Ch. 21Watch Your Tone

After Planet Karen tightened its screening of aliens, Turles kept his team hidden before meeting Morton at a guarded military facility. Morton questioned whether the three outsiders could provide the power he needed, and Turles warned him to watch his tone.

  • Daiz reported increased plainclothes surveillance, and Turles canceled the team's outing and ordered everyone to stay at their base for three days.
  • Turles watched the night sky and thought of Tights and Earth while Tights wrote about him and wondered what approaching trouble he knew about.
  • Three days later, Turles, Daiz, and Cacao used forged security contractor credentials to enter the Northern First Military District's spaceport and meet Morton.
  • Morton's convoy took the three to a heavily secured hidden command room, where he accused them of not being Karenites and doubted they could turn the battle.
  • Turles told Morton that they were not his subordinates and advised him to watch his tone.

Ch. 22A Change of Face

Turles had Daiz demonstrate the Saiyans’ strength to General Morton by defeating Carl with ease. Morton abandoned his contempt and invited Turles back to the command room for further talks.

  • Morton summoned Carl, whom he called his strongest warrior, and challenged Turles to prove his strength by defeating him.
  • Turles sent Daiz to fight Carl and warned him not to kill their potential ally.
  • Daiz dodged Carl’s attacks, stopped his strongest punch with one hand, and sent him crashing into the training room wall.
  • Turles told Morton that Daiz was the weakest among them, and Morton apologized before inviting Turles back to the command room.

Ch. 23Spear and Shield

Morton briefed Turles on his coup plan and asked him to capture the United Government’s super soldiers, Shield and Spear, alive so Morton could obtain their genetic enhancement technology. Turles accepted the mission and left with Daiz and Cacao, while Morton remained at the spaceport.

  • Morton showed Turles a map of the United Government’s defenses and files identifying Shield and Spear, whose combat powers were 9,000 and 10,000.
  • Turles dismissed the two super soldiers as weak, and Morton asked him to capture them alive for their genetic enhancement technology.
  • Morton described his ambitions to unite Planet Karen and build a Karen Empire using mass-produced super soldiers.
  • Morton explained that the coup’s signals would alert Turles when to move and outlined where Shield and Spear were likely to be.
  • Turles accepted the task and left with Daiz and Cacao, refusing Morton’s offer of a conspicuous convoy.

Ch. 24A Problem?

Turles returned safely to his base after meeting with the Heeters Group, while Elec agreed to let Jass challenge him after their mission. Back at the base, Turles kept the impatient Amond in reserve and told his crew to prepare for the coming conflict.

  • Turles and his companions avoided a patrol, left the signal-jamming zone, and confirmed with Elec that their meeting had ended.
  • Elec dismissed Turles’s cold manner and noted the Heeters depended on the Frieza Force; Jass then said he wanted to fight Turles.
  • Elec told Jass he could challenge Turles after the mission if he still wanted to.
  • Turles and his companions returned to their base, where Amond demanded permission to attack Planet Karen, but Turles ordered him to stay with the spaceship and watch the Heeters.
  • Turles advised Daiz and Cacao to remain cautious and get ready for a fight, hinting that the Heeters might bring an unexpected reward.

Ch. 25Coup on Kalen (4k)

Turles broke into Planet Kalen’s government bunker during Morton’s coup, defeated the government’s two super soldiers, and found Tights among the officials. After learning she had contacted the Galactic Patrol, Turles captured the super soldiers and forced Tights to leave with him as he prepared to withdraw.

  • Turles sent Daiz and Cacao to watch the government building’s exits while he descended to its entrance.
  • Turles shattered the building’s energy barriers and destroyed its automated defenses and heavy mechs on his way to the underground bunker.
  • Turles defeated Spear and Shield, then recognized Tights among the bunker’s officials.
  • Turles told Tights that Morton had hired him and dismissed the Galactic Patrol’s authority to intervene in Planet Kalen’s internal power struggle.
  • Turles knocked out the two super soldiers and threatened the officials until Tights agreed to go with him.
  • Turles led Tights out of the building and told her that Planet Kalen’s fate could not be changed.

