but his remaining power was nearly exhausted.
  • The Infinite Simulation Panel appeared and explained that successful simulations could create clones, while failed ones could still yield items or memories.
  • Zhou Qing drew the identity of Zhou Xian, eldest legitimate son of a martial arts family in a minor world in the Three Realms.
  • Zhou Qing began a simulation with the objective of reaching Empyrean God or Celestial Immortal within a thousand years.

Ch. 2First Arrival in the Seven Wonders World

Zhou Qing's simulation followed his rise from a martial artist in the Long Kingdom to a Zifu cultivator recruited by the Three Immortals Palace. After reaching Peak Zifu and becoming a personal disciple, he learned that the Pure Yang Immortal Mansion was about to open.

  • Zhou Qing chose to learn martial arts at home, became a Xiantian grandmaster, and later discovered from Tianhezi's Travels that he had been reincarnated into the world of Desolate Era.
  • Zhou Qing followed his father's advice to focus on cultivation, helped the Long Kingdom repel Jing Kingdom's invasion, and reached Zifu at thirty-five.
  • Adept Taiyan invited Zhou Qing to join the Three Immortals Palace, and Zhou Qing accepted and traveled through True Spirit Mountain to Pure Yang Heaven.
  • Zhou Qing joined the Three Immortals Palace as an inner disciple and accumulated merit to obtain the immortal-grade Thousand Grain Sutra, finding no Fiendgod Body Refining inheritance in the Seven Wonders World.
  • Zhou Qing reached Peak Zifu at sixty, advanced his palm art to Heaven and Man Unity, and was chosen as a personal disciple by a Myriad Manifestations elder.
  • The Three Immortals Palace announced that the Pure Yang Immortal Mansion would open in a few days.

Ch. 3Pure Yang Immortal Mansion

Zhou Qing entered the Pure Yang Immortal Mansion, cultivated for centuries, deciphered its restrictions, and claimed its immortal treasures and legacy. He left to seek new insight and found Earth Immortals and Loose Immortals waiting to ambush him, but subdued them.

  • Zhou Qing volunteered to lead the Three Immortals Palace cultivators in the treasure hunt and received protective treasures from the Primal patriarchs.
  • Zhou Qing comprehended the True Meaning of the Gale during a demonic ambush, refined the Pure Yang token, and escaped into the Pure Yang Immortal Mansion.
  • Zhou Qing cultivated in the sea of Essence Liquid, advanced to Wanxiang and then Primal, and comprehended numerous paths of the Dao.
  • Zhou Qing stayed inside the mansion rather than return home, advanced to Early Void, and deciphered the mansion's restrictions.
  • Zhou Qing discovered that Patriarch Lu, Lü Dongbin, had established the mansion, claimed its immortal treasures and cultivation texts, and took control of it.
  • Zhou Qing emerged from the mansion and subdued the Earth Immortals and Loose Immortals who had set a formation to ambush him.

Ch. 4Heavenly Tribulation

After returning to the Three Immortals Palace, Zhou Qing reunited with his father, explored the Seven Wonders World, and chose to break through to Void Perfection. He survived an intensified Five-Nine Lightning Tribulation, but then fell into the Heavenly Dao’s Heart Demon world.

  • Zhou Qing infiltrated the Three Immortals Palace and learned that its patriarchs had protected his father and clansmen while rival factions pressured the sect.
  • The patriarchs honored Zhou Qing as Supreme Elder, and he repaid them with Essence Liquid and cultivation manuals before reuniting with his father.
  • Zhou Qing traveled through the Seven Wonders World, befriended Old Immortal Heming and Patriarch Black Turtle, and deepened his understanding of the Grand Dao of Xun Wind.
  • Zhou Qing chose to face the Heavenly Tribulation, and his two friends lent him treasures to help withstand it.
  • After reaching Void Perfection, Zhou Qing survived forty-five bolts of heavenly lightning, though the Pure Yang immortal swords he used were broken.
  • As the Heavenly Dao began transforming Zhou Qing’s body, he entered a convincing Heart Demon world that used his knowledge as a transmigrator to strengthen its illusion.

