In the world of Diablo, equipment can be divided into eight tiers.
The first tier is [Inferior Items and Equipment]. The color is ordinary, and it can be further divided into four categories: Inferior, Broken, Damaged, and Rough. This type of equipment is barely usable and is commonplace. Even newbies rarely covet it, as it can be obtained by killing a random monster.
The second tier is [Common Item Equipment], which appears white. They have a certain chance of having natural sockets, allowing you to socket gems and runes. You can also add sockets later. This type of item equipment is the most common and basic, forming the foundation of game items. The drop rate is also very high; you can get nine out of ten by killing ten monsters. The attributes are generally average.
The third tier is [Superior Items and Equipment], which appears white. In the world of Diablo, only weapons and armor have this Superior form, which comes with some additional effects that enhance attack power, durability, and defense. However, the effects are not very noticeable, and it is only slightly stronger than [Normal Items and Equipment].
The fourth tier is [Magic Item Equipment], which appears blue and possesses stronger attributes and power. Whether it's defense, attack, or special attributes, it far surpasses the previous three tiers of item equipment. Moreover, the names of magic equipment often include one or two affixes, with the number of affixes representing the level of additional attributes. This type of item equipment varies in quality and is extremely powerful. The armor and belt that Sun Fei is currently using for his Barbarian character are both of this type of blue magic equipment.
The fifth tier is [Orange Handcrafted Equipment]. This type of equipment can only be crafted using a crafting formula, and Sun Fei has not yet crafted this type of equipment.
The sixth tier is [Bright Gold Item Equipment], also known as 'Outstanding Equipment' or 'Rare Equipment'. It has greater power and attributes than the fourth tier [Magic Equipment]. Its name usually has two to six suffixes. Sun Fei had obtained several such items before. For example, the [ Miserable Feather Short Bow ] he gave to Elena was a Bright Gold Item Equipment. This type of equipment can be considered mainstream and slightly higher-end equipment.
The seventh tier is the [Green Set], which appears green. Legend has it that these Green Sets once belonged to the great legendary heroes of the Diablo World. When a complete set is collected and equipped, in addition to the inherent attributes of each piece, it generates additional powerful magical energy. Green Sets are rare because a set often contains many individual components, and even with good luck, it takes a long time to collect them all. Sun Fei obtained a [ Arctic Furs ] from the [ Arctic Gear ] set in [ Barbarian Mode ], but to this day, he still hasn't obtained the other three pieces to complete a full [ Arctic Gear ].
The eighth tier is [Unique Items]. These Saint Class items have the lowest drop rate. Each one possesses unique magical abilities, with its own unique shape, attributes, name, and color. They can be divided into three sub-tiers: Common, Extended, and Elite.
Understanding the equipment level system in the Diablo World explains why Sun Fei was so excited.
What appeared before him was a complete level 7 [green set], a complete set appearing all at once. This had never happened before in Sun Fei's computer game memories from his previous life—of course, the strange behavior of the female demon Andariel earlier had also never occurred in his previous computer game.
Sun Fei gently reached out and touched the green suit in front of him.
The cool touch on his fingertips told Sun Fei that this was real, not a dream or an illusion.
This is a four-piece green suit: a plain light blue skull helmet with a rounded, cone-shaped top; a delicate light blue light iron armor with shoulder pads, a waist belt, and thigh guards; a light blue amulet about 1.7 meters long with a cylindrical, sparkling magic gem at the top and three unknown mysterious strips of cloth wrapped around its base; and a palm-sized, deep red amulet engraved with a pentagonal magic circle.
The four pieces of the set are perfectly combined to form a standing human figure, lifelike, with a faint but brilliant glow of life flowing between them, which is intoxicating. A powerful magical fluctuation, like a surging tide, emanates irresistibly from the set.
The set is currently in an unidentified state.
However, Sun Fei was too excited to wait any longer to return to the Rogue Encampment and have the white-haired old man Cain appraise the green set for him for free. He directly used four Scroll of Identify to completely appraise all four pieces of the set.
The staff is named ' Arcanna's Deathwand '. It has special attributes: 12-18 damage with both hands; normal attack speed; durability 50/50; requires level 15; 1 mage skill; 25% chance to critically strike, 50% damage to undead, 5% increased mana regeneration, and 50 mana.
The skull helmet is named ' Arcanna's Head '. It has special attributes: Defense 237; Durability 1818; Requires Strength Points and Level 15; Health Regeneration 4; Damage Taken by Attacker 2; Lightning Resistance 25%; 228 Defense (depending on character level).
The light armor is named ' Arcanna's Flesh '. It has the following special attributes: Defense 195; Durability 6060; Requires Level 15; Reduces Physical Damage by 3; 2 Light Aspects; 10 Stamina; 100 Defense.
The amulet is named ' Arcanna's Sign '. It has special attributes: requires level 15; 15 mana; increases mana regeneration by 20%; increases fire resistance by 20%; and provides a 50% better chance of obtaining magical equipment.
These are the attributes of each of the four components of the set.
