A bottle of [ Hulk Potion ] contains only about fifty milliliters, packaged in a small glass vial shaped like a test tube. In the experiment just now, one-third of it was given to the tall, thin mercenary, leaving less than two-thirds, which was particularly precious. With a thought, Sun Fei stored the potion in the Barbarian's ribbon space.
He crouched down, placed his palm on the tall, thin mercenary's corpse, and activated the [ Find Potion ] skill again. Unfortunately, this time he returned empty-handed amidst the splattering blood, failing to obtain the potions he desired. There was nothing he could do; the [ Find Potion ] skill had only one skill point allocated, just reaching level one, making the success rate extremely low.
The four usable corpses in the secret room had all been used up. The only remaining bottle of [ Hulk Potion ] was a pleasant surprise. However, Sun Fei still had to obtain the information he needed most.
What could possibly cause such an incredibly effective potion that doesn't exist in the Diablo World? Sun Fei couldn't say for sure. If he had to come up with a plausible explanation, Sun Fei thought it might be that the Barbarian's [ Find Potion ] skill had undergone some kind of incredible mutation in the real world, and the [ Hulk Potion ] was likely a product of that mutation. Clearly, this mutation was currently beyond Sun Fei's Sun Fei. He hadn't yet tested the probability of the [ Hulk Potion ] being produced, nor could he be sure what side effects would occur after taking it, or whether anyone who took it would gain terrifying power like the tall, thin mercenary he'd encountered before.
Therefore, before officially using this [ Hulk Potion ] to enhance the strength of his subordinates, Sun Fei had to figure out these issues. You should know that even those world-class pharmaceutical companies in his previous life had to conduct hundreds or thousands of clinical trials before producing a new drug.
Having figured out all the key points, Sun Fei let out a soft breath.
He focused his attention on the Four-Star Class black-clad mage convulsing on the ground like a dead dog, spitting blood and foam. Ironically, this guy was arguably the most unlucky and bizarre four-star mage in the history of the Azeroth Continent. In terms of strength, a small border town like Chambord City could have been taken single-handedly by him. Yet, surrounded by thousands of the Black Armor Army, he was utterly defeated by Sun Fei, a man of mere brute force. Now, this unfortunate fellow was barely clinging to life. At Sun Fei's behest, the jailers had been striking him with clubs whenever he showed any sign of waking. Aside from a few intact ribs in his chest, almost every bone in his limbs was broken. If it weren't for the incredible resilience of a Four-Star Class mage, comparable to a cockroach, most ordinary people would have been long gone.
Sun Fei walked over with a wicked grin on his face.
He took out a bottle of [ Healing Potion ] from his sash space, uncorked it, and gently dripped a few drops onto the black-clad mage's limbs, which were almost mangled into a bloody mess. Instantly, a faint flow of magic circulated, and the black-clad mage's limbs, which had almost turned into minced meat, began to rapidly regenerate...
Four or five seconds later.
The black-clad mage's limbs still looked battered and bruised, with white bone fragments and black bits of flesh rolled together. However, overall, he at least resembled a human. Sun Fei dared not let the guy recover too completely, otherwise, if a Four-Star Class mage went berserk, Sun Fei, with his level 16 Barbarian strength, probably wouldn't be able to control him.
During this process, Sun Fei discovered another very interesting phenomenon—
The effects of [ Healing Potion ] vary depending on the user's strength. The lower the user's strength, the more significant the effect; conversely, the higher the user's strength, the slower the effect. A simple example is that someone like the white-haired muscular man Pierce, who doesn't even have one-star strength, can be pulled back from the brink of death with just a small bottle of [ Minor Healing Potion ]. However, this Four-Star Class mage in front of us, after using the same amount of the potion, only had some superficial wounds healed.
Splash--!
A bucket of cold water mixed with salt was poured over the four-star mage.
"Ah..." With a hoarse, low groan, the Four-Star Class mage finally awoke. He slowly opened his snake-like eyes, surveyed his surroundings, and finally fixed his gaze on the face he would never forget for the rest of his life. In the next instant, he trembled like a young girl seeing the demon who had stolen her virginity. He cried out in an uncontrollable, hoarse voice, "It's... it's you?"
"Huh? Not bad memory, it's me, hehe!" Sun Fei grinned smugly. He couldn't help but feel proud. Capturing a Four-Star Class mage with less than three-star strength was a feat worthy of being recorded in the annals of the glorious King the King of Chambord City.
"You're finished! Aaaaaah, you're finished... You ignorant fool, you stupid pig, you laughable mongrel, how can you still laugh? Do you know what you've done?" The black-clad mage with the skeletal face roared excitedly as he saw the Silver-Masked Man's corpse on the ground, his whole body trembling violently as if electrocuted. "The entire Chambord City will become a dead zone! You killed Prince Kolbak of the Sander Empire, and the entire Zenit Empire will be crushed to pieces because of it!"
