• Kabuto dug an old coffin from a secluded mountain hollow and wondered whether the skeleton inside belonged to a legendary person.
• Jiraiya oversaw Konoha's evacuation as Sasuke visited the Uchiha compound, learned Naruto was training at Mount Myōboku, and left while Sakura watched.
• Obito stood at Rin Nohara's memorial stone and reaffirmed his resolve to destroy Konoha.
• Kakuzu and Hidan fought the Third Division until Kitsuchi arrived to support Darui and help counter Kakuzu's attacks.
