History

Foundation and the Hundred Demons Conflict

Su Hang founded Imperial Crown to build relationships based on mutual loyalty rather than personal gain. His previous betrayal by the Yousu Team shaped his desire to find teammates who would remain faithful to him 448 534.

The team’s beginnings were tied to Imperial Emperor’s struggle against Hundred Demons. He defeated one hundred of its core members and fought its captain, Shura, to nine wins and nine losses. Imperial Crown was established to prevent Hundred Demons from recovering its former power 450.

Silver Dragon, Phoenix, and Mountain Lord were among the earliest members. Huranlang, Yujingzi, Jueying, Wangsun, Yuejing, Shejun, Hanlu, Ganglie, and Baili subsequently completed the twelve-member core 491.

The Three Emperors’ Rebellion

Imperial Emperor appointed Silver Dragon acting captain and promised to support him as a successor if he managed the team well. According to Chaofeng, another core member encouraged Silver Dragon to seize power. Supporters of Imperial Emperor were expelled, while Silver Dragon’s supporters received promotions 328.

Imperial Emperor countered the takeover by securing support from the core members, rallying loyalists, winning over undecided members, and forgiving those who had backed Silver Dragon. Silver Dragon was expelled after the attempt failed 328.

Phoenix and Mountain Lord were expelled separately: Phoenix for contacting Hundred Demons’ Nurarihyon, and Mountain Lord for threatening Imperial Emperor. Their alliances followed them out of Imperial Crown and became independent teams 491.

The departures reduced membership from over 10,000 to approximately 6,000. Imperial Emperor subsequently delegated nine governing powers to the remaining core members, retained the captain’s title, and withdrew from daily management 491.

Tenth Civil War

Jueying proposed publicly livestreaming the tenth annual civil war and challenged Imperial Emperor to participate. Unlike the preceding nine years, Imperial Emperor accepted 119 123.

Jueying’s side assembled Huranlang, Yujingzi, Yuejing, and Wangsun. Imperial Emperor nevertheless won both matches and earned both MVP awards. The resulting prize discussion revealed ten million yuan in MVP rewards and another five million for the winning team 130 148.

Nurarihyon’s Takeover

Jueying had built and refined Imperial Crown’s rules, management system, and organizational structure. Imperial Emperor considered him a potential successor, although he disliked Jueying’s persistent efforts to mythologize him 371.

Jueying was ultimately exposed as Lin Ying, Hundred Demons’ Nurarihyon. By obtaining legal, judicial, and personnel authority through the Core Committee, he gained the ability to rewrite rules, judge violations, and remove members. He used contractual penalties and threats of expulsion to intimidate the other leaders 439 458.

Jueying then confronted Imperial Emperor with recordings of the core members admitting past betrayals and revealed that he was also Exalted Emperor, captain of Sovereign Dominion. Imperial Crown expelled its founder and publicly accused him of committing all seven forms of betrayal 442 443 445.

A purge followed. Lop-Eared Rabbit reported being expelled merely for messaging Imperial Emperor and facing a ten-million-yuan contractual penalty 445.

Commercial Expansion and War

On August 28, 2025, Imperial Crown announced the return of Silver Dragon, Phoenix, Mountain Lord, and their teams. Their former core titles and alliance names were restored, reuniting all twelve Imperial Alliances 449.

The organization spent ten billion yuan signing streamers, acquiring MCN agencies, and investing in professional teams. All eighteen KPL teams came under its banner. It also recruited away approximately 99 percent of Sovereign Dominion’s ordinary and elite members by offering higher pay and covering departure penalties 450 454.

Sovereign Dominion declared war on August 30, and Imperial Crown immediately reciprocated. The conflict became a wager at Crowned and Proclaimed Emperor. Imperial Crown changed the challenge from a duel to a 5v5 match and invalidated Sovereign Dominion supporters’ tickets 469.

Imperial Emperor’s Restoration

The Three Champion Emperors had only pretended to return to Nurarihyon’s side. Their objective was to draw him into the wager and help Imperial Emperor reclaim Imperial Crown 496 507.

Tai Sui exposed Nurarihyon and the other core members’ involvement in Imperial Emperor’s expulsion. Imperial Emperor then removed his mask, publicly confirming that he and Exalted Emperor were the same person 498 499.

The Three Champion Emperors withdrew from Imperial Crown, followed by the other eight core members. They stood behind Imperial Emperor and renewed their allegiance. With the opposing camp unable to continue, the challengers won by default, and Imperial Emperor regained the organization 495 502 505.

After Su Hang’s Disappearance

After the August 31 tournament, Su Hang vanished, memories of him were erased, and the lives of people connected to him were rewritten. Imperial Crown now appeared as a civilian team of roughly one hundred members under Zhou Keyu, rather than the enormous organization Liuli remembered 515 524 525.

Liuli used the Imperial Ring’s preserved blood samples to seek evidence that Su Hang had existed. Imperial Crown’s veterans agreed to provide blood for DNA comparison at the hospital on Imperial Crown Island 515 519.

In a later sequence involving Su Hang’s time with Yousu, an unfamiliar Imperial Crown contacts him through its supercomputer, Eve, and invites him to become captain. Su Hang initially suspects a scam 559.

Organization and Leadership

  • Jueying’s administrative role: Personally established and refined the team’s organizational structure, rules, and management system 371.

Nine-Power Administration

The following offices describe the distribution of authority before Jueying consolidated multiple departments 435.

Ideals, Rules, and Traditions

Loyalty and the Seven Betrayals

  • Seven prohibited betrayals: Pride, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, lust, and envy 445.
  • Captain’s corresponding virtues: Humility, temperance, generosity, diligence, patience, chastity, and tolerance 445.

  • Purpose: Officially strengthens bonds, but also determines internal strength rankings 119.
  • Public access: Earlier civil wars are private; Jueying proposes broadcasting the tenth across the internet 119 123.
  • Ranking awards: The nine core members are ranked by performance across both matches 148.
Placement Internal Title