Ch. 5Reward in Hand

After his simulation ended in failure, Zhou Qing chose to retrieve an item and entered the simulated world to claim his Pure Yang Immortal Mansion, enduring the world’s backlash. He used its supplies to restore himself in the World Prison and found that 145 years remained until his next simulation.

  • Zhou Qing realized the simulated Heart Demon Tribulation had ended in despair, but the panel assured him it concealed his transmigration memories from everyone else.
  • He chose to retrieve one item from the simulation rather than take its memories, then learned that he had to retrieve it himself and would face backlash based on its value.
  • Zhou Qing used his remaining divine power and Heartforce to pull the golden Pure Yang Immortal Mansion from his simulated self before the backlash returned him to the World Prison.
  • He refined the mansion, absorbed its pure energy, and consumed immortal pills to restore his depleted divine body over several decades.
  • After recovering, Zhou Qing checked the panel and saw that 145 years, 7 months, and 1 day remained until his next simulation.

Ch. 6Simulating Again

Zhou Qing began a new Desolate Era simulation as Wu Xian, a young monster in the Wujiang Immortal Mansion, and learned he could face danger when the Shaoyan Clan eventually invaded. After showing exceptional cultivation and combat talent, he accepted his father's plan for him to compete in the Celestial Fiend Assembly.

  • Zhou Qing received the identity of Wu Xian, a member of the Wujiang Clan in the Great Xia World, with the goal of reaching Empyrean God or Celestial Immortal within a thousand years.
  • Wu Xian learned that Immortal Witchriver had been absent for ten thousand years and that the Shaoyan Clan would someday threaten the monsters trapped in the Wujiang Immortal Mansion.
  • At age three, Wu Xian asked his Wanxiang Diremonster King father to let him cultivate, and his father hired three Zifu greater monsters to teach him.
  • After twenty years, Wu Xian reached Peak Houtian in Fiendgod Body Refining, Peak Xiantian in Ki Refining, and One with the World in claw techniques.
  • Wu Xian's father proposed that he represent the Wujiang Clan at the Celestial Fiend Assembly in forty years, and Zhou Qing chose to accept.

Ch. 7Cultivation in the Ancestral Grounds

Zhou Qing read a simulation in which he trained among the Wujiang Clan’s candidates for the Celestial Fiend Assembly, rose to the top through dangerous Fiend Prison challenges, and gained Immortal Wusui’s instruction. After abandoning his slow study of the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, he advanced his other Daos and reached the Domain Realm of the Dao of Blazing Fire.

  • Zhou Qing’s simulated self joined eight thousand fiends at the ancestral grounds, where candidates received instruction and resources but had to compete in the Fiend Prison to remain among the three hundred selected for the Assembly.
  • After a Primal Fiend King’s lecture gave him insight into Blazing Fire, he cleared the twenty-second layer, comprehended its True Meaning, and became the top-ranked candidate.
  • He comprehended the True Meanings of the Gale and Rainwater, created Explosive Flame Claw and Fierce Wind Claw, and gained private monthly instruction from Immortal Wusui through Wuke.
  • At age thirty-eight, he reached peak Zifu in Qi refining and Xiantian in Fiendgod Body Refining, then cleared the twenty-fifth layer of the Fiend Prison.
  • Zhou Qing’s simulated self studied the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth for years without much progress, then followed Immortal Wusui’s order to stop and focus on his other Daos.
  • He advanced all three Daos to just short of the Domain Realm, reached the twenty-seventh prison layer before being forced to retreat, and later comprehended Blazing Fire to the Domain Realm.

Ch. 8First Steps on the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth

Zhou Qing gave up the Celestial Fiend Assembly to follow a flash of insight, taking his first steps on the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth. After rapidly growing stronger, he declined to challenge a Primal fiend king and learned that the Wujiang Clan was at war with an alliance led by the Duohe Tribe.

  • Daoist Wuke brought the Wujiang Clan’s greater fiends to the Celestial Fiend Assembly, where Zhou Qing entered the secret realm and sensed an opportunity to comprehend the Great Dao.
  • Zhou Qing chose to leave the trial and pass through the gateway again, gaining his first insight into the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth.
  • Immortal Wusui recognized Zhou Qing’s breakthrough, silenced those mocking him, and took him back to the ancestral grounds under the protection of Yaksha Dao-Soldiers.
  • With Immortal Wusui’s guidance, Zhou Qing advanced his Dao of the Gale and Dao of Rainwater to the Domain Realm and defeated the fiends on the twenty-seventh and twenty-eighth levels of the Fiend Prison.
  • Zhou Qing decided against challenging a Primal fiend king and returned to the ancestral grounds, where he heard that the Wujiang Clan was fighting an alliance led by the Duohe Tribe.