Ch. 26New Member?

Turles brought Tights aboard his ship and temporarily made her a member of the Turles Crusher Corps, ordering his crew to leave her alone. After Tights discovered his Saiyan tail and confronted him about invading Planet Karen, Turles acknowledged that he was Saiyan and asked her how to contact the Galactic Patrol.

  • Turles returned to the ship with Tights and told Amond and the others to treat her as a temporary member of the Turles Crusher Corps.
  • Turles ordered Daiz to find Tights a room and instructed the crew not to bother her.
  • Tights explored her room, then left to look for water and spotted Turles's Saiyan tail through a partly open door.
  • Turles invited Tights inside and admitted he was Saiyan, claiming he was not as bloodthirsty as others unless she caused trouble.
  • Tights accused Turles of intending to invade Planet Karen, and he said his job could not be changed before asking her how to contact the Galactic Patrol.

Ch. 27A Perfectly Completed Mission

Turles learned that Tights could not personally contact the Galactic Patrol, but he kept her aboard until she helped him obtain Earth's coordinates. He then met the Heeters, who assured him they would handle the Galactic Patrol's response to the mission on Planet Karen.

  • Tights explained that she was only an honorary Galactic Patrol affiliate and that Planet Karen's government had sent the official request for help.
  • Turles asked Tights to contact Jaco for Earth's coordinates and kept her from leaving until she agreed to help.
  • Turles told Tights he wanted to find his younger brother on Earth, but she doubted he was telling the truth.
  • Turles ordered Amond to set course for the Heeters Group's location and traveled there with Amond, Daiz, and Cacao.
  • Elec praised Turles for completing the mission, and Turles reported that Planet Karen had contacted the Galactic Patrol.
  • Maki assured Turles that the Heeters Group would handle the cleanup and prevent the Galactic Patrol from implicating him or the Frieza Force.

Ch. 28The Challenger

After completing their mission, Turles learned that Jass mistook him for the Saiyan who had defeated him years ago, likely Bardock. Elec asked Turles to spar with Jass to help him overcome his fear, and Turles accepted as the two prepared to fight.

  • Tights opened the hatch and watched as Elec noticed her, while Turles identified her as a new member of his team.
  • Elec introduced his younger brother Jass and explained that a Saiyan resembling Turles had once defeated him, leaving him haunted by the loss.
  • Turles realized Jass had probably fought Bardock and questioned whether sparring with him would help or worsen Jass's inner demon.
  • Jass stepped forward to challenge Turles, who accepted and approached him as Elec and the others watched.
  • Amond scanned Jass and found his power level was 10,000, while Daiz remarked that Turles would decide how long the fight lasted.

Ch. 29Powerful Fighters Everywhere

Jass unleashed the power he had suppressed for years and began fighting Turles at tremendous speed. His power level reached 30,000, leaving the battle between them raging across the canyon.

  • Jass charged Turles with energy hammers, but Turles caught him and dismissed his strength as insufficient.
  • Jass's power surged past 20,000, destroying Amond's scouter and shattering the headpiece suppressing him.
  • Jass transformed, gained height and muscle, and attacked Turles with a powerful punch.
  • Turles blocked Jass's punch, and the two fighters began clashing at incredible speed.
  • Daiz's scouter recorded Jass's power level at 30,000, stunning Amond and Daiz.

Ch. 30Familiar Yet Unfamiliar

Jass fought Turles with a sudden surge of power, but Turles steadily outmaneuvered him. After Jass began charging an attack powerful enough to destroy the planet, Turles stopped him and left him unconscious.

  • Elec and Maki watched as Jass attacked Turles with increasingly powerful, reckless blows.
  • Turles dodged Jass’s attacks and explained that Jass had reached his limit.
  • Jass gathered the last of his power into a growing purple energy ball, alarming Elec, Maki, Oil, Amond, Daiz, and Tights.
  • Turles vanished and struck Jass in the abdomen, stopping the energy ball before it could destroy the planet.
  • Jass crashed to the ground unconscious, haunted by a familiar figure as his eyes closed.