"Damn, you want a beating? A prisoner acting so arrogantly?"
Seeing that this fellow didn't beg for mercy but instead recklessly shouted, Sun Fei became furious. He rushed forward and stomped twice on the black-clad mage's thigh. The sound of bones cracking rang out, and the leg bone, which had just recovered under the [ Healing Potion ], turned into a pile of minced flesh again. The unfortunate mage coughed up blood and fainted.
Sun Fei dripped a few drops of [ Healing Potion ] onto the monk's leg.
A few seconds later, the black-clad magician came back to life, slowly waking up. Seeing Sun Fei, he screamed hoarsely, "You... you damned pig, you idiot, you you you..."
Click, click!
The thigh that had just healed was trampled into a pile of minced meat again.
Sun Fei patiently squatted down and dripped a few more drops of the [ Healing Potion ].
This time, the black-clad mage, slowly waking up, seemed to finally understand his predicament and became somewhat more obedient. He was covered in sweat and panting heavily as he said, "Foolish fellow, if you want to live, run! Right here... you... have made a grave mistake."
"If I were you, I would prioritize my own life. Respected magician, tell me your name, your background... And, is this bastard called Kolbak?" Sun Fei pointed at the Silver-Masked Man's corpse and Earth Inquiry coldly, "You'd better spill everything you know, otherwise... Hmph!" Sun Fei's face revealed a ferocious look like that of a slaughtered pig.
"My life?" the black-clad sorcerer gritted his teeth as he replied, "Injured like this, do you think I have any hope of survival? Heh heh, but you, young King... tremble. Your future will be spent in eternal fear. You will be hunted down, watching your loved ones die one by one before your eyes, watching their skulls be made into goblets, their hearts cursed, their limbs ground into dust..."
Clap clap clap!
Sun Fei grabbed the black-clad magician by the collar and slapped him several times, sending bloody teeth flying to the ground. "You ignorant fool, you dare to curse me? My patience isn't very long. If you spout any more nonsense, I'll turn your skull into a wine glass first!"
"Bah! You killed Prince Kolbak of the fourth-level Sander Empire, haha, once the Sander Empire finds out, not to mention your tiny Chambord City, even your monarchy, the Zenit Empire, will be crushed to pieces..." The black-clad mage spat out a mouthful of blood, obediently answering the question under Sun Fei's menacing threat. His eyes flashed with resentment, and when he uttered the words "Sander Empire," he revealed a gloating expression, looking forward to seeing the King in front of him show a look of collapse. A fourth-level empire was an absolutely insurmountable force for a small border town like Chambord City.
But he was disappointed.
"This guy was actually a Prince of a dignified fourth-level empire?" Sun Fei was stunned for a moment, then grinned and pointed at the Silver-Masked Man's corpse. "I actually killed a Prince of a fourth-level empire? Haha, now that you mention it, I suddenly feel really good. The feeling of killing a Prince is just fucking different... Hey, does that damn Sander Empire even have Prince?"
"You..." The black-robed mage was stunned. His lips, which Sun Fei had slapped so badly, were swollen and looked like two sausages hanging from his mouth. His gap-toothed mouth let in the wind, and his words were unclear. He didn't know what to say. Did this stupid pig in front of him really not know what the consequences of offending a fourth-level empire were?
Seeing the mage's discomfiture, Sun Fei slowly said, "Hehe, after I knocked you unconscious, the Zenit Empire's cavalry wiped you out completely. Not a single person escaped. Hehe, I bet you guys came to Chambord City sneaking around this time. Now that everyone's dead, and you're the only survivor, imprisoned in the Iron Prison Dungeon, a place even Moon Class experts can't escape from, how would the Sander Empire know where their Prince died?"
"You..." The black-clad mage was struck dumb, his eyes widening as he blurted out, "How did you know?"
"Isn't that simple? From the very beginning, I've been puzzled as to why my enemies have never raised any banners. They claim you're a hastily assembled bandit group, yet your Black Armor Army is highly trained, disciplined, and possesses sophisticated and complete siege weaponry, along with numerous skilled fighters—you look like a high-level regular army... There's only one reason for this—you deliberately removed your flags to conceal your origins, not wanting anyone to know who you really are. But here's the question: why don't you want others to know? Because you're conducting a secret military operation, and very likely, this operation is for an objective that you can't let outsiders, or even your own people, know about... Heh heh!"
Sun Fei was actually spouting nonsense and talking complete rubbish.
But seeing the black-clad mage's increasingly grim expression, Sun Fei was secretly delighted. He knew that perhaps one of his earlier words had revealed a hidden truth. He grinned sinisterly and approached the black-clad mage, then suddenly his expression changed, and he coldly threatened, "Old man, heh heh, confess and you'll be treated leniently, resist and you'll be punished severely. If you don't want to suffer, tell me, what exactly are you doing sneaking into Chambord City?"
I'm a little late; I got an upset stomach from eating at the wedding.
