Ch. 41Lady Konan
Aoki Tsuki gave Konan intelligence to support Akatsuki’s planned coup against Hanzō and was accepted as a trainee member. After Konan reported back to Nagato, he set the move for two days later, while Aoki Tsuki quietly prepared his squad for possible orders.
- Aoki Tsuki told Konan that Danzo and Jiraiya had asked about the Rinnegan, but he had concealed Akatsuki’s whereabouts from them.
- Aoki Tsuki declared his support for Akatsuki, handed Konan intelligence on Amegakure’s personnel and defenses, and asked to join; Konan accepted him as a trainee.
- Konan returned to Nagato and reported what had happened, and Nagato decided they would move the day after tomorrow.
- Aoki Tsuki adjusted his squad’s shifts to keep some members away from the operation and told the others to follow his instructions if temporary night assignments arose.