[ Arcanna's Tricks ]!!
Sun Fei immediately knew the name of the green suit.
In Sun Fei's memories from his previous life, there was indeed such a green set of equipment suitable for mage characters. Although it was somewhat inferior to the top-tier mage set, Tal Rasha's Set, it was already considered perfect equipment for early-game mage characters. Moreover, the required level was only 15, and with Sun Fei's current level of 19, he was fully capable of supporting this set.
Without any hesitation, Sun Fei quickly stripped himself naked and then equipped [ Arcanna's Trajectory ].
A pale blue light instantly enveloped Sun Fei, and an unprecedentedly powerful feeling permeated every cell of his body. Sun Fei could feel that his defense and attack had increased by at least one or two times in that instant. With this complete set of green equipment, a level 19 mage character could at least exert the strength of a level 25 mage.
After equipping the complete [ Arcanna's Tricks ] set, the set's additional crafting attributes appeared --
20% Faster Casting Speed, 5% Mana Steal on Hit, 50 Health, 50 Mana.
Sun Fei closed his eyes, savoring the exhilarating feeling of his instantaneous increase in strength.
Then, his gaze fell upon the dark, simply designed iron mask that had been floating in the air not far away.
This mask looks far worse than the [ Arcanna's Tricks ] set from before. If you don't look closely, you might mistake it for a piece of old tree bark with two round holes cut into it. It's dry and lifeless, yet it floats lightly in the air as if it has lost its gravity. A strange power is faintly visible on the mask, carrying an ancient and mysterious aura of sorrow and vicissitude.
"Could it be... the legendary [ Andariel's Visage ] on this mask?"
Sun Fei was taken aback. [ Andariel's Visage ] was the legendary mask that Andariel begged a blacksmith to forge for her to cover her disfigured face. It was a decent piece of equipment, but it rarely dropped in monasteries, so there was no reason for it to appear now.
The mask felt incredibly light and flimsy, as if I were holding a wisp of air.
Before the mask could be identified, Sun Fei had no way of knowing its name and attributes. He spent an [ Scroll of Identify ], and a golden light flashed.
Sun Fei was stunned.
He discovered that the mask in his hand had no reaction whatsoever and still could not display its attributes.
"What... what's going on? Is it just an ordinary mask? Not even a piece of equipment, which is why it doesn't display any attributes?" Sun Fei wondered. "But that doesn't make sense. If it's useless, why is it floating in the air?"
Strange things are happening.
Such a thing had never happened in my memories of computer games from my previous life.
Sun Fei recalled what Andariel's phantom had told him when she regained her nun appearance—
"Accept my gift, protect your woman. Every [ Flower of the Rogue ] will suffer unprecedented hardship. Protect her, and do not let her repeat my mistakes!"
A sixth sense, emanating from the depths of his soul, vaguely told Sun Fei that this mysterious black mask seemed to have a slight connection to the 'prophecy' left behind by the phantom Andariel, but Sun Fei couldn't quite grasp what that connection was.
Sun Fei thought for a moment, then tried to stick the mysterious black mask onto his face.
The warm, smooth touch felt like a lover's gentle caress.
The mask wasn't large, just enough to cover the entire face beneath the skullcap. The eyes peeked out from two black holes, comfortable and not obstructing vision at all. There was a slight protrusion around the nose, protecting it but leaving the tip exposed, allowing for unobstructed breathing. Sun Fei had a strange feeling, as if the mask possessed a life of its own, subtly undulating, and then perfectly conforming to his face shape, as if it had been made just for him.
Then, a strange sensation came over me.
Sun Fei felt as if his senses had suddenly been enhanced several times over; he could hear things he couldn't hear before, see things he couldn't see before, and smell things he couldn't smell before...
He raised his hand and removed the black mask, and all the strange sensations disappeared.
I tried it several times and confirmed that it worked correctly.
This seems to be the only function of this mysterious black mask for now.
"An item that even an [ Scroll of Identify ] can't appraise... This is truly amazing... You know, even dark gold level 8 equipment can be appraised with Scroll of Identify, could it be... that this black mask is actually equipment that surpasses level 8? Impossible, I've never heard of level 9 equipment in the Diablo World!"
Sun Fei shook his head, unable to discern anything for the time being, but the mask exuded an indescribable eeriness. He picked up the mask and placed it into his accessory space.
Then, the scenery before my eyes changed, and the endless void vanished.
As if traversing endless time and space, Sun Fei instantly returned to the catacombs where he had killed Andariel. Before him were still raging flames and blood everywhere. The monsters were all dead, and the mage character had completed all the quests to clear [ Rogue Encampment ].
All seven classes have completed the first act.
Sun Fei transported back to the 3D holographic projection screen he had seen before entering the Diablo World.
The change that surprised and delighted Sun Fei had indeed occurred.
With this update, I'm off the potential ranking list. I'm begging for support, tears in my eyes!
The chapter describes a lot of equipment attributes, so it's 3500 words long. Please add it to your favorites and recommend it.