Ch. 31The Three Commanders

Turles returned from the Heeters mission, received Frieza’s praise and promotion to the A-rank roster, and was shown the three frontier commanders whose regions he might be assigned to. He left the recordings of the Heeters’ plans to replace Frieza in his possession while Tights resolved to contact the Galactic Patrol and expose him.

  • Turles spared Jass, and Elec thanked him before tending to the injured Jass with Maki and Oil.
  • Turles kept the recordings of the Heeters discussing their kickbacks and ambitions to replace Frieza, saying he would consider how to use them.
  • Tights avoided Amond in the corridor and decided to find a way to contact the Galactic Patrol and reveal Turles’s plans.
  • Turles returned to Frieza’s headquarters, where Zarbon and Dodoria welcomed him and escorted him to Frieza.
  • Frieza promoted Turles to the A-rank roster, granting him authority to command independently and launch operations.
  • Frieza introduced Sorbet, Berryblue, and the brothers Abo and Cado as commanders of three frontier regions.

Ch. 32Reporting Them

Frieza appointed Turles as a potential fourth cornerstone of the Frieza Force and assigned him a remote region to govern. After arranging for Dodoria to leave, Turles told Frieza that the Heeters Group had acted against the force and him personally, then began explaining their misconduct.

  • Frieza praised Turles's leadership and fighting power, and asked whether he could create an artificial moon.
  • Turles confirmed that he could, and Frieza assigned him a remote, peaceful region as a starting point.
  • Turles accepted the assignment and hesitated to speak while Dodoria remained in the room.
  • Frieza sent Dodoria to help Zarbon with the arrangements, leaving Turles alone with him.
  • Turles reported that the Heeters Group had engaged in questionable conduct toward the Frieza Force and Frieza, and began recounting the details of their mission transaction.

Ch. 33Selling the Boss a Grand Vision?

Turles exposed the Heeters Group's scheme and persuaded Frieza to consider a new interstellar real estate and property management business. Frieza gave Turles permission to choose his own base and put the plan into practice, including using Frieza in publicity.

  • Frieza explained that the Heeters Group's customer network and intelligence channels were useful, though he planned to punish them for growing too greedy.
  • Turles proposed sparing some natives, building standardized cities, and selling homes to them through loans, then clarified that wealthy outsiders would be the main customers.
  • Turles pitched protected luxury enclaves, property management fees, and commercial districts as a way to expand the Frieza Force's influence.
  • Frieza approved testing Turles's vision at an assignment of his choosing and let him select any base or region of space.
  • Turles proposed making Frieza the face of the Force's publicity and mentioned that his squad had gained a novelist.
  • Turles knelt and pledged not to betray Frieza's trust.

Ch. 34Going to Pick Up Kakarot?

Turles prepared to take command of a branch base while reflecting on the demands of Frieza’s trust. After hearing of Turles’s rapid rise, Vegeta decided to recruit Raditz’s younger brother Kakarot and planned to head toward Earth while completing missions.

  • Turles accepted that he would need to deliver results for Frieza and spent the next few days preparing to become a base commander.
  • News of Turles’s promotion reached Vegeta, who crushed a nutrient can in frustration at Turles’s rapid advancement.
  • Vegeta asked Raditz about his younger brother Kakarot, who had been sent to Earth.
  • Vegeta decided Kakarot could help the team conquer low-level planets and ordered Raditz to pick him up.
  • Raditz estimated that reaching Earth would take one and a half to two years, so Vegeta ordered the team to choose missions along the route and collect Kakarot when they drew nearer.

Ch. 35Weighted Suit

Turles began training in a weighted suit after his crew could not build a gravity chamber, and he gradually adapted to its crushing pressure. Tights watched his workout and learned how intense Saiyan training could be before Turles emerged exhausted.

  • Reiz and Lakasei gave Turles the weighted suit they had made with Frieza Force technology.
  • Turles activated the suit, nearly buckled under its weight, then forced himself to stand and train through the strain.
  • Tights left her room looking for food and followed the sound of Turles training to the observation window.
  • Amond warned Tights to watch her words after she asked if Turles had gone mad, and she joined the others in watching him train.
  • Turles gradually moved more smoothly, then finished his session and collapsed outside the training room as Amond and the others hurried to help him.