Ch. 9Surprise Attack

Zhou Qing broke through to the Primal realm and harassed the Duohe Tribe’s rear, eventually defeating Demon King Zhenbao and helping the Wujiang Clan win the war. After returning to the ancestral grounds, he began digesting his insights while sensing that his potential had not been fully realized.

  • Immortal Duohe made peace with the Wujiang Clan after the alliance’s defeat, and Zhou Qing returned to the ancestral grounds to digest his insights.

Ch. 10Leaving the Wujiang Immortal Mansion

After mastering a new technique capable of tearing through the Wujiang Immortal Mansion’s spatial barrier, Zhou Qing prepared to leave with Immortal Wusui and Immortal Duohe. They opened a passage at the Heavenly Fiend Secret Realm, and Immortal Duohe entered first as their unwilling scout.

  • Zhou Qing emerged from thirty years of seclusion having reached the Domain of the Great Dao and created the Sky Rend Claw, a move powerful enough to break the mansion’s spatial barrier.
  • Zhou Qing and Immortal Wusui agreed to explore the outside world together and decided to bring Immortal Duohe rather than leave him in control of the mansion.
  • Zhou Qing and Immortal Wusui visited the Duohe Tribe, where Zhou Qing suppressed several Primal Fiend Kings before Immortal Wusui swore an oath to convince Immortal Duohe their plan was genuine.
  • After the three Immortals made arrangements for their tribes, Zhou Qing found the weakest spatial node near the Wind-Calming Stele at the Heavenly Fiend Secret Realm.
  • Zhou Qing opened a passage with repeated Sky Rend Claws, and Immortal Duohe realized the others expected him to test it first before rushing inside; Zhou Qing and Immortal Wusui followed.

Ch. 11Golden Light Cave

Zhou Qing’s simulated self became lost in a chaotic spatial passage and mastered a trace of Space Power while finding his way out. He arrived at Golden Light Cave, where he and Xuanshu joined forces against four powerful puppets and then entered the cave to explore.

  • Zhou Qing’s simulated self observed the chaotic spatial passage for an unknown time and mastered a trace of Space Power.
  • He escaped the passage onto an unfamiliar continent and found the abandoned Golden Light Cave.
  • Xuanshu was thrown from the cave, and four powerful warrior puppets attacked her and Zhou Qing’s simulated self.
  • Zhou Qing’s simulated self captured two puppets, then rescued Xuanshu by capturing the other two.
  • Xuanshu introduced herself as a cultivator from the Heaven Realm and explained that a problem with her Greater Teleportation Talisman had brought her there.
  • Zhou Qing’s simulated self and Xuanshu agreed to enter Golden Light Cave together.

Ch. 12Tempering the Heart Through Reincarnation

Zhou Qing learned that the Golden Light Cave was Perfected Taiyi’s sanctuary and chose the Southern Brightness Li Fire Pearl before entering the Heart-Questioning Trial. After enduring 1,820 reincarnations, he returned to the cave, chose the Yellow Heaven Treasure Armor, and received a farewell gift from Xuanshu.

  • Zhou Qing learned the Golden Light Cave’s history and chose the Southern Brightness Li Fire Pearl, while Xuanshu selected a treasure of her own.
  • Zhou Qing and Xuanshu entered Perfected Taiyi’s Heart-Questioning Trial and experienced reincarnations that tested their Dao hearts.
  • Xuanshu ended her cycle after five hundred reincarnations, while Zhou Qing endured 1,820 before returning to the Golden Light Cave.
  • The Abode Spirit let Zhou Qing choose a reward, and he selected the Yellow Heaven Treasure Armor.
  • Zhou Qing discovered that Xuanshu had left him the Heaven-Splitting Claw, a recording of her farewell, and a Communication Talisman offering her help.

Ch. 13Return to the Great Xia World

Zhou Qing returned to the Great Xia World to check on the Wujiang Immortal Mansion and found the Shaoyan Clan enslaving its monster race. He rescued the captives and escaped Old Devil Fufeng, leaving the confrontation with the Shaoyan Clan unresolved.

  • Zhou Qing chose to return to the Great Xia World, reached Anchan Commandery, and visited the Ji Clan in Yan Mountain before discovering its future elders had not yet been born.
  • Zhou Qing found Shaoyan Clan ships carrying captive monsters from the Wujiang Immortal Mansion, killed the crew, freed the prisoners, and gathered the remaining monsters into a pocket-world magic treasure.
  • Zhou Qing chose to rescue the monsters already taken away and ambushed Immortal Xuanzhen near the Chenyu Mountain Range, killing him and recovering the captives.
  • Old Devil Fufeng approached after Zhou Qing killed Immortal Xuanzhen, but Zhou Qing fled before the Shaoyan Clan could draw him into a larger battle.

Ch. 14Simulation Successful

Zhou Qing advanced his Dao mastery, created several ultimate claw techniques, and sent his second Primal through the Celestial Immortal tribulation. He awakened from the heart-demon trial as a third-class Celestial Immortal while Shaoyan Clan patriarchs attacked the formation protecting him.

  • Zhou Qing defeated a group of attackers outside Luotian City, spared their purple-robed Celestial Immortal leader after taking his treasures, and discovered a spatially resonant metal that greatly advanced his Dao insight.
  • Zhou Qing cultivated and challenged Celestial Immortals across the Three Realms, completing the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth and creating Heaven-Exterminating Claw, but failed to find Immortal Wusui.
  • Zhou Qing arranged a remote tribulation site and a protective Five Emperors Canopy Formation, then sent his second Primal to face the tribulation and passed the wind, fire, and Nine-Nines Lightning tribulations.
  • As Zhou Qing entered the heart-demon world, Heavenly Immortal Xuanji, Celestial Immortal Jingyu, and Celestial Immortal Chixin attacked his formation on behalf of the Shaoyan Clan.
  • Zhou Qing resisted the heart-demon world’s temptations and awakened after two days, becoming a third-class Celestial Immortal while the formation remained close to collapse.

Ch. 15Overwhelming and Invincible

Zhou Qing completed his tribulation, awakened his original aspiration, and reached the fourth level of Heartforce before crushing the Shaoyan Clan patriarchs who had attacked him. He returned to Luotian City with Celestial Immortal Chixin imprisoned, intending to learn how the clan found him, while reconsidering who had watched him during his tribulation.

  • Zhou Qing received more than six hundred years of simulated memories as he transformed into a Celestial Immortal, and he regained his original aspiration, attaining the fourth level of Heartforce.
  • Zhou Qing dismissed the Five Emperors Canopy Formation and killed Heavenly Immortal Xuanji with a single Heaven-Slaughtering Claw.
  • Celestial Immortals Jingyu and Chixin tried to escape with Greater Teleportation Talismans, but Zhou Qing disrupted their teleportation and killed Jingyu.
  • Zhou Qing defeated Chixin and imprisoned him in an estate-world magic treasure so he could question him about how the Shaoyan Clan had found his tribulation site.
  • Zhou Qing returned to Luotian City and noticed that the unknown presence watching him during his tribulation was no longer there, leading him to suspect a mighty figure from the Nuwa Faction.

Ch. 16The World Prison in Hand

Zhou Qing enslaved Celestial Immortal Chixin and learned that the Shaoyan Clan had used True Immortal Dayan to locate his tribulation, then tracked down Shaoyan Chou and seized the World Prison. With the prison in his hands, Zhou Qing considered what he needed to do to break through to Pure Yang True Immortal and gain access to its treasures.

  • Zhou Qing used Heartforce Enslavement on Celestial Immortal Chixin and learned that Jingyu had hired True Immortal Dayan to divine the time and place of Zhou Qing’s tribulation.
  • Zhou Qing ordered Celestial Immortal Chixin to kill himself, and Chixin warned him that Shaoyan Chou had many clones before dying.
  • Zhou Qing sensed Shaoyan Chou in the Stillwater Major World, teleported to him, and enslaved him with Heartforce.
  • Zhou Qing ordered Shaoyan Chou to surrender his treasures and found the black stele called the World Prison among them.
  • Zhou Qing’s true body realized that he now possessed the World Prison, but still needed to reach Pure Yang True Immortal to enter it and obtain its seven great techniques.
  • Zhou Qing concluded that he lacked only an ordinary earth Dao among the five elements and noticed that his comprehension had greatly improved after obtaining the clone.