Ch. 36A New Job

Turles tested the new adjustable-weight Battle Suit and ordered custom versions for his crew, then told Tights that Earth was safe from invasion for now. He revealed that he had told Frieza she was a renowned novelist, leaving her with a new job she had not yet learned about.

  • Amond and Daiz carried Turles from the training room, where he praised Reiz and Lakasei's adjustable-weight system and asked them to make suits for everyone.
  • Turles insisted the crew wear the suits to grow stronger, and Amond, Daiz, Reiz, and Lakasei reluctantly went to prepare for them.
  • While eating with Tights, Turles said he had Earth's coordinates but was not planning to go there because it was too far away.
  • Turles told Tights that he had described her to Frieza as a talented, universe-renowned novelist and announced that she had a new job.

Ch. 37Guardian of Peace in the Universe?

Turles forced Tights to become his subordinate and ordered her to write a biographical novel portraying Frieza as a guardian of peace. Tights resisted on professional grounds, but Turles argued that she should invent the story and left her time to reconsider.

  • Tights questioned why she had to work for Turles, who threatened to treat her as a prisoner after explaining that he had already obtained Earth's coordinates.
  • Tights agreed to become Turles's subordinate to stay alive.
  • Turles ordered Tights to write a biographical novel about Frieza titled "Frieza: Guardian of Peace in the Universe!"
  • Tights objected that she could not write truthfully about Frieza without knowing him, but Turles told her to invent the emotions and paint the future.
  • Turles gave Tights time to reconsider and returned to the commander's seat.

Ch. 38Taking Command

Turles chose Planet Namek as a nearer destination to pursue the Dragon Balls, then arrived at his assigned base and took command. He met the base’s officers and called on them to work together.

  • Turles decided Planet Namek was a more practical destination than Earth and considered how he might overcome Nail and the other Namekian warriors.
  • Turles arrived at the base after a month of travel, accompanied by Amond and Daiz in weighted Battle Suits.
  • Ogg welcomed Turles and reported the base’s soldiers, ships, and planets under its jurisdiction.
  • Ogg introduced the division commanders Buck, Fizz, and Gru to Turles in the central command room.
  • Turles took the commander’s chair and told the officers to work together.

Ch. 39Setting Out

Turles prepared to travel to Planet Namek with Cacao and Tights while leaving Amond to search for suitable planets. Elsewhere, Vegeta continued slaughtering inhabitants of a low-level planet in his drive to catch up with Turles, while Raditz headed toward Earth to find Kakarot.

  • Turles reviewed the base’s reports and found no corruption in its accounts or supplies.
  • Turles ordered Amond to search for planets that met his criteria and decided to travel to Planet Namek with Cacao and Tights.
  • Turles persuaded the reluctant Tights to accompany him and switched to an old scouter to avoid using Frieza Force communications.
  • Turles, Cacao, and Tights boarded a stealth-equipped ship and departed for Planet Namek.
  • Vegeta slaughtered a native warrior on a low-level planet, driven by his desire to catch up with Turles.
  • Raditz followed Vegeta’s route toward Earth and worried that Kakarot would prove useless.

Ch. 40Arrival on Planet Namek

Turles, Tights, and Cacao arrived on Planet Namek, where Nail escorted them to the Grand Elder. The Grand Elder allowed all three to enter, though Nail had initially been told to admit only Turles.

  • Tights admired Namek’s eternal daylight and questioned Turles about whether he planned to invade, and Turles insisted the Frieza Force served justice.
  • Turles landed the spacecraft on Namek, where Nail greeted the group on the Grand Elder’s orders.
  • Turles flew after Nail with Tights holding onto him, while Cacao followed them past Namekian settlements and into a rocky desert.
  • Nail led them to the Grand Elder’s building and tried to stop Tights and Cacao from entering.
  • The Grand Elder called from inside and told Nail to let all of them come in.