Ch. 17The Shaoyan Clan's Destruction

Zhou Qing destroyed the Shaoyan Clan’s Celestial Immortal leadership and met the Great Xia Emperor, Xia Mang Xun. Lü Dongbin arrived and identified Zhou Qing as his junior fellow apprentice, leaving Xia Mang Xun astonished at who their master might be.

Ch. 18Nine-Layer Chaos Restriction

Lü Dongbin brought Zhou Qing to Tushita Palace, where Daoist Sanqing explained why he had chosen Zhou Qing as a disciple and gave him the Daoist name Taixu. Sanqing gifted him the Ten Thousand Flowers Precious Lotus, which contained the Nine-Layer Chaos Restriction, a powerful aid to understanding the Dao.

  • Lü Dongbin told Zhou Qing that his connection to the Daoist Sect came through the opportunities at Golden Light Cave on Qianyuan Mountain.
  • Daoist Sanqing explained that Zhou Qing’s talent and Dao heart had led him to take Zhou Qing as a disciple, and Zhou Qing accepted.
  • Daoist Sanqing gave Zhou Qing the Daoist name Taixu and presented him with the Ten Thousand Flowers Precious Lotus.
  • Zhou Qing discovered that refining the lotus’s restriction improved his insight into the Dao, and his Great Dao of the Claw reached the Great Dao Domain Realm.
  • Daoist Sanqing identified the restriction as the Nine-Layer Chaos Restriction, the opportunity Zhou Qing had hoped to obtain from the Star-Plucking Mansion.

Ch. 20Breaking Through to Pure Yang

Zhou Qing used the Nine-Layer Chaos Restriction to master the five elements and break through to Pure Yang at the Daoist Sect's residence in the Heavenly Court. His new status and rapid rise astonished the Heavenly Emperor, while his reunion with Zhang Xuanshu and introduction as Dao Father Carefree’s disciple left the Emperor eager to win him over.

  • Zhou Qing comprehended an ordinary Dao of Earth, completed the five elements, and began transforming his Celestial Immortal golden core.
  • The Heavenly Emperor and many immortals gathered as Zhou Qing’s breakthrough stirred the Heavenly Court.
  • Zhou Qing emerged several days later as a Pure Yang True Immortal, and the Heavenly Emperor and other immortals congratulated him.
  • Zhang Xuanshu recognized Zhou Qing and recalled meeting him four hundred years earlier, prompting the Heavenly Emperor to realize how swiftly Zhou Qing had advanced.
  • Lü Dongbin arrived and addressed Zhou Qing as his junior brother, and Zhou Qing introduced himself as Wu Xian, Daoist name Taixu, and a disciple of Dao Father Carefree.

Ch. 21Refining the Prison and Choosing Arts in the Scripture Pavilion

After reaching the Pure Yang True Immortal level, Zhou Qing refined the World Prison’s seven arts and judged the Eighteen Fiendgods of Taowu the most useful. He then visited the Daoist Sect’s Scripture Pavilion to select arts that would improve his abilities and provide plausible origins for the supreme arts he already possessed.

  • Zhou Qing refined the World Prison’s tadpole-shaped characters and mastered its seven great arts.
  • Zhou Qing compared the World Prison arts with his existing inheritances and decided the Eighteen Fiendgods of Taowu was the only one he particularly valued.
  • Zhou Qing stopped refining the World Prison’s remaining runes because entering it would attract attention and expose his possession of it.
  • Zhou Qing went to the Daoist Sect’s Scripture Pavilion to prepare his Wu Xian clone’s original body for the Empyrean God tribulation and to find cover for his powerful abilities.
  • Zhou Qing selected Void Evasion, Dark World, Void Great Destruction, Sacred Dao of Perdition, Bewitching Heart Secret Canon, Seeking the Dao, Eight-Nine Arcane Art, and Mighty Fiendgod Force.
